Which tactic are u playing with as there is a few on their??

DARK SIDE OF THE MOON 4312 P106 EC FA Salah 75 Goals

This link should download the tactic.

The link in my comment should open directly to Knap's original post.

Some tips:

STCR: Play a left footer. Knap had Salah and I use Greenwood = Goooooaaaallsss

Wingers: Try to use ones with the correct foot, e.g. ML = Left Footed, and if possible without the trait to cut in from the wing they play on. They can get loads of assists this way.

Good tips thanks. Do u think this tactic will work with Leicester? If not, which one will.

I think it will work well and worth trying but probably need something like the 4141 for tougher games against the biggest teams (especially Liverpool, the evil empire of this year's FM).

TIME 4141 is great for me but interested in others who have used it.

I am not completely familiar with the Leicester squad but took a look and would think these are best players for each position:

GK: Schmeichel

DR: Ricardo Pereira (elite!) / Justin

DL: Castagne / Justin

DCL: Evans / Fuchs (maybe, left footed but slow)

DCR: Soyuncu

MC: Ndidi (top quality) / Mendy

ML: Cenzig Under (train at ML, left footed and can develop well) / Maddision

MR: Barnes / Maddision

AMC: Tielemens (not sure how good at AMC but should be great) / Maddison / Ayoze

STCL: Vardy

STCR: Kelechi

Main transfers would be another striker (Brenner is amazing if you have the money), CB (Papetti, always) and left-footed if you can (hard to get cheap), and fast wingers (lowest priority).

Remember that players do not have to show Green for position suitability. Example being Cenzig, especially if young they get familiar quickly (usually).

Thanks for the advice, I will give it a try and share the results here.

@knap

The test didn't go quite good I started nice for the first 2 months but then I started to concede a lot of goals. Also, I had a lot of injuries too. I will try another one of your tactics again. Thanks for the help.

@bestfootie

I just use AM, as in theory your AM will make similar decisions. I also use AM with Dulwich so I'm not always using a top AM.

The Prof has researched elements of increasing attributes and how much CA this uses, check Baden Powell for advice.

It is perhaps worth asking on Discord about training.

In my limited run of games on the new patch I am scoring just as many goals from corners/long-throws as before. Could just be variance in your game (or mine).

Continued using HGF 4132 and killing it on the new patch, patch appears to have changed nothing.

My set pieces definitely seem to have been nerfed. I will check the routine for HGF 4132 to see if it's the similar to what I've been using. (Warrior 442)

TEST RESULTS

You can use results in a few ways.

Top covers say top 5 Clubs in Division Mid the next 7 and then under dog.

Just use totals as an all round tactic.

Use best top at home and best underdog away or difficult games.

You can mix and match with your preferred formations.

It is just a guide to help identify right tactic.

AWAY GAMES SUS

With regard to Away games it depends upon your own risk factor. I am gung ho and prefer to attack and perhaps win 1 game in 3. If isk adverse then use a defensive tactic and perhaps draw all 3 games.

As a defensive formation I would use 4141 as it has a DM and protects wings, and KINGSTONIAN 4141 would be my choice.

I use 3 DLs std higher much higher. If AI are going for balls over top then std but if AI attacking you can leave at higher ormuch higher.

The LOE can be adjusted with or without DL adjustments. The simple answer is just drop LOE..

I use Cautious positive and attacking mentalities.

For a SUS these are ideas to use.

Use 4141 formation

Remove pass into space

Stop WB runs by go

ing to defend or no nonsense FB

Use Defend on DM or most defensive MC

Change mentality Positive/cautious

Add Time wasting

Change from counter press and counter and full SUS would be to regroup and hold shape

I tend to judge what to use by how the game is progressing as you may just to want to control game rather than a full SU

SHOUTS FROM CADON

Calm Down (win by 1 goal diff) -

Praise (win by 2 goal diff) -

Berate (loss by 2 goal diff) -

Demand More (loss by 1 goal diff or draw)
