The U20 team is coached by U20 coaches but the U18 team is coached by both U18 and U20 coaches. Therefore if they are under 18 I'd leave them in that team

I'm currently playing with masked attributes and have set scouting to one week. My scouts are almost always reporting back with all the players' attributes revealed so I don't see any need to scout for longer than a week.

I don't know if you can find the players that you've manually selected but you can see the backlog if you go to Scouting>>Recruitment Focus>>Scout Priorities.

I’m not sure that promises are broken. I think that the problem arises when you consider the type of promise that is being made. If you promise to get promotion or win a domestic club that’s black or white … you either succeed or fail but if you promise to improve the coaching staff / midfielders / or whatever that’s totally subjective. You may think you’ve made the necessary improvements but the player may not … it’s debatable who’s correct. My rule of thumb is never to make any promises other than to compete for promotion. If a player wants to discuss his playing time I never speak to them on the basis that whatever I say will be “wrong.” They’ll probably get upset but after a couple of months they may well have got over it … if not they can go at the next transfer window.

It’s not possible … I imagine that IRL the requirement for remuneration from the parent club depends on the status of the borrowing club. If the proposed loan is in line with the parent club’s requirements for the player’s development then the demanded remuneration would be less that it would be if the parent club was not convinced that the loan would be good for the player.

I like managing in Italy but I always tell my scouts to restrict their reports to EU nationals only. Totally agree about anything else being an absolute pain.

I’m pretty sure that you can’t fix it. All you can do is keep playing and hope that at the start of a new season you are given an option for your U19s and reserve teams to join the appropriate league.

It's halfway through my first season with Stockport in Sky League Two. I've not made any transfers in or out so I have the same team that I inherited. We've got 58% average possession and 83% pass completion so I'd say that it's perfectly possible to play a passing game at that level.

I agree ... it's a total pain but as a workaround try removing the player from your shortlist as soon as you've offered him a contract.
