Although easy to set up I've not seen better results in testing from changing tactics. As the tactic is set up with Lpool it is used to breaking down a defensive AI.

he tactics should therefore set up as attacking It has been possible by dropping DL and mentality to look after ball and try to entice AI out . The problem is the AI are content when defensive to play the ball around at the bake like Brazil.

Small tweaks or an alternative tactic may help,

@Scruffer23

Salah always plys on right no matter what, so difficult to have a rule as it depends on players. Usually wingeres left on left inverted left on right, but cut in ppm tends to override.

It is best to try them out and change them over during a match

Couple of PEP Tactics but less aggrecsive so using WBs. Maybe in theory more like PEP as the WBs could go either way, so maybe theincludes the  IWB  idea.

Standard tactic

I noticed the Spurs version has FLOAT whichI presume is the float crosses option, the tactic has low crosses set though is that right?

Hey Knap - I am currently using this tactic with Man U 5th season. The tactic is unreal going forwards against both small teams and big teams. I am not sure if this is just the game but when playing away to big teams do you have any tips to maintain a lead? I just drew 5-5 away to Liverpool after being 2 goals up twice. Like I say, great going forward just frustrating to throw away leads time after time.

Great work - thank you

Hello Knap, thanks a lot for all your great works.

I play mid teams and i have my best results with Warrior and BlackEcho. These are my favorite tactics.

But as a big fan of Bielsa irl, i tried something inspired by Bielsa and Pilgrimage tactic.

For the moment the results are not so good. Do you have some advice for me ?

One reason for checking out mentality matters is to give you the possible tweaks for a SUS or control.

A SUS Tactic for Lpool with a few tweaks may not be good enough fo Norwich.

Mentality change for a top side could just be Cautious but with an under dog defensive.

Also need to consider during a match at what point you change, as it can be done in steps, 1st a control tactic then SUS. The reason for tis is that defensive tactics can et the AI back into game.

In general I would drop to defensive.

Also remember you can change roles with no nonsense FBs and a MC on defend.

All the above can be applied to any tactic, although there is a 4141 SUS in google docs, as changing to a more defensive formation can work.

struggling a little bit on this version of fm. got a very good man utd team and having tried most of these tactics i've only managed 80-85 points in my first 2 seasons. with liverpool comfortably winning the league. had so much success using your tactics for the past 10 years i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong? only thing i'm not using is shouts but i doubt they'd make such a huge difference

Mr Hough did a lot of testing with MU and they should be at 90+ pts.

Have you tried Warrior.

hello knap.

i seem to go through spells of winning like 5 in a row and then i'll draw or lose a couple. my second season record is 25-7-6. don't think it's a quality problem as i've signed kimmich, gnabry, sancho, haaland + more. i've used holyghostfire 4321, beowulf 442, blackecho 424 and fireandwatervol23421.

i'll give warrior a try next. any ideas on what i'm doing wrong? i let ass man take press conferences and team talks, i skip tactical briefings and i don't use any oi's.

Hi, i´m playing with Celta de Vigo. I´m in my 5th season. I managed to win the League last season after being 4th,3rd and 2nd the previous years. I also reached the Champions League semi finals. I´ve been using mostly 4321 so my team is full of wingers and attacking midfielders. Media prediction 6th. Average CA 145. I´m having a hard time against the big boys (Madrid, Barcelona and the european giants), mostly away. I´m looking for a tactic to use in that big matches or some clues (maybe another 4321 for the whole season). Yes i´ve tried to lower the mentality but it didn´t work very well. Thanks in advance!!

What version of 4321 have you been using?

I´m currently using Alavanja Annunaki from fmscout but i won the league using mostly Anhihilator by another user. I found Anhihilator not very reliable against the big teams.

These have done good in testing

Sorry again...do they work with natural wingers or do i need opposite foot?

No clue, haven't used them so would have to ask Knap but if they have the "winger" role I imagine it would be prefered to have right on right and left on left.

For Difficult games you can try Man Marking, which works better with a 3 front triangle. You can try IIs on the most advanced dangerous midfield player. Can also try RDF Tweaks of not tight marking world class wingers. There are more RDF Tweaks and tactics like BIG AWAY..
