bored with game now think this will be my last ever fm purchase

can someone tell me how to score please ? or is they a bug that says when you take over your favourite team the games not letting you score not even from a penalty missed 8 pens on trot getting beat all time despite dominating everygame is this a bug cause watched full game opposition keeper worldclass with crap stats starting do get bored with game now i know it shouldnt be easy but this takein the **** now

yes i know but got use to that but after 5 months this game still same defenders dont tackle midfield just walks and strikers carnt score seems lower the stats more world class players are but i think everybody as moaned about fm13 as just full of bugs

Have you ever considered that your tactics and orders are responsible for some of your issues?

I went back to fm12 but the annoying thing is the morale, 1 defeat and my team goes to ****. I think FM is more frustrating than fun these days, players don't do what I ask; tactics have no input etc probably be my last too, shame because I used to love FM I remember waking up early just to play it and staying up until 3 in the morning planning my summer transfers.

I've stopped playing FM13 altogether, went back to FM12 where I have a cracker of a save going at the moment, I do feel like this will be my last FM purchase as well.

You're not alone mate. I really like a lot of what has been implemented with FM13 but the fun factor has decreased significantly since FM12. I honestly think that the new ME is the main culprit as it simply doesn't flow properly and isn't fun to watch. Couple that with the fact that the game is also way slower than FM12 when it comes to processing and rather than a game we have a cure for insomnia. Here's hoping that the upcoming patch fixes the ME at least although I don't hold out a lot of hope.

This sums it up perfectly for me. Im actually playing CM0102, I hoped FMC would kill CM0102 for me - I want to play FM13, but it just highlighted what was fun and what was frustration.Thread will be closed soon no doubt but should be stickied as this is not a rant, it is a fair comment (eric's post, not necessarily the OP)

Well the ME is pretty terrible and puts me off plus you never know when a patch is coming and if it will be the last one or the one to make it more enjoyable so you kinda just wait and wait for a patch then it comes and the ME is still bad, sometimes previous patches just made it worse so for me FM13 doesn't even count it's like the game is an open beta for the ME which in my opinion will be months before it's playable so yeah, FM13 is an open beta and I hope to god FM14 is nothing like this.

I would have to say this is the worst FM of recent years.........the ME updates have made the game unplayable

Aye they dropped the ball on this one, no idea why they took such a massive gamble and released an ME in the state it was and currently is in, surely it makes sense to develop it in studio and give it a proper test before adding it into the next installment of FM and I hate to think how much testing it got considering the sorry state it was in, it's kinda like Windows releasing an operating system they gambled on and barely tested, to me it's a massive mistake and very amateurish from SI.

As I said the game feels like a beta because of the ME, everything else is pretty much sorted except the main bit, I'd still love to know why they put this ME in FM13 and didn't develop it further first. You develop something then release it yet SI seemed to have adopted the opposite strategy where they release it then develop it, I'll still buy FM14 regardless and hope they won't make the same mistake twice.

I think FM should be like music albums - released only when they're happy with the final product.

Releasing a new game like clockwork every year puts pressure on the developers and we've seen in recent versions they are clearly unfinished products being released on to the shelves. Many people have said they wait until the January patch before even buying it, because these days it's always unfinished.

If SI give themselves more time and actually dedicate themselves to making the next release better than the last, they should really not give themselves a yearly deadline each time and instead release as and when the game meets the very high standards both they and us the players seem to command.

Obviously, this will never happen because people, even the moaners, still buy it every year so it would make no business sense to release the game less often.

This year's football manager is a joke. Granted, I only played 13.2.2 cause I only got the game recently and I am not sure how it was previously, but the match engine is horrendous.

Utter trash of a game, I have only played this game for less than a week and I want to sell it, but I can't cause it's tied to my Steam account.

Its worse than you think, they actually make a perfect game, then intentionally release a bugged version for us, just so they can fix it and we all love them a bit more. The whole thing is just a conspiricy guys.

It's poor that some of those things were blatant and yet not picked up during testing and had to be patched only after the game was released.

Maybe I am being harsh on the game but I have higher expectations as I always enjoyed the previous versions of FM and this year, I want to get rid of it after less than a week.

Perhaps english is not his native language... so... give the guy a little break.

I can relate to that, because english is not my native language also (i'm portuguese) and i think it's a little bad when people criticize me about my writting.

I don't think that our expectations differ. I was countering the claim that SI do nothing about it.

Sigh! Shame you dont put as much effort in your complaining than you do playing the game then you might have achieved something by now :D

I can relate to that, because english is not my native language also (i'm portuguese) and i think it's a little bad when people criticize me about my writting.

At least you use full stops and commas which makes for easier reading.
