No regens from Canadian Clubs in my current save too, so if you want Canadian regens, look at the Canadian clubs playing in MLS (Toronto, ???). At least that was the reason for it in earlier versions of the game. So 2016 should be one day earlier too. In my game there are loads of english regens and then the rest of the countries have few or none. For example the only team in spain that produced regens are real madrid and they have 7. You can go back and forward months but if you find the regens from the country your wanting, you can see the date to the left. Hope that helps a few people. Although if I recall correctly from my holidaying, not the early ones, just from ~Aug and onward. This is fairly easy to check by starting in 2011 and holidaying to Jan 1 2012 and then checking the history on the World > Transfers > World > Youth Intake screen.
