INTERNAL MATTERS

We found out in the summer that I had won the Best Manager of the Year and the Best Portuguese Manager Award.

Right after the last season ended the TV money came in and it was time ask the board the start improving things again after some tough times financially for the club over the last few years. We started with the training facilities and youth facilities. They weren’t willing to training facilities, but they did agree to improve the youth facilities with a cost of £300k. Eventually we would try again, and they would grant an improvement to the training facilities with a cost of £950k.

They agreed to improve both junior coaching and youth recruitment, so major success on that front.

We had elections again at the club and we got a new President. Avellino Filipe took the reigns from exiting President Renato Pires.

A lot of work was done this year to attempt to tie our main guys to long contracts and trying to omit release clauses. In the main we managed it well. Goncalo Casqueiro was the main hold out now. I could have signed him earlier to a contract with a bad release clause but now he is saying that he won’t sign until the squad improves. Eventually we would be able to lock him down to a 4-year extension, but it would come at the cost of a £3m release fee. That fee I probably wouldn’t be too happy with, but looking at it another way, it would pay for facility upgrades on its own and it is an area of the pitch where we have a lot of potential ability. Hopefully we can negotiate it out in a future deal.

Fabio Leite, we did get to sign a new 5-year contract. But then he came saying that he might need to move clubs. We agreed on a fee of £11.5m if he is to move. I think if that happened, we would both be happy. I don’t want to lose him, and in 4 and half years a lot of things can happen. So, we will see how that plays out. Towards the end of the season, I did start to see that PSG and AC Milan had become interested in him so we might need to start making peace with the fact he might end up going, but I will take the money if it comes.

With plenty of money in the bank, we asked again for the training and youth facilities to be improved and this time without problems both were agreed to. The training facilities will set us back £1.8m and the Youth Facilities will set us back £1.6m. However, they will only complete in the summer.

A little bit later we were able to convince the board to increase our youth recruitment once again. With both exceptional junior coaching and youth recruitment I believe that is now the maximum available for us, so we should hopefully see the fruits of that labour in the future.

This year we were also allowed to study for our Continental B Licence.

As the season was ending, we made a massive call that we had been contemplating for the last two seasons. The last two youth intakes had underwhelmed me a bit and we had already lined up a potential replacement for Igor Araujo our Head of Youth Development since the start of the save. He had done a great job overall from our start, but now I wasn’t sure that he was up to the next task to bring me better and better players. Also, some of the personalities of the youngsters were not to my liking. So, after the youth intake had come, I considered everything and decided to make the move. We bring Keith Steele as our new Head of Youth Development. He has a slightly better personality; his formation is the same so there is no problem there. One concern was that he wasn’t Portuguese and whether he would be as well versed in the Portuguese market, where many of our players come from, but it is a gamble. I felt that now was the right time and would give around 8 months until the next youth preview and that should be enough time to get going. He joins on a 4-year deal, so he will have that long to prove his worth, otherwise we might be looking for his replacement.

Right at the end of the season, Ivan Monteiro told us that he wanted to move to a more ambitious club. We couldn’t agree on a fee, so he is annoyed about that. He had another 4 years, but he does have a release fee of £2.3m so that could be a problem for us. Although again the money would be handy, I wouldn’t want to lose him.

PLAYER MOVEMENTS

Up to the first team came Jan Reffet, who now can play left-back and Fernando Carloto who looked good enough to play at centre back.

Later in the season, after the youth intake we brought up a few more players. Umar Chidiabere being the main one that could have a spot in the first team, the others were better than B Team fodder, but probably needed a loan move and that would be what we would try and do next year.

RESULTS

This felt like a much tougher season. We ended up in 9^th place which I am very happy with, however we started the season awfully and were down in the relegation zone. We only won our first game of the season in week 6 of the league, and things would continue to be very rocky for the first 10 games or so but then we beat Sporting at home and from there we found patches of form that kept us far away from relegation concerns all season.

We got a fair few batterings in the league, including once again losing 7-1 to Benfica away and 5-1 at home for good measure.

In the League Cup we made it as far as the Group stage, but only picked up a point, we couldn’t even beat Second Division Anadia at home, so that was little disappointing.

