I've picked a club from the Alps, mainly because I wanted to manage a team in this region and the logo was what did it for me. It's located at the foot of a mountain pass, so I guess it could be considered a fraudulent Alps club by being in the region but not real high? The team has been in a steady decline over the last 20 years so this can be seen as a bit of a recovery project as well. I only have 9 real players so I may have to sign some grey players. Joy. We won 7 out of our last 9, but next season is going to be much tougher, as we lose a number of key players, and our youth players are not yet 16. Key Players Because I don't have 11 players, I don't get a season review, and I left it too late to get the season stats. Diop was our top scorer, but he will be gone in a week. Our best player this year. 9 goals, 6 assists, 3 PoM, 7.22 AvR. Also gone in a week. Finally got someone to sign a new contract, keen to see what he will do next season. A goal, handful of assists and a rating over 7. Next season I am just hoping to keep my job, We are losing 4 players and none of our youths are 16 yet. I'm also happy that my complete sqaud signed a new contract. Games: Cup: We reached the 8th round, but got eliminated by a 3th division team, due to a goal in the last minute Youth intake: Not good, but better than I expected with my terrible facilities These are my 2 best from this intake. Meet Latté de Eoné, a Chadian/Guadeloupean guy who just happened to be the right man at the right time to take the reigns at US Changéenne. Their name says everything. They want to change the world to become a dominant force. Eventually. Let's see what we have here. We have some potential here. We're already semi-professional which could definetly help out signing the youth. A relatively big stadium for the level we're playing in. It's in poor condition though. Our other facilities are mediocre, which is fine for now. We have nobody. Next to no balance but look at that wage budget! We *might* need to experiment a little. Okay that's enough for now. Good facilities, great youth facilities, good coaching and established recruitment, some interesting players, like Vincent Thill, and somehow Pedro Neto... The new OL stadium is practically across the road. I can't wait to finish above Olympique Lyonnais (they're official partners for now) in the league. Speaking a bit more about the club, the facilities are at the bare minimum but a few "famous" players passed by this club. Maybe you know about the most recent one... Nabil Fekir. He played there as a young player before signing for OL and a came back to them after being released by Lyon. Only one year later, he's back with OL and for good this time. You know the rest. Others good footballers that played for F.C. Vaulx are Laurent Courtois, Abdelkader and Rachid Ghezzal or Kurt Zouma. Constant circulation of players between small clubs of the Lyon's region is a classic and this is indeed the case for us with Anthony Esparza (former Saint-Priest / Chasselay), Cedric Uras (72 games with OL) and Soner Ertek (former Saint-Priest / Chasselay / Villefranche) currently at the club.
