smp20
An excellent season where we topped the league by some distance in the end. The additions of Mogensen, Drott and Anbo part way through the season helped us finish strong. smp20
A new stadium on the way and for once a sensible stadium move! We are out of the shadow of the FCKers and now neighbours with Brondby. Has anyone seen FC Midtjylland not finish in the top half of the table during this save? They are in serious danger of missing out right now. They are 9 points adrift of Esbjerg fB with 7 games to play before the split. It's effectively 10 points because there is also a goal difference wing swing of 16 to consider too. Makoto Nakamura
Silkeborg Idrætsforening, commonly known as Silkeborg IF or SIF in short) is a professional football club based in Silkeborg, Denmark. The club was founded in 1917, reached the highest level of Danish football in 1987, and afterwards became one of the most successful football clubs in Denmark. They won the 1993–94 Danish Superliga, finished 3rd in 1994–95 and 2000–01, 2nd in 1997–98, and won the Danish Cup in 2001. Silkeborg has participated in Europe several times, winning the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1996. A very young squad with lots of potential!

Jimbokav1971
Awards. Dec 2026. Brondby. Danish Manager of the Year. Bit of a strange one this really. I didn't win the league, (finished 4th). I didn't win the Cup, (knocked out in the Semi's),. My team didn't play in Europe last season. Granted we are doing well in all 3 competitions this season, but it's still strange when Jess Thorup did the double with FC København. Danish Media Player of the Year. He's scored at better than a goal a game in both league and European games this season after pushing on from a reasonable last season. Danish Players Player of the Year. Not capped at U19 or U21 level. I don't think a senior call-up is far away, (but I must have a look at the Danish National Team at the end of this season). Danish Team of the Year. Eriksen makes this too. I'm really interested to see who is playing in the Danish National Team and where in the World they're playing. Danish Superliga Autumn Player of the Year. I'm not really sure what period of games this covers. Danish Goalkeeper of the Year. I inherited Snorre 6'3" at HB Køge when I took over, but I let him go to Brondby when we missed out on promotion the 1st season. Luckily I then moved on to Brondby and renewed my acquaintance. I'm not looking to replace him at the moment. Danish National Team strikers. Kasper Dolberg is still at Nice but not doing very well. Mo Daramy is still at FC København and is worth £10.5M. He scored 32 league goals last season, winning the Golden boot. They are crying out for someone to come in and play with Daramy.

Jimbokav1971
Big bids. Jan 2027. Brondby. Chinese clubs are interested in Eriksen and Wuhan and someone else have just come in for him with bids of £2.2M and £1.8M. At the same time Shenjen came in with a bid of £1.8M for our other starting striker Kvistgaarden. Eriksen has just signed a new 3 year deal so I've got no reason to let him go and Kvistgaarden has 18 months left on his so it's sort of getting to the stage that I might think about either selling him or getting him to sign a new contract. Actually, he's HG at club so I definitely don't want to sell him. He's still only 24 years old.

My mentality varies, I certainly don't use defensive ones but switch from positive to attacking depending on being either at home or away.