In the Portuguese Cup we got as far as the Fifth Round where were knocked out away to FC Porto. I didn’t mind because it came with a lovely gate receipt and to be fair it only finished 2-1 to them.

In the UEFA Europa Conference League, we were really suffering especially with bad early season form. We narrowly managed to get past Apollon Limassol of Cyprus before eventually succumbing to AZ Alkmaar of The Netherlands due to a disastrous away performance.

We did great this season with the Under 19’s as they won the Southern Section, and qualified for the Championship Group and there we managed to finish in 3^rd place, which is extremely respectable for us.

Season Summary: once again, as expected, we've qualified for the championship group, this time finishing 6th in the regular season, but 5 points behind Asteras Tripolis. It's a disadvantage that would be hard to turn around, as we usually don't accumulate that many points against the big-4. Indeed, we only won one game in the championship group, garnering just 3 out of 30 possible points in this phase, leaving us 12 points behind the spots that grant qualification to European football.

In the cup, we reached the quarter-finals, only to lose to last year's Greek champions and cup winners, PAOK, with an aggregate of 8-1.

Our poor performance in the league, however, was due to the overload of European matches. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. We had an impressive run in the Conference League, overcoming three opponents in the playoffs to reach the group stage, where we managed to secure 7 points and qualify for the next stage. We then faced the Dutch team NEC Nijmegen, who had defeated us in the group stage previously. This time, we were able to win at home and draw away, qualifying for the next round, where we faced last year's finalists, Vitória de Guimarães. We bravely won both games, in Greece and in Portugal, facing Rosenborg in the quarter-finals, again with two wins. It was an amazing run that came to an end in the semi-finals, where we lost to Nice with an aggregate of 9-5. Nice eventually ended up winning the competition, defeating Roma 2-1 in the final. So, if it's any consolation, for the second consecutive year, we got eliminated by the champions of the competition. With 13 goals, Ilias Manafis was the top goalscorer of the competition and was part of the Best XI.

Ilias Manafis 27e, who this year became Kavala's all-time leading goalscorer, now has 85 goals to his name. He was our most prolific in front of goal this year, and Alexandros Toungelidis 25b was once again our most consistent player, with an average rating of 7.04. However, our main star is Efthymis Christou 35c. The 17-year-old won the Gold Boy award and was once again part of the NXGN list of best wonderkids. It'll be hard to convince him to stay with us, as he has already expressed a desire to move to a bigger club.

Financially, things are looking great, due to the sales of two of our best players that we made at the start of the season (Kobosis and Danidis), and with that we were able to expand the stadium built a few years ago to a capacity of around 20k seats and improve our youth recruitment and training facilities, twice. However, without the prize money from European competitions next season and the significant drop in gate receipts, we could be facing hard times in the future, especially since we still have to pay off our bank loans taken to build the stadium and now for the expansion: 300k + 100k a month.

Youth intake: a very promising intake, with a few players showing huge potential, as Makis Topouzis 37a, Antonis Varlamis 37b, Igli Torra 37c, Tryfonas Synodinos 37d, Rafail Mantalos 37e, Dimitris Festeridis 37f and Makis Tyflidis 37g. This shows that our investment in the infrastructure is paying off. And once again, for the fourth year in a row, our U19 team became Greek champions.

Season Summary

Great season! The change of tactics paid off this season. We managed to get 58 points, a 9th position in the league, and thus in the end qualification to continental football after the summer break.

We also had a very great FA Cup run, but in the end, we lost 3-2 to Man City in the final.

As a result of the tactical change, the team does not score that much anymore. We only scored 55 league goals compared to 63-78 in the last 3 seasons. Thus my offensive players don't have the same high ratings and stats. However, my first-choice striker Jamerson scored 15 goals.

However, the defense was much more solid. We only conceded 49 league goals compared to 77-97 in the last 3 seasons. A massive improvement. But strangely, me goalkeeper dropped in his average rating.

It was great to see the NXGN list this season. I had 4 players on the list. None of them are top-rated but they are also young and haven't had their breakthrough on the first team. Hopefully, they will get lots more first-team game time in the next season in the European Conference League.

The young players on the NXGN list already have experience with continental football as the under-18 team won the UEFA Youth League.

The youth intake preview was great. 5 stars and an A and a B's.

