glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 7 - End of Year Review - More Regression This season was not a pretty one. I think big clubs are starting to realize that they can poach our players for a pittance and make them unhappy enough to demand to move. We have had ALOT of bids. I am trying to only sell if I HAVE to, but it did cause morale problems throughout the season, which we are not used to. We ended the season with 9 games without a win and 5 straight losses. Tried changing formation and a few other things (meetings, rotating players, promoting high performing U18s etc.) Nothing worked. As posted previously, our best CB Zvonko Kovacevic (YP04B) is leaving, so we will need to promote one of the few CBs we have available into the first team next season. League - 17th The Squad Some decent performances, especially from Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) who filled the big shoes of Jamie Herd (YP01A) very well indeed and even picked up the Top Goalscorer award for the division. Big Zvonko will be a big loss! Simon Korhonen (YP02H) is still defying the odds and his potential (which is only 3* according to my coaches) to be one of my most consistent and strongest performers in the middle. Gary Brough (YP03A) has nailed down the AMR role, but is injury prone and has had a rough end to the season. Record Breakers & Accolades Really nothing to get excited about this season. Finances & Upgrades Our Finances are looking really healthy with the sale of Zvonko which in turn led to some upgrades. The Youth Level moving up should continue to improve our already impressive Youth Set Up. Another Sale & Another Upgrade I went through some of pre-season and as expected Richard Owens (YP05A) got a lot of bids and really couldn't refuse the 900k from Bournemouth. To be honest, he really wasn't performing up to the standard that his attributes showed. So all in all, this one is not as big of a loss as Herd or Zvonko. It helped to know that the Richard Owens training center was commissioned as soon as he left The Future Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) already has a number of clubs sniffing around, but I am determined to keep him. I added a 3 year optional contract extension in his contract and I think I am going to roll with the unhappiness that he may cause. I need to keep these kind of players to ensure we get up to the Sky Bet Leagues. Even with just under 2 million in the bank, my board refuses to go professional. We are one of 4 clubs in the league who are still semi-pro. I think we need to go pro to really make a go of improving our youth to their fullest potential and to get up the leagues. Daddy
Midtable Update: Started off doing well, but lately have been in a slump. I think the results from the Champions League is hurting morale. Champions League Update: It was a tough group, but that was fairly demoralizing. No expectations winning or even finishing 3rd, but I was hoping to not get crushed like this. I didn't think we were close, but I didn't think we were this far. All done with Europe Competitions now so can focus on league. Intake Preview: Wide Midfielders and DM are two positions I don't use. Hopefully they're good retraining candidates.

DazRTaylor
End of Season Season 2030 Ungmennafélagið Máni Season Summary A repeat of our best ever league finish, together with a good cup run and our youth academy being set up, means this was easily our best season to date. Season Details League Table - Finishing fourth is terrific, though I cannot help but feel it could of been even better had we maintained our form in the second half of the campaign. League Fixtures - At the halfway stage, we were top though our form declined in the second half. Mjókurbikur - An exceptional win over second tier side Haukar in the second round set up a clash with Icelandic giants Valur in round three. We played well enough and didn't disgrace ourselves in only losing by three goals to one. Friendlies - One win and two draws represent our best ever pre season campaign. Squad - We finally have a squad! Squad Dynamics - All of the players love each other. It is marvellous. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - Our intake was great though they arrived after the season ended so have been unable to make their debuts thus far. Central midfielder Milija Marić YP30B2 is the clear standout player. Finances - We lost money this season though that is due to finally setting up a youth academy. Key Players Arnar Freyr Bjarnason - It was another reliable campaign from our goalkeeper. Þorgeir Guðmundsson - Our right winger had some discipline issues this year. I expect more from him. Milija Marić YP30B2 - Yet to make his debut, the central midfielder will be a star next year. Atli Freyr Sigurðsson YP30C3 - The striker is rated highly though he can't finish. Time will tell how good he can be for us. Davið Örn Andrésson YP30L12 - Comfortable on either wing, the youngster should be an autmatic starter next season. Next Season A repeat of our mid table finish would be just fine. SkiIIs
Season 2026/27 - Vanarama National League Our fourth season in the VNL and we started off with a bang! We won the first 4 games and by 11 games in we were sitting 1st with 9 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. We then didnt win a game in the next 11 as reality sunk! At that point it was bleed in more youth and consolidate the remainder of the season which we did. We only have 3 legacy players in the starting line up so making decent progress. Next season i wishful that we can continue the form from the first 11 games but we'll see. Managed to get more upgrades later in the season, but we may have gone a little too hard too early as post the upgrades we were making a 90k loss per month. I fear we need to get promoted next season to keep our key players and maintain the level of facilities we have. Board in their mission wanted to expand the stadium, they thought it was a good idea to spend money we dont have on an additional 500 seats. Last 1000 seat upgrade only cost us 100k which makes this one hurt more My first YI under the new HOYD and upgraded facilities came out ok, but nothing extraordinary

