[FM18] What do you call genetically modified corn? I suppose it's still corn-ish.

A big loss on the final day of the season but it's also our best ever finish! :D Turns out we have 139 players at the club so I think it's time for a bit of a clear out!

How come Arsenal are suddenly doing well again?

Arsenal hired a new manager last January, maybe it's his influence?

How come you aren't improving it? Wouldn't it improve your PA coming through?

I think it just increases the radius of birthplaces to be honest.

pleased to see Alexander-Arnold stayed at Liverpool his entire playing career! One-club players very rare nowadays.

Great month last month

Thanks Clarky!

Nice to see most of the kids coming through are still Cornwall though.

Have to say this is the most unbelievable career. Those finances are quite something. Do you miss the days of scraping every penny in non-league?! Also unbelievable that in the 25 odd years you've been in the football league, every year but 1 the media predicted you last. Will they never learn...

To add to Aldish' comment, that's why I haven't increased Youth Recruitment (I can't remember improving it to basic) The Cornish believe in the Cornish, I wanted to try and keep the team as Cornish as possible as we rose through the leagues.

Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you say so! :D I definitely don't miss the money trouble days! The media are bound to learn some day!

My understanding is that it's also one of the factors that can increase the PA of youth players.

Spoiler

With a limited Youth Recruitment, you'll be recruiting - as you say - from Cornwall and nearby, with a few from further afield, now that you're in the PL.

But since there's a fairly limited population down there, you're recruiting the best of a mediocre bunch. The wider you cast your net, the bigger the pool of players and the more chance there is of you getting a good one  - even from as far away as Bristol!

Huddersfield wants to make a record-breaking season, it seems.

I hope they do break the record, the current record is Barnet's 9 points in the 2041/42 season.

That's fair enough, I'm still going to stick it out without improving it, may change it in the future though. :)