The actual intake was okay. 2 elite talents, but the personalities are a bit disappointing.

I had no transfers of significance this season, only a few loan-outs.

Finances and Upgrades

I do not have the option to ask for any more facility upgrades. However, after the season the board announced to expand the stadium with MASSIVELY 323 seats...

Next season
Next season, I hope to give young talented players more game time in the Conference League. And hopefully, get another mid-table position in the Premier League.

Brora Rangers – Season 20 (2043/44)

League Very dominant in the league, and managed to win the Scottish cup too.

Europe Another good campaign (yes, I have no idea what happened away at PSG), but we fell to an English team again, this time Man Utd in the quarters. We did take them to extra time however.

Players Tom Thomas 07a (AML/ST) had a great season in the supporting striker role, with double figures for both goals and assists, and Andy Morton 17a (AMRLC) won the NxGN and is fast becoming one of our best players, so I made sure to tie him to a long contract while I can.

Youth intake (preview) Looks like we have a potential superstar in Gary Fyffe 20a (ST) - he’s touted as the next Joe Jordan and based on his stats I kind-of agree. I hope we do get some defenders at some point, though - maybe next year…

INTERNAL MATTERS

We got the club to agree to improve both the training and youth facilities in the pre-season. They will cost £1.8m and £2m respectively.

This year we were allowed to study for our Continental A Licence.

In October we moved into our new stadium. The Electrico Stadium, which has a capacity of 9,833 people.

At the end of October we signed a new 4 year deal with the club.

PLAYER MOVEMENTS

Up to the main at the start of the season came Pedro Silva and Pedro Paulo.

Some of the youngsters in the first team we worked to get them out on loan to Campeonato de Portugal sides.

We let Vitor Ferreira leave to FC Porto on a free transfer. The guy was fringe player at our club and did not seem to have any potential left to fulfil so I would be surprised if it benefitted FC Porto.

A notable player to be released this year was Raphael Le Quellec, who was a bit of a cult hero with us going up the leagues. He just wasn't good enough anymore but I quite wanted to keep him with us, unfortunately he would not back down from believing he was still a star player and wanted a decent salary, so we had to say goodbye. He is plying his trade at Cova de Piedade now still in Portugal.

Over the summer AC Milan tried twice to get Fabio Leite, and went as far as £9.5m, but we are holding out for £11.5m as agreed with the player or instead to keep him if possible.

Diogo Jorge who has been with us since the start of the game, came to me wanting to leave and I don’t really need him much anymore. So, we agreed a £7.25k deal for him to leave the club. He leaves the club as the top appearance maker with 232 league appearances.

At the end of the January transfer window, AC Milan came in with a release clause matching £2.3m bid for Ivan Monteiro, which unfortunately would mean he would leave. They were gracious enough to allow him to remain on loan for the remainder of the season. However, after re-reading the rules of the challenge, I believe it is possible this would contravene the rules of the challenge, since it explicitly said that you could not loan a player even as part of a sale. So, I assume this refers and rules out loan backs, therefore we rejected the loan back. A shame to lose him but I knew it was going to happen and we kind of need the money. With the departure of Ivan Monteiro we called up Hugo Barradas from the Under 19s who was due to come up anyway next year.

On Deadline day we had a structured offer for about £5m for Carmelo from Juventus, but we negotiated it £20m plus add ons and they walked away from the deal.

We decided to renew some new deals. We were forced into including a £9.5m release clause for Fabio Leite. In a later contract the same season we would raise this to £10.5m

After the youth intake we brought up Joao Silva and Rui Vallejo. A little bit later we brought up Diogo Sebastiao as well.

Some moves at the end of the season saw Ricardo Fernandes, the golden boy of the team, now really only a B Team talent so we sent him over there. Bruno Reia who played a fair few games for us in the past also now moves across to the B Team. Finally Rui Costa, the elder statesman of the team, needed to move on from the team and he joins the B Team.

RESULTS

We started the season well win a great August to set us on our way. For the majority of the season it looked like we might push to the Europa Conference League place, but a really bad finish compounded by the fact we had to play Benfica, Porto, Braga and Sporting back to back meant that we ended up one position better this season that last season in 8^th place.