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Folkestone Invicta- Season 2023/24 - Vanarama National League South Squad | Transfers | Finances During the off-season we lost our two best players as they wouldn't sign new contracts, so I had expected this season to be a bit tougher than the last one. However, the team proved me wrong by going ahead an winning a lot of matches from the get go. Just as last season we fought at the top of the table all season long, but this time we finished a fair distance behind a very good Maidstone United. It also seemed the top got more competitive this season as Dulwich Hamlet, Ebbsfllet United, and Wealdstone had strong seasons and all finished ahead of us. Still, a 5th place was enough to secure a playoff spot by a fair margin down. In the first round we beat Dorking without much issue, in the semi final however, things got hairy. We went ahead, then Dulwich Hamet scored two times before we equalized late on to make it a draw and eventually it went to pens. My players kept their composure and scored all 4 they took. Dulwich missed two and it put us into the final. There Ebbsfleet United waited for us. The game started quite even, but we went ahead after just over 20 minutes, but they drew it just before half time. Shortly after the break one of their players lost his head and two-footed one of our players and got sent off. From then on we took control, but struggled to score. It took until the 87th minute before we finally scored and then we just controlled the rest to clinch the promotion! Vanarama National here we come! FA Cup: We beat Cheshunt, Poole Town, and Bath City before we got thumped by Cheltenham in the 1st round.FA Trophy: We beat Basildon and Bath City before we lost to Solihull Moors in the 4th round. Youth intake: Well, the improvements seems to show here! A talented Model Citizen? Count me in! Trophy cabinet N/A

COPA DE BRASIL - WINNERS A fantastic run to the final (with a little bit of luck with the draws, to be honest), where we beat Palmeiras with a goal in the 85th minute of the second leg. First one to the trophy cabinet! Winning also give us acces to Copa Libertadores next season. SERIE A Record for highest points in top tier, step by step we are getting closer to top teams. Still far title battle, tough. COPA SUDAMERICANA We had a good option to win our first Continental trophy, but Brusque knocked us out at the Semifinals CAMPEONATO DE ALAGOAS Another win, 7th in a row CAMPEONATO NORDESTE Shamefully beaten at the second preliminary round TOP RATED PLAYER - José Ivan 5A (7,50) TOP GOALSCORER - Ramiro da Cruz 5C (20) YOUTH INTAKE Not really excited about this year intake. Popular Post SuperRedditch
The Spartans Season 8 - 2029/30 Scottish Premiership - 4th Place A steady improvement over last season; we were outclassed by the top teams less often and were far more consistent against the bottom half. Indeed, we made 4th place very much our own; never threatening the top 3 but also creating a sizable gap between us and 5th place. We've gone full circle tactically, and eventually settled on a 4-4-2 that I think I'll use going forward. We're just a couple of Wingers away from a really well balanced squad. We reinvested the Donald 05c money into two increases to both Training and Youth Facilities. As for Europe? Well, we eased through the Conference League 2nd & 3rd Qualifying Rounds with aplomb. Our 4th round draw was distinctly difficult and cruel, however; requiring us to navigate past Portuguese side Famalicao to make it to the group stage... Alas, 'twas not to be. It was this match that convinced me to swap my 4-1-3-2 to a 4-4-2. We also made it to the Betfred Cup Semi Final, disappointingly getting knocked out by Aberdeen in a game we should have won. The Squad Everyone is still here, although Cormack 05a and Cepkauskas 05b are wanted by bigger clubs and ask to leave every 3 months. A quick word from captain McCutcheon 00a sets them right every time. I activated their 3 year contract extensions so they ain't going anywhere any time soon. Deividas Cepkauskas 05b - ST - Goal a game man. Has surpassed his strike partner McLelland 04a in every way. Bryan Parker 06a - MC - Ends up filling in at ML a lot of the time, but I feel bad for being disappointed when he came through the intake. Very solid all-round game. Ali Underhill 07c - DC - Kinda slept on him when he came through the intake, but his transfer value makes me believe he has some serious potential. Finances Transfers Youth Intake Come on, game. Still no wingers. We got a GK though, which I do need and have been baited by a couple of times in the preview. This time, we might be in luck. In fact, the lads tagged a - c all might make first team players. Although, it's my 3rd promising DR in 3 years. And yes, my HoYD's favoured formation has wide players, it's Sunil Chhetri who likes 4-4-2. Sean Wright 08a - GK - Fantastic personality, although he's got a ways to go in terms of ability. Still been playing him though, that's how badly I've needed a GK for the last couple of seasons. Callum Smith 08b - ST - Personality changed from Mercenary to Balanced within a couple of weeks, so hopefully the squad is having a positive effect on him. Really high transfer value for a 16 year old and finally offers back up in attack (that isn't a League One standard Target Forward). Next Season Make the Conference League group stage! Maintain top 5 finish. Sell soul to devil in order to get wingers/wide midfielders in intake.

