Belgium finances
phantombandit commented on OlivierL's issue in Player Development, Injuries, Finances and Training
I feel like belgium as a nation is one of the hardest nations to play in. They basically gave the league to their big 5 who get 80% of all TV money with  to everyone else. -
phantombandit started following Squad unhappy at anything but optimal team talks , Squad uprisings happening too often from team talks , Too few set piece coaches? and 2 others

I dont know if this was something that was updated about the game with the release day patch or not, but players are still having uprisings too often as a result of team talks (and many other events). Here I had a player come to me unhappy about the team talk I just did. Everyone on the team was encouraged by the team talk except for one player, who had an orange response to the team talk, being anxious, and is now wanting to talk to me about the team talk.

I am wondering if anyone else feels as tho there are too few setpiece coaches. I am currently 4th in the scottish premier league, but am only able to find setpiece coaches with a set piece skill of 12. On top of this, these coaches hardly last a season before being poached by teams like arsenal or Juventus. It seems like even the biggest clubs in the world are having to fight over below average set piece coaches.

This has been an issue since fm22 when I started playing, however, players will frequently complain about wanting to leave because they dont think they will qualify for a work permit, when often they will qualify. Players getting upset about this should honestly be deleted, but another choice of resolving this is a promise to offer a contract and transfer list if a work permit is denied. I have laterally had this happen before in main land european countries where the only condition for a work permit is a salary threshold, and players who were signed on the minimum threshold 3 or 4 years ago, are now demanding to be transfer listed because they dont think you can offer them the 3k a year extra for them to qualify this time around.

I offered a player impact sub upon meeting a target for his loan. He finished his loan at the end of the season and is now upset that he is not being recognized as being an impact sub. I am not sure if this is a bug or just a quality of life change that is needed. If the 'recognition' is in regards to his actual playing time then he should be getting upset during the end of season break. If it is his agreed playing time then it should probably just automatically set their playing time to the agreed upon value upon the completion of the target, or have a dialog option where you can either agree to change their playing time (and does so automatically) or you can try and renege on your promise. Either way, the game doesnt seem too clear on what you have to do to honor your end of the bargin, and it should probably just be automatic.

Have you made sure they are not an affiliate that has a 'can request friendly' clause?

You also have to bear in mind that younger players in real life are hesitant to move to a different club away from home. It is also pretty bad for their development. Generally it is preferable to get game time at a smaller club before moving to a big club. There is a player here in the US who is considered to be one of the best young players in the world and he has refused moves to bigger clubs, instead opting to stay at his local team inorder to finish school at home, and also because he is able to negotiate better release conditions.

Replayed the match, losing 3-0, the same goal difference and it turns out the correct answer was 'you got unlucky, a win would have been nice'. I can definitely see how the difference between this and 'were were underdogs, you did your best' is the difference between all greens in team talk and a literal squad uprising.

Squads seam to have 'unhappy with squad situation' if you select anything but what the game feels is the perfectly optimal team talk after a match. Here I just played a match against celtic as ayr, lost 4-1 and did the 'we were underdogs and you did you best' which was the recommended team talk by my assistant. The result was the entire team being furious and wanting to have a team meeting. I can understand it might not have been the optimal team talk, however it shouldnt result in a squad uprising.