UNDER 19s

It was a brilliant season for the Under 19s. As they blew away the Southern League winning it by a landslide, and then the followed up winning the National Championship. Our first Juniors National Championship and a great achievement for the boys. Perhaps it is a sign that we are now the best youth side in the country.

We started off with 15 points out of the first 10 games, nicely running along 4th place and things looking good.

Then, all of a sudden, things turned to sh*t. We were not being outplayed a lot, we just stopped scoring and wingers kept dropping out of form.

We qualified for the playoffs by one goal and stayed up because we played a jaded EIF. We need to change some stuff around and most of all: a new playing style. With so many good wingers and 3 or 4 good strikers, we have to look for ways to make room for our most talented players.

Squad

We are getting a little top-heavy. While Miftari and Syrjä have been staples of the squad for years and are good enough for this level, they are going to be surpassed by Filankembo and Kokkonen soon.

Ahonen had a decent first year. He's not too special going forward but if we have to build a new tactic, we can surely work with what he does have.

Kuittinen kept doing what he does, even in the PL he scored double figures.

Tiihonen debuted this year as the starting striker and did well.

Season 52 - 2075/76 - SBC

Absolutely terrible start to the season and sat bottom of the league in October

With the end of last season and beginning of this, took 16 games for our first win :eek:

We managed to turn the form around second half of the season and finished a respectable 11th

We got the Semi Final of the FA Cup, lost to Man Utd.

But there is hope. We will be moving out of our local rivals 500 capacity training ground and into a 6k seater stadium at the start of next season. Just hoping the rent doesn't break us!

RESULTS

Wow what a season it was for us. We were very weird this season in that we only drew two games all season and we lost plenty, but we also won plenty more. We were flying as high as second place for a little while until eventually we would come a little down the table but we would finish comfortably in fourth place in the league and that qualifies us for Europa League football next season.

The cups saw us exit at the Group Stage in the League Cup and in the 4^th Round against FC Porto in the Portuguese Cup.

UNDER 19s

The under 19s smashed it this year and I mean really smashed it, they went undefeated in the Southern League, drawing only two, and then won every single game of the Championship Group to win a Second National title in a row.

We lost our best player at the beginning of the season because during the contract discussion he didn't want to accept that i can't strenghten the midfield and i didn't want to lose the dressing room at the beginning of the season with a failed promise. It was locked during the contract discussion, I've very rarely seen this before.
At the beginning of the season we won the first 5 matches out of 6 and then the other team leader came with the lack of goalkeepers. I made a promise that i will develop a young goalkeeper but our regen goalkeeper from the holiday season is soooo trash so i realised i won't able to complete the promise and he waited all season long with the supporting of 5-6 highly influental players ( while morales were capped on "good") and fortunately at the end of the season he let it go and no more unhappy but i have strong feelings that it will happen again a couple of days before deadline day.

I noticed that all players from the youth intake (even those who are from the holiday season 2024) are on "low" fatigue level. They are on holiday now, but they still not regenerating to "fresh" level. I also tried to give them rest but that didn't work either. The rest of the team who are real players can recover to "fresh" state, even if they are young too.

Is this a bug or is it something that they are young and don't have the physical skills yet and thats the reason why they are always on "low" fatigue level. If so, when can i expect that they will be "fresh"? And if it is a bug, how can it be fixed?

Going into the final match of the season, 3 points from safety, we needed to win and for the team above us, Ægir, to lose.

And that’s exactly what happened.

The great escape. It didn’t seem that impossible given that we’d improved the last few matches, were playing a poor side, whilst Ægir had a tough fixture. We dominated our match and went in 2-0 at half time, whereas Ægir were 2-0 down. But then Ægir scored a goal and all I could do was look at the box fearing they’d score a 2^nd and draw.

Still, quite a relief. I did think my goose was cooked near the end of the season. I haven’t even looked at the youth intake or set up their training. I just gave them contracts, thinking it was meaningless.

So, given that we reached the playoffs last season, and had new players and a wider choice, how did it all go wrong?

Well, the big thing is that the first proper match of the season, (I regard the league cup campaign as pre season friendlies) we were knocked out of the cup by a non-league team, but even worse, my most important player, Luke Williams, tore his ACL and was out for the season, or as it turned out forever, because he retired mid-season.