Hence starting the season back where you began with a 1.5 star teenager. Ive got 2x 4.5 star players that have contracts ending this year and they refuse to resign... glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 8 - Youth Intake Preview & Random Updates The start of this season has been pretty good. We have been doing well in the league, and I usually don't update the FA Trophy, as we purposefully play our 2nd string team (not interested and don't want the extra games), but so far we are doing really well in that competition too. Dale-Watson Rimmington (YP07E) has impressed enough in the FA Trophy to become a regular bench (or just outside the match day squad) player, and is also breaking records for youngest scorer. Also Ollie Pearce (legacy player) has decided he is retiring from Sky Bet League Two football......BUT we don't play in League Two, so who knows what will happen here (he is now my 3rd choice striker and has been declining rapidly). Youth Intake Preview Another good preview, which keeps me hopeful that we will continually get good Youth Intakes come march. Interesting to see that we have a combined 7 (yes SEVEN) AMC/ST youth players coming through. Hopefully some good ones as Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) has had bids pretty much every other day during both the summer and the winter (I am slightly ahead in game time) transfer windows. This is no surprise as he is now touted as a potential Sky Bet Championship Player!
glennuk
Question for those with more experience than me. Is it worth getting an U23 team (I have a first team and U18 (which is bloated with players)). I understand that the U23 team will be extra costs for staff, but is it a big extra cost apart from the few coaches etc that have to be hired? I think my first team usually has around 20-24 players in it, but my U18 is usually around 30-36. Having 22 in the first team and 18 each in the U23/U18 team would probably be more ideal, but not sure if the cost is worth it (or if my U23s will get put in the league). I haven't requested it yet, but do have the option (and my bank balance is very high for a National league team)

Everything I've ever seen has said at 18 the players need game time. I'd rather have them in house where I control the training and facilities over a loan. Plus you can always move them to senior squad if needed for injuries etc and then move them back down. Just my thoughts. Others may know more.
glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 8 - Youth Intake..Guess What....yes ANOTHER Golden Generation Having a golden generation every year is interesting. I see the potential in this group more than some of the others, but I still don't know if something is messed up and I will always get a Golden Generation whether it is actually one or not. I am happy again with some mixed nationalities in here. I think Kevin Spong (YP08C) will be a full national before too long, assuming he reaches his potential. The personalities are better this year but we have some bad personalities on our better prospects. Also I have never seen Easily Discouraged before :/ Top 3 - Youth Intake 8 Ricky Petrovic (YP08A) - He looks like a good player, but I am going to try to retrain him as a Central Midfielder. His Low Determination does bother me and although the physicals are slightly concerning, these seem to be the attributes that improve the quickest on the Youth Players. I have occasionally swapped from my 4-3-3 DM Wide, and moved the DM to an AMC (especially when losing or pushing for a winning goal), so Ricky may be that player who can come off the bench and push for a goal. James Chapman (YP08B) - A better personality and some decent physical stats to start, make Chapman (nicknamed Champ Man )a decent prospect. Basically comes in as my second best striker in terms of stats and may well be someone who could come off the bench to end the season and also throughout next season. Kevin Spong (YP08C) - Excited to have an Afghan in the team and sure he will break into the national side in due time. I actually really need good CBs so this is a perfect time for Spong to come in. Obviously another bad personality, but apart from that I like the Mentals a lot and he has okay starting stats. He will need to train up some more, but perhaps next season he can come in and do a job off the bench at CB or even at CDM. Lea Sills (YP08D) - Okay so I gave you a fourth player. The driven personality almost made him my C (3rd best) player, but I like my LB to overlap and cross and the 5 in crossing is a bit frustrating. I hope he can improve on this as well as his general defending and strength. The interesting thing is my first and second choice LB have been subject to a number of bids, so if I can't keep them both Lea could find himself in the first team squad pretty quickly indeed.

DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2031 Ungmennafélagið Máni The preview didn't fill me with confidence: I need not have worried as the intake was much better than expected.
