barsie2
Got both of those as well- seem pretty safe bets. Think if they come in i'll put all profit into England game
DanielM_90
Korea win, then if they do winnings will go on Argentina/England double.

sean_oc16
Put £1.15 of my winnings from yesterday on a treble of draws today @ 52.08 rest will be saved.
glory utd
Was tempted by that as well, 3 games so unpredictable though.
Bren24
Put my £12 Live In-Play free bet on over 2.5. Only returns just over £11, but it turns it into real money so meh. 1-0 South Korea, so definately got at least one £15 free bet coming later If south korea get a couple more, I'm tempted to put them on some correct scores. DanGLiverpool
Didn't someone on here mention odds on itv cutting to adverts during the World Cup? Apparently Paddy Power had it at 8/1.

Indaro
Started my own betting odyssey on Friday. Put £10 into my betfair account and attempting to see if i can make it last to the final with a minimum of one bet per game day. Day 1 : £2 on Mexico to beat S.Africa (-2) Day 1 : £2 Against France winning (+2) Day 2 : £2 Asian handicap against England winning my more that one goal (+2) Day 3 : Going with a Slovenia/Serbia double, gives me an oppotunity to get something back in the Germany game if things go badly. DanielM_90
Loving Italy -1 @ 10/3 tomorrow, know they not been as strong lately but seein Paraguay against the Republic of Ireland, they should do it imo
Bren24
Not had a good start to the WC. Lost about £70, mainly due to the England match. No betting cash now until Friday, although got a double of Holland and Portugal to win, so hopefully that will make up the ground a bit. Won't be out of pocket come the final, assuming one of the big teams win it. Got about £100 of free bets spread accross potential winners, look to win at least £120 at worst. iacovone
Italy notorious slow starters, I can't help but think Paraguay DNB is a good bet. Also on a Dutch/Cameroon double
Glenn Wakeford
Made around £19 getting all of Saturday's outcomes correct, and more importantly won £2 off Gudge for two USA-related bets (Dempsey to score at any time in tournament, USA to score against England). MrDiCanio
Probably my most enjoyable day betting-wise of all time. Not my most profitable, but definitely most satisfying. Went in to ladbrokes with a mate as he wanted to but a few bets on this morning, and I just did a £1 scorecast at 45/1. 1-0, Honda to score first Drew De Rossi in the first scorer sweepstake for this game, noone had the Paraguay scorer so I won that too I had also put a tenner on Under 2.5 goals in all of todays games which was 3/1. Got very nervy at times, but a great success So about £90 total today, should fund my whole tournaments betting
Hom3r
Hamsik FGS tomorrow? 8 on Ladbrokes.
Ruud van Nistelrooy
Not a gambler but have £7 in a betfair account so I've decided to see how much I can get from the World Cup. Started rather tentatively with a £2 bet on tomorrow's games, backing Brazil, Portugal and Slovakia.
lutontown1991
Have to throw €2 on Ivory Coast, Korea & New Zealand to win @ 700/1 The only bet that has come in for me was France not to concede a goal @ 6/
Glenn Wakeford
Have to throw €2 on Ivory Coast, Korea & New Zealand to win @ 700/1The only bet that has come in for me was France not to concede a goal @ 6/4 Not surprised with bets like that first one! Scoham
Won a few under 2.5 goal bets recently, Ivory Coast and Italy games, would have been fine on most games. Brazil v North Korea tonight though? I guess if Brazil score early they might get a few, but can imagine North Korea getting to half time 0-0 or only 1-0 down and hanging onto to a narrow defeat. Not worth betting on Brazil just to win, nothing obvious stands out to me.
Ruud van Nistelrooy
Lost £4 of my £7 today, which leaves 1 bet left. Slovakia (and then Portugal) messed up my first one, so I rather stupidly betted on having some goals in the later matches. Putting it all on Brazil and Spain would give me just about enough to make 2 more bets instead of 1, which I'm tempted by, without really fancying my chances of predicting anything else in the meantime. Qolumbo
So far, I've bet on wins for Mexico, France, Serbia, Japan, Italy and Portugal. Oddly the only one to win was the one with the biggest odds.
Ruud van Nistelrooy
Did the above, cue Brazil spectacularly failing to beat North Korea.
Scoham
Did under 2.5 goals on the Chile game. Can see more games being like that, not just in the first round.
Ruud van Nistelrooy
Well I shall humbly bow out of this thread
GG17
FFS. All the big teams doing me over. Had Chile and Spain to win. Also a cheeky quid on the Swiss to win 2-0. Betting is a mugs game.
GavinLP1987
After the first result of the second round I'm gonna take a punt on there being goals in the Argie match. Two goals - 11/5 Three goals - 16/
Charlesbeams
I think South Korea could beat Argentina today, and the odds were pretty nice too 8/
Qolumbo
I'm going with Greece today. Even though they were horrible in their first match, the odds seem too good against a mediocre team like Nigeria.
Glenn Wakeford
I think South Korea could beat Argentina today, and the odds were pretty nice too 8/1 Stuck a couple of quid on them.
dudge7
Checked my betting history and Higuain was 28/1 when I put a fiver on him being top scorer Hope he keeps being in the right place at the right time for those tap-ins
Blanco
Good money on the Argies Argentina to win both halves @ 3.95 was good for me Now, Greece vs Nigeria to have less than 1.5 goals please
Qolumbo
I'm new to using betting exchanges, but it seems like most of the promising odds I've found drop prior to the match in question. I guess I have to start placing my bets a day or two in advance, like I did with Greece.
Charlesbeams
I think South Korea could beat Argentina today, and the odds were pretty nice too 8/1 Stuck a couple of quid on them. Failed i should have mentioned i am terrible at betting
Glenn Wakeford
They were decent value and you're never sure which Argentina will show up at the moment, it wasn't outrageous. 4-1 flattered a little, the goals were quite soft. Still expect SK to qualify though.
Lermon
Mexico look quite good value tonight- 11/4 on Victor Chandler.

Rhino
Just taking a look at tomorrow's games - any recommendations? The Anytime Scorer market is absolute gash as usual, with Klose evens and Podolski 6/4 - very low odds for two guys who've scored 6 goals between them in the last domestic season. Qolumbo
I think there's more value in betting on the Serbs.

Glenn Wakeford
First overall.
Benjani'sBootCleaner
This Ghana game is going well betting wise had: - £1 on Both teams to score first half @ 6.00 - £1 on a Ghana Win @ 3.10 - £1 on 10/11 corners @ 4.50 - £2 on a Draw @ 3.25 Should be a nice little earner, already bagged £6, so in profit for the game. Luckily last night I made a couple of quid through the England draw and them getting 10 corners. They got the tenth corner right at the end of the game. That was sweet. CircusCarnie
Had a small bet on asian handicap for Paraguay, draw gets my stake returned. Think they are the better side but will probably be happy with a draw with only NZ left to play.
Ruud van Nistelrooy
Yes! Used a no-risk £20 on South Africa at 9/4 on 888. Won £45.
Qolumbo
I'm glad France are out. Otherwise, I would just keep betting on them and losing.

Glenn Wakeford
So far over 50% profit on this World Cup, not bad. Should go up a bit more when Brazil/Portgual qualify later.