There were other injuries. We don’t have an U19 team. Once the team started losing, (9 in a row which in a 22 match season isn’t great), we couldn’t stop. 6 of the first XI are 20 or under.

More than anything though, we’re just not very good. Last season was the outlier, not this one. I may well be in a relegation battle next season as well.

Youth Intake.

I know that people usually single out players from the intake, but at this early stage where half the intake come with 5 star potential, it’s hard to know what I’ve got. I’ll report on them after 5 seasons.

I offered a contract to everyone. With no youth or B team, most of my players get no match practice other than pre-season friendlies. I can send them on loan to an U19 team shared by us and 3 other teams,

but they don’t get any matches there. So, my squad is going to be way too large. I’m going to have to try to get someone to take them on loan.

I have 2 very good strikers. I prefer to only play with 1 striker, but I’ve had to adjust my selection to use both of them. They may be good, but they can’t do much without service. 239 and 309 minutes per goal.

Highest Average Rating (minimum 10 matches played) – Björn Óli Snorrason – 7.01

Right winger only started 7 matches, and isn’t a preferred starter, but the sub appearances got him over the eligibility line.

According to my coach, my goalie’s my best player.

2 of my best players are out of contract soon, and won’t sign a new one yet because it would be for less money. Hopefully they do want to stay though. Nobody else has come in for them.

I'm not an expert on this, but it could be the training load, for example, double intensity and individual focus, along side with the U19 games.
The fact that they're on holidays may not refresh them, and it's only when they return to training, with rest, that they recover.

Season 2025/26 Review - Vanarama National League

League - On paper an 11th placed finish after promotion is good. In fact it's very good, and it is but I just can't escape the feeling of "what if?" as our small squad really caught up with us in the end as we failed to win any of our final 10 games to drop right away. As you can see. I ran my players into the ground simply as our young players, especially in defence, were just not ready this season. Scoring goals wasn't an issue till the final 10 games, which is a shock as our strikers are poor, but Callum Gribbin has been the man. I play him as a Mezz on attack and he has 53 goals in 93 games. I worry he won't keep it up next season, he does take free kicks and pens (and we've had a lot of pens these 2 seasons which helps) but not sure that totally explains his form. It's our back line that is causing us issues. We had the 4th worst defence this season with 84 goals conceded, our defenders are just not good, it's that simple. Losing the only senior (at 21) GK for 6/7 weeks didn't help but in most games we needed to score 2 goals just to get a point and that's just not sustainable.

FA Cup - Awful, lost to a side in the league below at the first hurdle. After last season's cup fun this was a major let down.

FA Trophy - Bit better here, we won a couple games but lost to a side who were top of our league at the time (they had a worse run in than us I think and blew the title to finish 4th and then messed up at the first hurdle of playoffs)

Transfers - Just the one out but we will be losing star boy Scott McStravick. When he came through in the holiday season the AI gave him his pro deal but the stupid idiots only gave him a 1 year deal and, despite me asking at least 50 times this season, he doesn't think we're good enough for him. Ungrateful little git :mad:

Finances - Really really good, over 1m in the bank and have had a couple upgrades in the Junior Recruitment this season. I'm trying something new with this team and focusing on recruitment first and pairing that with HOYD with good professionalism (which is why I'm about to be on my 2rd HOYD in 3 seasons as I now have one that is Resolute and plays my formation) in order to boost my intakes. No idea if it'll work but it's fun to try.

Youth Intake - The preview was good and it turned out to be a decent one I think

Joshua Kelly 26A - a striker! I like the look of him and he's already come off the bench twice in the league
Jorge Drinkwater 26B - another striker and what a name. I actually think he'll be better as a Mezz in my team than a striker
Terell Thomas 26C - a good looking left winger
Jonathan Ennis 26D - a left back, an area we have struggled so nice to get one through

- When they spawned into the save they were already on low fatigue level. The 2024's Youth candidates are on low fatigue level for one and a half year in addition to the fact that some of them didn't play a single match so i think the long summer holiday also doesn't solve this problem.

- It is not caused by the training intensity because i tried to solve it with totally zero traning, i tried to send them on holiday or just rest them 8 weeks etc..., i tried everything but they are stucked for some reason on low fatigue

So i don't know what is it exactly I don't know if this is a bug or just something which comes from young age and will be resolved when they will be older and will have better phisycal skills.