DazRTaylor
End of Season Season 2031 Ungmennafélagið Máni Season Summary A good season overall, though going into August, it could of been so much better. Season Details League Table - We were in the top three going into the final month of the season but suspensions caught up with us and we had to settle for sixth place finish. League Fixtures - August was brutal, otherwise it was a good campaign. Mjókurbikur - We have to be pleased in reaching the third round. It is just disappointing to play so poorly in losing away to third tier outfit Víkingur Ó. Friendlies - Two wins represents a fine pre season campaign by our standards. Squad - We have depth though the youth intake haven't been added to the squad yet as they have only just arrived. Squad Dynamics - Team cohesion is once again a big issue. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - It was another exceptional intake, with left winger Ólafur T. Ólafsson YP31E21 looking particularly good. Finances - ANother small profit was made, despite spending money on improving the academy. Key Players Arnar Freyr Bjarnason - Our goalkeeper was once again very reliable. Milija Marić YP30B2 - Playing in central midfield, he had a terrific debut season with us. Barði P. Hallgrímsson YP30N14 - A key component of our 4-51 system, the defensive midfielder was argualy our best player this year. Þór Jónsson YP3030D4 - It was a fine campaign from our central midfielder. Aleksandar Latinović YP30I9 - The centre half far exceeded my expectations this year and was our best defender. Next Season I would love to push for a promotion playoff place. iamnobody
Is there a general idea of the cost of the different upgrades to Youth Recruitment, Youth Facilities...etc? I'm playing a test game in the 3rd division of Brazil and i asked for an upgrade to Youth Facilities and I was surprised to find out it costs $450,000. Popular Post libbyshuss
Argentina Premier League 2032 (season 11) Season Summary Another pretty good season but again not quite good enough to challenge for the title. But as long as I finish top 6 and qualify for the Copa Libertadores then we should do alright. That's where all the money is! Copa Libertadores A really good campaign this year. We got a relatively easy group with Bragantino, Indepeniente del Valle of Ecuador and Deportivo La Guaira of Venezuela. No slip ups in the group stage this time and we got through relatively easily Once you're through the group stages the money rolls. in. Each round is worth at least £1m! First round was against Corinthians of Brazil, and we were brilliant! Second round was against fellow Argeninian side Velez, and they did us again. But QF is not bad! Players A young team again as we said goodbye to a couple of first teamers during the close season. Again it was the defence that stood out. Not sure why, it's an attacking tactic I use, but defenders always do well in it. Especially Mauro Gimenez 25B. He's only rated as a good premier league player by our coaches, but he plays like a star We could really do with some new full backs though Finances and Upgrades So we had a few contract problems at the start of the season. Arce 25B would only sign a new contract at 20k, as would Barrientos 25A. The board limited us to only 10k so there was no way I could re-sign them. So I offered them out for sale and.... Best I could do! Every offer was un-negotiable and it was the best one. He did really well at Olympiakos as well - the clause is available to be bought out for 1m already! Barrientos 25A was less successful. I offered him out, got a few takers, he got annoyed with me for offering him out, refused any contract and decided to consider his options at the end of the season instead. And then signed a pre-contract agreement with Independiente, one of our rivals! But we did get around £4m in transfer fees in which meant we could do a bit of upgrading It's a slow process but we're improving! Youth Part of the problem is we still haven't had a wonderkid come through the ranks. It would be a lot easier if we did. This years preview was another pretty good one:- But would it have any wonderkids? Probably not.... even though it promised a golden generation. Pinedo 32A looks good with 2.5 star CA but I'm not convinced. Nice personality though but I will have to try and train him as an AML. i don't use MLs. Popular Post aldojags
Season Review 2025/26 (Season 4 in charge) Lokeren - Belgian 2nd Tier Another frustrating season, where I was top of the league going into the winter break, but somehow conspired to turn all those green win icons, into a ton of orange and red draws and losses, Ended up 5th. Complete collapse. Same thing happened last year, top of the league and then bottled 2nd half of season. Was a difficult year as we flipped back to part time at start of it so I guess 5th was a good result. In terms of squad, a few of the youngsters really stepped up, and by star rating/assistant manager opinion (and mine too probably) our best 3 players are now youth products. Intake was ok, i like the look of this attacking mid and striker. Finances - I'm skint! Hence the move to semi pro. Still losing money hand over fist. Can't get on a coaching course, facilities are going to ruin, it's a little frustrating! Transfers Next season - board want to avoid relegation battle. I just don't know what to do with this, I feel I'm stuck in this loop of not getting anywhere, but I've come this far, 4 season it's worth trying a bit more, seeing someone up the thread doing like 7 years in Iceland before getting youth academy! And I'm moaning about this! Gna stick with it, but I dont see anything other than midtable obscurity for few seasons. I need to settle on a tactic. On Fm22 thus far my best formation by far has been 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond, I cannot get a tune out of a wide player at all in this. And this save is much the same. But when I play narrow I get completely obliterated out wide cos my full backs are dross!