Watson156
A.B End of Season Update | Season 2 21/22 Overall a fantastic season as we go back to back and are promoted into the Superliga. Initially I was a little cautious about how we were going to get on, but after the first few games I had a feeling that we would be ok. The first half of the season went fantastically as we were top of the league and that carried on in the 2nd half. We only lost 2 games for the rest of the season and when the league split into the Promotion/Relegation sports we were already 15 points clear of 3rd place. A couple of games later and the division was won. In the cup we came up against top division AGF. We managed to beat them 1-0 at home and I started to believe! However, it wasn't to be. Before the 2nd leg we suffered a couple of injuries and unfortunately it meant that we weren't able to come away with the result that we needed. We weren't a 4-1 loss bad but we move on. * * * * * The squad really came together again and while we were reliant again on loans we now have the wage budget that allows us to either make some of these loans permanent or start to look around and potentially bring in some better players. The permanent addition of Teddy Bartouche has been fantastic. He has really offered us a security blanket and has been a huge upgrade that we needed and has also emerged as a leader of this team. Our defense was really anchored at center back by Filip Panjeskovic. Filip has been on loan for the past 2 seasons and has been outstanding for us, unfortunately he has agreed to move to Bordeaux next season, maybe we can get him back on loan! In midfield there was some good contributors but the stand out 2 were Hektor Hojbjerre-Thomsen & Oliver Rimmen. Both of them have also been on loan for the past couple of seasons and they really stepped up their performances this season. Up front it was all about Noah Crone & Peter Clement. The pair contributed 48 goals and when Clement had an off game (didn't happen often!) Crone was there to pick up the slack. Really happy with how Clement stepped up to this level and hopefully he can once again step up and lead us to safety next season. * * * * * Couldn't quite believe that we were able to get him! Ideally I wanted him to become our Director of Football but he wanted £4k p/w so in the end had to settle with him coming in as a scout. As you can see we also have some big names on our staff including Patrice Evra, Milan Baros & Robert Huth. While they aren't especially great coaches they do bring in great scouting knowledge which in turn opens up the opportunity to sign players that are well above our level and would never have come across if it wasn't for them. I think this is good?!?!
Jimbokav1971
Season 7 Summary. Brondby. You know what I've just noticed? Brondby IF are sponsored by a company called Red Barnet and it's clearly visible on the shirts in the changing rooms when you load a game. Who do I support in real life? Yep. Barnet FC. It would appear that Red Barnet are a children's charity. If a foreign club came in for any of our players I think I would seriously consider it. There is no way I'm selling our best players to Midtjylland or København if I can help it. I was really lucky that he was still at the club when I took over. 3F Superliga Preliminary Stage. 3F Superliga Championship Group. Sydbank Pokalen. FC København are the best team in the Country. There is no disgrace to losing to them at the moment, especially not by a single goal in each leg, but we have to get better. We have to start turning them over. The 1st loss to them here initiated a run of 7 games within which we won just once, and saw us crash out of not only this competition, but also Europe. Europe. Europe prize money. I think a lot of people turn their nose up at the lesser European competitions because what you earn out of them is so small in comparison to the obscene amounts you get for playing in the Champions League. What I thought I would do is keep a track of all the money as we get it, and at the end of the season I'm going to add this with how much more gate receipts we have received than last season and this is going to give us a ball-park figure of what a season in the Euro Conference is worth to a club like our. Obviously I don't know how far we're going to go, but I'm aiming for the Group stages and will be a bit peeved if we don't make it. That being said I'm not going to be playing a full strength team in any of the games so we might get battered. I made a bit of an error when selecting my Euro Conference squads. I didn't pick any younger players because I assumed they would be available, but they have to be at the club for a certain length of time before they count as under-age players and as a result we're a fair bit weaker than we might have been. The other thing I did was select a very similar squad to the 3F Superliga squad, and what I should have done is selected different fringe players so that I had fresh players. Ah well. We live and learn as they say. Squad by Appearances. European Golden Boot. Transfers. I don't plan on spending much cash on anyone at the moment because I want to build up the infrastructure 1st. I've had £700k available all season and spent little of it. I'm happy with who I've got and I'm just bringing in players at the end of their contract if they improve us or are young players who will improve us in the future. Finances. Facilities. Our Facilities are already good. There is absolutely no doubt about it, but I want more. We don't have the cash to improve either the Training Facilities or the Youth Facilities, but we should be able to sort both the Junior Coaching and the Youth Recruitment. Unfortunately they have refused both requests, so I'm going to try and persuade them. (It didn't work). Youth Intake. (27a) Boilesen looks decent, but he's going to be a more workmanlike midfielder than the playmaker I was hoping for. ToMexico!!
Season 3 (2022/23) - Slagelse - 1. Division After promotion last season we needed to strengthen in a couple of key places, central midfield and central defence, we did both and we also managed to find a good young striker who joined from SfB-Oure FA. This season we would be mixing it with some decent sized clubs, Esbjerg, Lyngby and SonderjyskE to name a few. We had a decent start to life as our positive gameplay caught a few teams off guard. We won 5 out of the first 7 league games including big wins over fellow promotee's Skive and former top league team Lyngby but we also suffered at the hands of SonderjyskE, losing 7-5 at home. September was an awful month as we went without a win. October was much better as we went unbeaten in the league and also got through to the fourth round of the Pokalen, beating both B 93 and Lyngby. We crashed out of the Pokalen a month later against Ringkobing. In the winter window, first choice Portuguese CB Morgado left for his homeland after I let his contract run down. We strengthen though, Swedish CB Pettersen joined on a free after his release from Atvidaberg. Joakim Andersen also joined on a free to step into RB. Foro was a punt from Norway that didn't work out. A morale boosting mid-season preseason didn't work as we lost the first three games after the winter break, we steadied the ship against Hvidovre and drew 4-4 against Fredericia. The preliminary season had ended and we had managed to finish 6th, meaning we were in the promotion stage. Losing the opening two games of the stage, we then drew 4-4 again against Lyngby before beating Fremad Amager and Viborg back to back. We gave Esbjerg their first draw of the campaign with a solid 0-0 display before smashing Lyngby 4-1 and then losing the last two games of the season which saw Viborg leap frog us and dropped down to 6th. We scored plenty of goals this season but we also conceded them. We scored 3 or more on 16 occasions this season and conceded 3 or more on 10 occasions. Scoring those goals for us were Jeppe Mogensen with 27 for the season and he ended the season as the leagues top scorer with 21 whilst Mathias Lorentzen scored 20 goals and was 2nd in the league charts with 20. A key thing to happen this season was a board takeover which saw the debts consolidated into a manageable loan. I also signed a new contract more than doubling my wages although I did apply for jobs at Lyngby (who still haven't employed anyone, ala @Jimbokav1971 's problem with Brondby(?).), Start in Norway (they'd been relegated to 2nd tier) and Sirius in the Swedish 2nd tier. andychar
Smoochison Boochison Esbjerg Winter Break Our Cup game was the highlight, And we were so unlucky. We controlled the game and conceded late on. They dominated extra time and it was a matter of when not if. Although I thought we had held on for penalties it wasn't meant to be. We managed to keep hold of all our players apart from the 2 we knew were going. The replacements for them aren't nearly as good but they will keep us going. We should still be strong enough to go up comfortably. The preview of the intake.... Was a lot better than our intake! I have no intention of staying here past promotion so I really don't care! Jimbokav1971
I see others like @Makoto Nakamura& @ToMexico!! creating progress charts and as a reader I always love seeing them, but for some reason I'm often a little reluctant to complete my own. In this save I don't care about goal-scoring keepers, or red or yellow cards, and I don't even care about attendances, money or youth facilities really. All I really care about is winning stuff but even that is problematic as I can see me playing in multiple European competitions in the same season and I can see it breaking my chart. Anyway, here is an updated chart of my progress so far. Yes the Eriksen who score 40 goals for my HB Køge side in 2023/24 is the same Eriksen who scored 54 goals for my Brondby IF side last season. Eriksen isn't the only player to play for me at multiple clubs. I've actually had a player play for me at all 3 clubs after coming through the intake at Svendborg fB-Oure FA. (21f) Yaw Diallo (GHA) is very much a bit-part player though. He played 3 games in Europe last season but wasn't registered for the league and hasn't been registered for either domestic or European games this season.