- First day of pre-season, you can see that the "real" players are FRESH but the regens are on LOW fatigue

We improve one spot and finished 4rd and qualify for Champions League football for the first time. As you can see our defense is a huge problem, conceding 52 goals, which makes it near impossible to compete with the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid.

An amazing preview with loads of A's piqued my interest. The actual intake looks unimpressive based on the stars, but is actually our best in terms of average CA. At this point of the save a 5 star PA would imply a star La Liga player, so it's normal they would be rather rare. It's nice to see some different nationalities. We get two Belgians due to our affiliation with Beerschot and a Dutchman due to our affiliation with ADO Den Haag. The Italian could be because of our Italian HOYD.

This came out of left field. Atletico Madrid matched the release clause of our starting goalkeeper so we had to let him go. They paid 50 Million and... put him on their bench for the entire season!

Jan Catala unfortunately left us, which means Emili had to take over. Once upon a time I would have thought he was the more talented one, but it seems he won't improve beyond a decent first division player. Robert Pujadas had a banger of a season with 30 goal contributions from midfield. Henry Ike made it on our Best XI, despite not being a regular starter for us. I rejected a bid from Barcelona for Jose Manuel, which made him upset. He has a promise he can leave if someone matches his release clause, which happily hasn't happened yet.

The intake gave us our star player Jose Manuel and that in itself made it a good intake. Jan Rosanas is also marked as a Wonderkid and divides his time between CB and DM. As was expected the top rated prospect with a bad personality never developed. Ricardo Gomez still has a 4.5 star PA, but his personality might keep him down. Let's see if we can mentor him a bit instead of going out on loan.

Our first season in the CL. I doubt we can win it at this stage. I feel we have plenty of talent upfront, but lack a bit of talent at the back to allow us to compete with the best teams in Spain. Either way, we're not yet abandoning this save!

Season Review 2026/27 (Season 3)

League

Predicted to finish 9th and avoid relegation, we managed to do so much more. After a shaky start to the year where we hadn't wont a game in the first 10, we found our groove in the middle part of the year and put together a run that saw us fly up the table and be as high as third at one point. Unfortunately our lack of depth and lack of class saw us fall away towards the end of the season, finishing in 5th position. Due to the league improving it's reputation, this meant we had qualified for the Europa Conference League which is exciting. Hopefully from this we can make a little bit of money to finance some upgrades.

RESULTS

My assumption going in as that we can always drop back down the table, because player for player we are not as good as the other teams, however this teams continues to defy might worst fears, as we did amazingly this season. We would go 21 games undefeated in all competitions after a few losses in the early season, and that would only end to the last team who beat us before the run started in Benfica, and it was a heavy loss as well 6-1 away. In the end we were in a battle with Sporting for the final Champions League spot and despite stuttering a little towards the end of the season was managed to hold our nerve and bag 3^rd position.

In the League Cup we would for the first time make it out of the group and fall at the semi final stage to FC Porto

In the Portuguese Cup we would make it to the semi final stage and lose over two legs to Benfica

In the Europa League we were magnificent, finishing in second place in the league phase, before knocking out PSV Eindhoven at the Last 16 stage, Feyenoord at the Quarter Final stage before losing to Tottenham over two legs in the semi final.

An amazing season all told. For the first time in a while the bookies don’t us expected to finish dead last. The team is beginning to improve and so we are now hopefully becoming a major force in Portuguese football.

UNDER 19s

The made it three in a row quite easily as they won another National Championship.

The aim was to stay up and somehow we did it. we had an ok start, winning the odd game here and there to go mid-table. Then December came, we lost to the teams in 15th and 16th and also went out the cup to the team bottom of the third division. From then on it was a struggle and it was only a couple of lucky results that managed to get us 12th, and out of the relegation group

So we went into the middle group, meaning whatever happened we'd be safe. Which was lucky, as we didn't win one of those 10 games. All in allm out last 30 games returned a measly 3 victories - keep that up and next season will be a disaster!

Top Scorer: Leandro de Pauw 26C - 13 goals in 28 games

Difficult season for our top striker where he missed the last two months due to injury. Still by far our most potent threat up front.