Makoto Nakamura
2030/31 Youth Candidates Terrible personalities and it's worth noting that we are on YP9 now and other than our goalkeeper no-one from YP3-YP8 has made the team.
Popular Post WhiteCat33
Toni Store Jugglers FC - St Vincent & The Grenadines Season 13 2034/2035 SVG Club Championship Performance League - Champion Cup - Champion NACL Close but no cigar; commentary in spoiler. Spoiler Great Start drawing the Mexican side at home 1-1! Ezra Williams came up big again. Then we got a second home game against the weakest side from Guyana and they got an early red card for taking down my 16-year-old trickster in the box, we convert the penalty and score 3 more goals on them in the first half. Very glad I rotated for the game and rested my starters. 4-0 win. And even bigger Pachuca tied Forge FC! Forge is better than I thought, they have a very strong squad for being in the Canadian premier league. Shawn Stewart picks up a blocked free kick for an easy tap in in the 13’! We are struggling to hold possession though, which is worrying for the style of play we have. And we pay for it with my RB getting burned and an easy pass to their trailing CAM brings it level just before halftime. But 2nd half we come out big with my Mezzala running forward for a go-ahead goal and we hold it there winning 2-1! We then get Alpha again, away this time and have a nice easy victory 4-0. Unfortunately, it fell apart in Mexico where 2 very early errors sealed a 0-2 defeat away. What the hell is it with my defenders giving penalties now, we gave forge one in the first 5 min… Luckily Murray gets a long shot from his sweet spot and equalizes in the 17th min. 63’ they get a player sent off! Can we capitalize? Nope, though we had more chances we draw 1-1. Either way, we weren’t advancing but it was close CCCC - Group Stage Played like defending champions CCC - Knockouts Quarter Final: Spoiler We get a rematch of last year’s final against TLH Rangers (Trinidad & Tobago) as our QF Match. Shawn Stewart showed up today, a nice hit from the top of the box and then he got the header on the back post from my short-throw set piece to get us up 2-0 another goal from our legend Ezra Williams gets us to 3-0. In the home leg it was all our young star Theon Jeffers 12a who they just couldn’t control down the left flank and he put two away so we won 5-1 Agg Semi Final: Spoiler We draw Waterhouse for the Semi. Jamaica time! What’s annoying about this first leg is its right after an international break, and my entire starting XI is out on duty, and this is a real match so I can’t put them to 45 min. At least they have 5 out on duty as well. My defense is all tired, so I’m worried about the end of the game, but we started strong with a classic Williams goal at the 21’ mark. Double subbed my FBs at the 55’ mark as they were both dead tired after playing full 90’ internationally the day before. My CAM pulled of a long DFK goal, which is great to see. In the final seconds Shawn Stewart splits the defenders and gets us a final goal to win 3-0. Game 2 is away. In the first minute we concede a goal on a fast break counter against us. We then have a goal disallowed in the 18’. While we had chances, it wasn’t until the 92’ that we finally got an equalizer to win 4-1 Agg. Final: Spoiler And we are set up for another classic final against AS Capoise! It is off to a horrible start, as they pressure us heavy and get an early header goal. With nothing happening at 60’ it was sub time for my 17 year old sensation and rotation CAM to see if they can jumpstart the offense. Sadly, they can’t and we have just a couple chances we can’t finish and it ends a disappointing 0-1 defeat. I have to say, being the away team against them is awful as they sell out their 12.5k stadium for these matches Matches Spoiler Squad Transfers Youth Academy Youth Intake Preview Youth Intake Youth Intake Squad Not too impressed, here’s the top prospect but he may never play. Got a Model Citizen & Driven lower down, so just need those personalities to roll on the best players. Club Improvements St Vincent National Team They got another shot at the Gold Cup and we sent 11 current players to help plus 3 graduates. They didn't do so hot, but it was a pretty difficult group. Manager Thoughts I'm a season behind, so I'll update on the next one later today. Edited May 18, 2022 by WhiteCat33

Popular Post WhiteCat33
Toni Store Jugglers FC - St Vincent & The Grenadines Season 14 2035/2036 SVG Championship Performance League Champion [we haven't lost a match in 5 years now] Cup Champion [we have only lost once in the cup all save] NACL We had another good, but not good enough run in the NACL. We faced FOrge FC again, but this time it was Houston from the MLS that soundly put us away. The 1-1 tie in Texas was great as well as a demolition 7-1 in Honduras! Commentary in spoiler Spoiler First match is in Honduras, and E Williams gets us a goal in the 22’ on a nice run and dribble around the GK. Unfortunately, they equalize in the 50’, and then they got a penalty in the 75’ to go ahead 2-1. But my sub Striker gets a breakaway and brings us level in the 79’! 