Yeah. It's caused by you applying for the job and then accepting a new contract. The boffins are aware and fingers crossed it should be resolved in full update. The hiring process has stalled because 1 of the applicants is no longer available. My advice is to appoint a new manager to Lyngby and then immediately retire him and it should sort itself out.

MarcxD
2020-2021 Hillerød Fodbold pretty good first season over all, always fun to set a record. We are pretty closely matched with the other teams, with most games being very tightly contested, looking at the xG as well it will be interesting to see if any of the players on wages are willing to renew. currently 20k over the wage budget, including staff and youth The intake was decent but nothing too much of note, perhaps except that we got a Lithuanian GK for some reason who is my back-up GK now, and that I got two Frederik Sorensens. No relation.

Hopefully this season you can get promoted as well! @Jimbokav1971Congrats on winning the league with Brondby. Now you can start to build up to winning in Europe. It's also good to see how much money can be made in Europe. Oh ok cheers mate much appreciated. 2 hours ago, karanhsingh said: Robinho absolutely is pants but sometimes you cannot resist. Agree re physical attributes in FM. I always prefer a re-building job rather than taking over a team doing well, so hope they fall away a bit on my save. That's a sizeable boost. Great work! I was gonna respond to this but I realized you have posted a number of updates since then so seems I am a bit late Great stuff, keen to see how the Icelandic kid continues to progress. Wow! He absolutely does. And a good personality too. That's a great gig, probably the perfect role before Brondby. Eriksen looks great, hope he can break into the national team. From this I assume that you are now able to offer longer contracts to players, was it after you got promoted to the top division? Lol just keep progressing and also do coaching badges whenever you can. Very well done! Congratulations on the league title. Yeah I am trying to convince the board to put me through my badges but they keep rejecting me.

