Not sure how familiar you are with the editor, but generally when you look at the person in the editor there should be a delete option near the bottom right, I believe, of the editor. So after loading the main database and the editor data file from Foss, search for the player you want to delete, delete the player, and then save the data file. I think you could either save over Foss’ file or save an additional data file, in which you would load the edited saved over file or Foss’ + the additional file when starting a new game. I am not at my computer that has FM so I cannot be exact - apologies in advance.

Hi!

 These players: goson sakai, takahiro kunimoto, takehiro tomiyasu, yuta toyokawa, yosuke ideguchi. They already exist in the normal database.

When I open the Editor I go FILE - LOAD EDITOR DATA - and I select JDB2 - in DATABASE dropdown I select PEOPLE - I find the player with the FILTER - and click REMOVE.  Then I go to FILE and SAVE EDITOR DATA overwriting the JDB2 file.

The weird thing now is that I just tried again the game and I got 2 Ideguchi players( 2 different IDs) and I am now with editor open and the JDB2 file shows only one.

I am totally confused on how to make it work.

GUYS, I am sorry! Regarding why players kept showing, I found another edt file with the same players. So this bit is solved.

NEW UPDATE:

2018 Season:

Japanese Regional League Division 1+2, Hokkaido League and Block Leagues DONE。

Japanese Prefecture Leagues. All 47 DONE.

U18 Premier League and Prince League (108 TEAMS!!) DONE.

TO DO:

University Leagues:

Senior Cups:

Youth Cups:

.

After this step I will try to make the database work. then I will add players to the leagues that provide data (NOT MANY DO).

As I have little to no experience with creating Leagues using the DB. I will Give foss the competition rules and regulations for each competition.

Man, the difference from my DB to the Steffi facepack is 528!!! So I have to add 528 to file IDs...HELL! So I am digging for automating apps and I found Pullover Macro, I can record the process but I am lost on how to set it to apply to next PICTURE..it keeps repeating the process and copying the same file over and over...

Does anyone here have the knowledge to use apps like that?

UPDATE: Here is a list of all the players for the 9 leagues Below the JFL

For some reason I can't find the players for the Chugoku league. will try again later.

I will start adding the players in now. Then I will add it as a playable league.

Okay! after a few days learning how to use the editor, I am slowly getting somewhere! Finally figured out how to create cups that have various league winners participate (including university divisions) with group leagues and stuff. Should have the hokkaido block leagues done tommorow (already close). They have the toughest rules out of all the leagues. and The Shakajin Cup Qualifiers I have been able to create. without Foss this is really hard. but at least it's moving along :)

There was a related issue after one of the patches last year where some youngsters appeared as English because the duplication apparently didn't work properly and their nation field wasn't registered by the game during player generation. England seems to be the default nation if the field is empty and I suspect there are lingering players created as duplicates in the file that the game erroneously considers English, which in turn ends up "polluting" the newgen name pool with Japanese names.

I've reset every created Japanese player's nationality hopefully fixing this issue."

Is there a shortcut to view affiliates when playing as a Japanese club since you can't access the club info screen?

FLUT skin doesn't have it on the boardroom screen either.

I could be wrong, But i think the problem is IF a Japanese player doesn't have his nationality set to Japan then the default is England. so The regens would also use the Last/First name tied to the database. If this is the case then you just have to find the players who don't have a nationality set.

So is there still any major bug going on like duplicate players? I'd like to start a new long term save in Japan but i've been waiting for a stable and non game breaking update.

When you say "no cup competitions" do you mean the main ones FA cup equivalent? if yes it's a big turn off.

@Foss I noticed FC Ryukyu (J3) has no players in your database. It seems to be the only team in that division that lacks a squad, so I've endeavoured to create it for them with the full 26-man squad, personal data, footedness, accurate positions and attributes where I can judge them, and full player histories where available. If you want to add my changes to your DB or consult them, let me know.

Can you just not add these nations in to Japan - "Nations Treated as Non-Foreign", or could even create a Agreement of the "Japan Partner Nations"

Does all the work you are doing applies on the file that Floss uploaded ?

And if you guys need help on something, maybe i can give a hand..

Hello there, are the duplicated players been corrected? also is the database running with the latest update of the game? right now i'm only interested in the bulk of the japanese players that are in this database, not so much as to play the J-league, but will be using it when is totally ready that is why i'm asking if the players error has been corrected.

While its configurating , even if it stops working ,should I wait it out to sort it out and continue creating the career?

Left over half a hour and nothing changed , stucked in the configuration part (bar stucked in the 'u' part)

On a side note, should I delete every other editor files in order for this one to work? Cheers

Yes, it should eventually continue even though the initial setup might take a long time.

You do not need to delete any other files.