2-2. Next we host Forge, and are off to a quick start with a M Murray 08b header goal in the 14’ and that was it, very few highlights in this game. Next Houston, who pull ahead with an early 14’ corner giving them the lead. But we pin them immediately back with a close ranged S Stewart strike in the 16’. However, the goals continue and in the 19’ they get their second goal. We do well in the 2nd half, but give up a dumb penalty to let them get ahead 3-1. And a transition goal makes it 1-4. At least we get lots of Gate Receipts. Forge game wasn’t pretty in Canada as it was 0-0 with plenty of missed chances and then in the 70’ my CB got a straight red. Luckily we had a final sub and so we hunkered and watched a game we were dominating turn into one where we held on for the draw. Next game is Olimpia at home, and we start strong with an early goal by Williams. In the 67’ we doubled the tally with a classic header from Murray. A defensive error by us though negates that goal in the 69’, 2-1 still us. We then repeated the play to Murray’s head to get back our 2 goal lead in the 75’. And we put the game away with a quick flurry of goals. First in the 78’ with a goal from in the 6 yard box by stewart our forward followed by a goal form our CM in the 80’ and then Stewart again in the 82’ and then he completed the hat-trick in the 89’, scoring all 3 in the final 15’ of the match. We win 7-1. Final match home against Houston. We were doing so well and then a run from half field got us by their striker, 0-1. Murray has missed 3 perfect chances; guess he used all his luck last game getting 2 goals and 2 assists. In the final breaths of the game though, our CB McLean gets a header from a corner play to tie it up 1-1 CCC Group Stage Well, our new striker is making his presence felt. 5 goals against AS Samaritaine, who are the hardest competition in the group… He might break some CCC records this campaign. We actually didn’t beat Hope by as much as I expected considering their team is mostly our reject players. We still of course went undefeated. CCC Knockouts Quarter Final: Spoiler we get Waterhouse, so a harder draw compared to what’s available. Went with my 15-year-old as the starting Striker and he delivered a well-placed finish 5’ into the game to get us off on the right foot. He doubled his tally in the 15’ showing his promise in Jamaica. Then we hit them in transition and Theon Jeffers (our trickster AML) gets the final touch past the keeper to make it 3-0 in the 25’. Jeffers then draws a foul in the box setting up Ollivierre to convert a PK to make it 4-0 at the break. They pulled one back in the 67’ where both my CBs were caught sleeping, but that was it for the second half: 4-1. Second leg, we aren’t nearly as dominant at home. We get lucky early with a disallowed goal form Waterhouse, but that luck ends in the 30’ when they get a goal in on us. We still have a 2 goal cushion, but need to take control of the game. McLean our 15-year-old does just that pinging them back with a placed shot in the 35’. He is fired up, as he assists Ollivierre 2 minutes later who made one of those deadly attacking runs from the CM in this years match engine. They had a few more chances, but we held out to win 2-1 and 6-2 Agg. In a surprise TLH Rangers knocked out AS Capoise as you can see the 4 best teams played each other in the QF, and of course we get TLH as our Semi Final Semi Final: Spoiler We host TLH first, and annoyingly my player there on Loan is able to play against us. I’ll have to check the contract. It goes badly and they score a goal in the 34’ minute & 45’ by their Brazilian Thiago. We had a beautiful opportunity off the kickoff but my striker missed the frame entirely. Not a good first half. Thankfully Shawn Stewart gets us a 93’ goal off a long ball so we will enter the 2nd leg at least close to them. What really hurts us for this first game is its right after an international break, so my team was pretty tired. It's worth noting it’s my own fault TLH is as good as they are. Every transfer window I take on trial all the American’s and Brazilians that show up in my scout search without clubs. When I do this, the T&T clubs take notice of them as they have transfer preferences to poach out of St Vincent. Do that every year for the past 10+ years and this happens: Second leg in T&T: We start strong with a corner attempt in the 2’ that bumps out and the resulting play gets Steven Stewart the ball in the box and he finishes bringing the Semi Final level 2-2 Agg. Just five minutes later E Williams hits a cross for a gimmie header goal for Jeffers 12a. Game on! 32’ after a very long back-and-forth highlight S Stewart feeds the ball through to Jeffers who rounds the keeper near post to make it 3-0, 4-2 Agg. Just before halftime 44’, Jeffers gets another this time taking the shot to beat the keeper, 4-0 at the half. Now not to blow it. Quiet 2nd half, which is how I like it until the 83’ where we get tripped in the box and get gifted a penalty that we convert. 