He doesn't actually look that good. He just scores loads of goals. He's classed as a "Pacy hitman" and I think that tells you everything. He's just a rubbish Jamie Vardy. I think this striker might be over-powered in the game by the looks of it. The problem is that I've got quite a few strikers on the books now and some of them look better than him. If I could get someone interested in buying him I would probably sell and give the next one a go. Kvistgaarden was already at the club when I arrived and is Eriksen's regular partner. He doesn't score many goals but is more pleasing aesthetically on the eye. I signed Bonde on a free and have loaned him back to the OB who had him before. (Why not offer him a new contract then?). He looks really good and isn't another speed merchant. I also like the "likes ball played to feet" PPM on him because it offers something a little different. Finn Skytte came through the Svendborg fB-Oure FA Academy after I left. They really do have decent facilities there and you should all be keeping an eye on the players they produce. He's also gone on loan to OB with Blonde, (that was a mistake), and is playing in front of him. Hansen * looks like the real deal and is probably the 1 I want to play instead of Eriksen, (if he would just stop scoring). I can't get anyone to come in for Olsen on loan, even if I ask no wages. That doesn't seem right. He's starting to complain about not playing but has 2 years left on his contract. I think I might have to flog him on the cheap. Tranberg * is a player that I was tracking for ages, but I don't think the scout reports were accurate and he's not got as much PA as they claimed. (Or maybe the coaches are wrong). Mikkel Iversen * is the next on the list. He's got the pace but not the dribbling ability, although his finishing is really good. I was hoping that he would be an upgrade, but I;m not convinced at the moment. The 2 best strikers to come through the Academy so far are both Faroese believe it or not. Neither are really up to the level we need, but they look reasonable(ish). If I was doing a Youth Only save I'm sure I could do something with them. If I'm honest with you I think it's far too easy to sign players. There seem to be loads of contracts expiring in Jan here for some reason. (I hate that in my own players). I can just send my DoF to sign them at the End of Contract and every Jan I seem to get a couple/4 decent players arrive on a free. In England we would still have to pay compensation, (which is right in my opinion). I'm not even really trying to find players like this at the moment. They are really almost falling into my lap. I'm working completely off scout reports and not actively searching other clubs. It's just too easy.

I forgot to update you on this. We had a takeover and initially I thought I was getting replaced and panicked a little, but he came in with a bunch of Danes, as the Chairman. I used to follow Spurs as a kid and the Romanians about that time were ridiculous. Dumitrescu was also at Spurs and of course Chelsea had Petrescu. Hagi was the main man in Romania at the time and I think a lot of that squad got moves off their performances in the World Cup in the USA, (can't remember the year). Deisler26
Pacy strikers do seem over-powered right now. As is the fact you can't get a lower tier centre back with more than 10 pace?

I agree with you about the ease of signing players especially due to the contractual situations in Denmark, I only hope that is not a game wide issue. Also, they did say that signing players will be easier in season 1 due to the way they have written Covid into the game. That being said, it will be harder for you from this point on, as you need to bring in a better quality player in order to be competitive in Europe. 99% of the players playing in Denmark probably won't cut it anymore. 1 hour ago, deez0r said: Professional We have turned professional as well! karanhsingh
Guys @Jimbokav1971 @Makoto Nakamura, I got the Wannachup skin, on the Player Overview screen it keeps on re-setting all the tabs to "Plans" except for the one which I had changed to show "progress". Does this happen to anyone else? It used to happen on FM20 as well, very frustrating. Screenshot below.

I'm using Wannachup but I'm not having this problem, but I am having the problems that my goal-scorer names are vanishing on the overview screen after the game. My colouring is different to yours. Maybe try the other skin. Edited November 16, 2020 by Jimbokav1971
Jimbokav1971
I've just looked at the FC København squad in my game and am astonished. They have 17 players who are earning £10k+ per week. This is us. How on Earth did we beat them last season?
karanhsingh
Wow those are some big wages for Denmark. Was not expecting it. Hadn't they sold Daramy IRL? BTW - how's Borkeeit doing for you? I remember trying to buy him in FM20
Jimbokav1971
Hi guys. I need some help with my views. This is the view that I use when selecting my match day squad. Everything is fine except that I have removed whatever the new version of match fitness is, and I can't find it to replace it. It's not Fatigue. It's not Injured On. It's not Injury. It's not Injury preventing training. It's not Injury Susceptibility. Match Load? No. Not that. It's not Overall Risk. It's not Recurring Injury. It's not Time Out. It's not Training Load. This is it! SHP Match Sharpness. Where do I find that to add it back on?
