    I almost always use the option at the start of a save to set my qualifications to match the team that I have chosen to manage as I think that this is quite realistic. I've found that if you start with lower qualifications the players all hate you, at least until you've won a couple of leagues and on the other hand it does seem a bit pointless starting as a fully qualified international superstar in the lower leagues.

    Have a look at Brazil where they play loads of games. If I remember correctly all (?) or most (?) or many (?) teams play in two leagues each year one being a State league and the other being a National league.

    Well, on the basis that I regularly go through the whole of my first team with a view to reducing the playing status of anybody who isn’t going to complain I can see no point in voluntarily increasing anybody’s playing status.

    Agree ... there are far too many toxic comments which make for unpleasant reading. I am sure that SI welcomes constructive criticism but there is no excuse for some of the rants that appear on the site.

    I always understood that playing time was calculated as a percentage of games started.

    Passion4Fm.com has a list of all the different scouting regions which includes the level of youth rating for each country in that region and the game importance of that country. The list is for FM22 but AFAIK it's exactly the same for FM23.

    This. I’m assuming that this is your first season at the club. You have to be successful in your first year then review matters. Then you have to prove to the players that the success in the first year wasn’t a fluke. If you’ve been successful for two years then you may well have earned the respect of all the players and you should then get positive responses from the whole team. It’s, quite rightly, hard to earn the respect of the whole team.

    I believe that this relates to FM Touch. If so, you will probably receive a better response if you post your question on that forum.

    You didn't have the English leagues loaded into your game and as a result of this no games in those leagues were played in the background during your save in Italy. Thus when you added England at the start of your third season you will have loaded the original database.

    Try Preferences>>Custom Screen flow and untick visit news screen automatically. This works for FM22 and FM23 and IIRC worked for FM21 as well.

    It’s copyrighted so that TV stations, newspapers and anybody else who wants to publish the results has to pay to do so.

    I use this all the time. The DoF negotiates the purchase and if he's successful you'll receive a message to that effect which gives you the option to leave the contract negotiations to the DoF or for you do them. If you delegate the contact negotiations to the DoF and he's unsuccessful you should be given the option to take over the negotiations yourself.

    The AI seems to using 3-4DM-2-1 formations quite often now. AFAIK this a new formation for FM23. Has anybody tried this out and had any success with it?

    People are much more likely to read your posts if you save your screenshots as a pnk file and paste it directly into your post. Not everybody has Word. Perhaps you should post this in the appropriate section of the bug tracker so that it is investigated