5-0, 6-2 Agg: We advance to the final! Final: Spoiler We will be facing Mount Pleasant FC in the Final, who have won it just once in 2028 Yet again we are the away team and have to travel to Jamaica. We’ve played in 6 finals and have only been the home team once, which is annoying. While we had a few good chances in the first half, nothing went in. We really need to make one of them count. No highlights at all from either team in the 2nd half just tons of yellow cards. We go to extra time… Not a single highlight. Penalties it is, and my options aren’t so great Off to a great start 3 for 3, but they are also scoring all of theirs till Price shoots right at our GK! Sadly Williams does exactly the same so we are back to evens until Blazek also gets blocked!. Its all down to my 16-year-old, score and we win; and he scores! We win our second CCC by the skin of our teeth. Matches: Spoiler Squad Key Players: Strikers: Shawn Stewart 09b & Nical McLean 14b - The former is the older consistent player with great mental attributes and low speed with McLean as the potential Advanced Forward I've been waiting for if we can train-up the mentals. Left Attacking Mid: Theon Jeffers 12a & Malcolm Murray 08b - Theon Jeffers 12a already sees himself as too-good for us, luckily when I got him as an intake I got a 3 year + 3 extension contract. Hopefully he will agree to a renewal at some point in the next 3 years. MLS teams have already started sniffing him out as he is almost certainly the highest potential player we've generated. Murray 08b is a versatile midfielder, who does very well as an IW paired with E Williams as his height and long shots sees him score a good number of Williams' crosses. Right Attacking Mid: Ezra Williams 05a - This guy will be on the team till he retires. Basically has all the mental and physical stats you could ask for, but no technicals which is typical for players at this low a level. Center Mid: Cleophys Stewart 04b & Durwin Ollivierre 03a - this CM pair are the oldest starters and Stewart 04b is both our captain and the St Vincent captain. We have a CM out on loan at TLH that potentially will take Ollivierre's spot, but they both deliver well for us in the middle and Ollivierre is our loan competent PK taker. Fullbacks: Raheem Osment 07a & Jason Snagg 07d - I made a good call retraining Osment 07a as a LB, these two came in the same year and are very solid for us on the wings. Sadly they are way better than our CBs, who I won't even bother to put on here as neither are really impressive. Goalkeepers: Macauley Bland 08a & Wendell Hendrickson 03k - Bland 08a is slightly better, though Hendrickson 03k is the mentor and only through his personality has Bland developed at all. Transfers We are sending some players now to T&T on loan, which is awesome as they get to play Professional & get way more first team experience. Youth Academy Youth Intake Preview Youth Intake Youth Intake Squad Here is Nical McLean 14b, who was already introduced above as he is already doing well as a strike option. Excel & Manager Thoughts Excel. Well, we got our CCC trophy back. Basically we have to keep winning it and hoarding our NACL winnings for a few years to hopefully convince the board to go professional. We have 1.4M now, which wasn't enough. Maybe 5M?
Popular Post glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 8 - End of Season Review League - 6th Last game of the season we needed a win to get into the playoffs. We had a good season overall spending the majority of the season in the top 7. Thankfully for us, we beat Torquay and ended up 6th in the league. The playoffs awaited. Playoffs - Round 1 We were never really in the races here. I am unsure if it was a come down from the high of beating torquay in the last game of the season, or if we were tired, either way we looked a shadow of our usual selves. I guess it's yet ANOTHER season in the Vanarama National. The Squad We are almost entirely a youth team now. Cocoracchio and Male (leaving the club) will be replaced next year. Pattenden is the only legacy player who will still be squad rotation for when Stefan Schroder (YP06B) our current first choice AML doesn't perform. Pattenden is certainly more of a threat as a set piece taker, which in this league is a pretty big asset. Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) is amazing, rated as a Sky Bet Championship prospect and wanted/bidded on by so many clubs. Hoping I can keep him or get a ridiculous fee for him. Simon Korhonen (YP02H) continues to defy expectations and his attributes to play superb (ignore the playoff game above) in the middle of the park. Record Breakers & Accolades Another Top Goalscorer award for Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A), 2nd in Manager of the Year for myself and a new contract. Finances and Upgrades We are still doing really well with our finances, consistently improving our sponsorship and ensuring that we are healthy and in the green. My Requests to go professional are still constantly denied. We did however go up a Youth Level, but I missed the news screenshot, but have the board acceptance. The Future I think we are poised to do well and consistently challenge for playoff places in the near future, but I think what would push us over the edge is going Professional. I am hoping to keep as many of my 1st team as possible, but I am prepared for another brutal summer.