Player of the Season: Adam Vandenheede 30C (7.15 AR in 24 games)

I was getting desperate so gave the lad a chance. He doesn't look much, attribute wise, but his physicals are really strong. Plays as a pressing forward and managed 11 goals as well. Very interesting to see how he might develop

Youth

A very nice preview and intake again! Belgium is a disaster zone in relation to finances but a lot of fun with the intakes

best prospect looks this fella here. I think I'm gonna retrain him as either an MC or striker - not sure which yet

Unbelievably, the board allowed me a couple of upgrades this season! Its so important I stay up in the Pro League

Season Summary: After finishing 6th last year, this time, with a much more flexible calendar, we were able to achieve our best finish ever. We ended the regular season in 3rd place, just behind PAOK and Olympiacos, and in a good position to secure European spots. We also achieved our best record in the championship phase, winning 3 matches and drawing 2 out of 10, including a last-day victory away at AEK, which propelled us to 4th place and secured qualification to the Europa League for the first time ever. Additionally, we registered the best attack in the league with 88 goals scored.

In the Greek Cup, we suffered a disappointing elimination to Larisa from Super League 2.

We didn't have any major sales this year, and with the loans we took to build the stadium and the recent expansion, our finances are currently in danger. Moreover, we invested 4.3 million this year in the training facilities. Consequently, we'll likely have to sell next year, and it's probable that we'll have to bid farewell to our most promising star, Efthymis Christou. The 18-year-old was our player with the highest average rating this season (7.31) and was named the most promising wonderkid, according to the NXGN 2038 list, after finishing 3rd twice and winning the Golden Boy award last year. The left-back also received the Talent of the Year award for the best youth player in the league, followed by Alexandros Donis in second place. Additionally, Christou won the Greek Player of the Year award. This year, we witnessed some changes in the team; Ilias Manafis, who became Kavala's top goalscorer last season, lost his place in the starting eleven, making way for Christos Omiridis, who was our top goalscorer this year with 19 goals, 17 of which were in the league, earning him the Top Goalscorer award in the Super League. Both Omiridis and Christou were part of the Best XI in Greece. For the fourth time, I secured the second place in the Manager of the Year award...

With this record-breaking season, our reputation has improved, and we are now the 5th best team in Greece, only behind the 'Big-4', PAOK, Olympiacos, AEK, and Panathinaikos.

Youth intake: Despite the financial challenges, our continued investment in facilities has yielded promising results in our youth intake. We have produced several players with potential, such as Periklis Lefis 38a, Leonidas Mirkou 38b, Ioannis Karypidis 38c, Kostas Stergianos 38d and Avraam Kouroupis 38e, and our U19 team clinched their 5th consecutive league title, this time with an impressive record of 26 wins out of 26 games.

SV Meppen 1° Season 3.Liga 24/25

My adventure with the Islanders begins in the third division of German football. This is the second time I've tried this challenge. Let's see how it ends...

Meppen is a city of 35,000 inhabitants located in the state of Lower Saxony, near the border with the Netherlands.

For most of its history, the city team has played in lower divisions. However, they achieved promotion to the 2.bundesliga in the 1986-87 season, they remained there for 11 seasons without achieving promotion until they were finally relegated in the 97-98 season.

Here is the club profile and the manager's profile, The first was a quiet season, at the top of the table, although far from the promotion positions, which I think is good for the moment, We do not participate in the cup. The juniors arrived in August.

The best of the bunch (contrary to what my scouts said) was Lars Reimann, an RB who I think can be useful in the future.

Following the rules of the challenge, I did not sign anyone

It was going well, until it wasnt.

Season two was tough, no money, couldnt go full time so ended up playing with youth players and non-players as I didnt have enough for most of the season due to injury and fatigue. Fitness was a real problem.

My three best players all want to leave following relegation.

About to start season 3...if they dont sack me immediately

Season 56 - 2079/80 - EPL

Well, as the screenshots above show, we really struggled. Nearly got the sack!

In fact it was a complete embarrassment and broke every record going (not in a good way)

If people remember that Derby side that got relegated from the PL in the 00s, well we were worse than that.............................

Finished with 9 points! ONE win

We broke the following PL records, lowest goals scored and lowest points!

The board now want me to try stay up in the Championship, so hopefully that will keep us in the job...................