Popular Post Daddy
2032 Season Review: Once Europe competitions were over we settled into 2nd place. No one was catching first place this year. Losing our keeper really hurt and we don't have anyone up to standards right now. Our scoring is what kept us afloat led by our American wonderkid, He started making a stink about wanting to leave. Offered him out and got a big bid, he rejected the contract, and then agreed to a new 5 year deal. My senior squad is quite bloated now, so I started selling off some players. The first two on the list weren't my choice, they were release clauses being met. We're loaded with cash and nothing to spend it on. I haven't received a Youth Facilities upgrade in a while. Stadium is maxed out. Since it can't upgrade and the field condition is "very Poor", and it won't give me option to do anything, I ask for a new stadium every chance I get. We sell out regularly, so I think it could come soon. Youth Intake: Hoping the goalie starts developing as I need a high ceiling guy to get going. 2033/24 Season Preview: In league I'm sure we'll do fine again. With no good option for keeper though I can see winning league being tougher. For European competitions, the league path is much tougher and I'm really not sure where we end up. Hopefully can push to group stage though.
glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 9 - Utterly Deflated - Sell on Fees = $00000 In what is possibly the worst part of my save so far, and feels utterly deflating, I have been conned out of not one, not two, but three 50% of Next Sale sell on fees. Jamie Herd (YP01A) let go on a free. Richard Owens (YP05A) - worth at max range 4.2Million, and Zvonko Kovacevic (YP04B) - worth at max 9.4Million, both part exchanged. Utterly devastating Edited May 19, 2022 by glennuk
Daddy
Quick update: Thought I had it qualified with a 3-0 first match against Ajax. Was up 4-1 and then it fell apart. Losing dropped us to the Euro Group stage I didn't really dig in to see how we rank against them. Hopefully at least third to keep alive in European competitions.

Career Pinedo might be one that you can retrain as the left back your craving
Winski
Bye-bye, beautiful Garbarnia Krakow-save..... After ten seasons, this save is over. Don't know what happend, but it's broken. It probably has someting to do with the newGAN manager-application. When the most recent youth intake came, and I tried to give the players their new faces, my game crashed. I loaded my save again, did it again: another crash. After a couple of tries it finally worked, and I could play again, and continued the save. But now I can't load my save-file anymore. I have a back-up file, but thats from more than 8 months in-game ago. I'm not going to use that one, and just take my loss. I'll probably continue my Chemie Leipzig-save, but I'm not sure yet. I tried some other saves, and thankfully I can continue them, so it's not that all my files are broken. From now on I'll use 3 backup files, because I don't want this to happen again. aldojags
@Winskiwhat a shame man i was enjoying your updates, you must be gutted. @Daddyyeh 3rd is definitely possible there probably 2nd too, i cant see Rennes being that much better than you? Give us a look at the American's boys attributes whenever you get a chance?! You've done well for strikers in this save haven't you? @glennukthat is soul destroying man, that seems like a bit of a cheeky loophole, what's the point in sell on clauses if this stuff going on with the part exchange. I used to part exchange all the time in Championship manager but I havent done it honestly in about 20 years never even click the option to explore it... I can't believe that it happened with two saves. I was enjoying my Garbarnia-save very much. After ten seasons I finally had the feeling that I could progress in Europe. The intakes were getting better and better, and my facilities were almost maxed out. And then this. And I was also enjoying my Chemie Leipzig-save. I don't know if that team will ever pop-up again in my reloads. I did a lot of reloads in Germany, and sometimes teams like Babelsberg, BFC Dynamo and Lok.Leipzig have been promoted. But Chemie Leipzig...It was the first time in at least 200 or 300 reloads (FM21 en FM22) that Chemie came up. I'm not sure about my new save. Got a few ideas, probably going to try a few things to see what gives me the best feeling.
SuperRedditch
@WinskiWhy not use the 8 month old save? I know it feels awful to go back that far, but if you were enjoying the save is it not better than losing it entirely?

I don't know, weird to go 8 months back in the save. I tried it, but it just so strange to go back that far in time. So maybe I'll continue the save at that point later, but for now I'll just look for a new adventure.

BustaRaymes
*FM20* Littlehampton Town 2043-2044 Vanarama National League We dropped down a bit after one or two formation changes too many. Too many midfielders for 4-4-2, too many strikers for 4-2-3-1, not good enough fullbacks for 4-3-1-2 or 5-3-2. We'll have to bounce back or we'll lose our regular playoff spot for too long. Transfers Bassett left with a nice sell-on to Stoke. Played 25 games already in his first season there. Squad McGinty played as a CB most of the season and did well. Will be tough to hold on to him though, as clubs are sniffing around. Mbiyavanga-Domo was great again, even from the left side he bangs in the goals. Youth intake I forgot to screenshot the actual intake day, but we got a few low CA, high PA players. Rasulo-Hancott looks like a nicely rounded player, and more at MC than at AMC. Vos could be a great attacking or even complete wingback. Collies pace is much needed for us.
