Happy_Turtle
Can't believe there's not been a post on this yet. Just had my first match with "light snow" it looks like comets are landing on the pitch or aliens are invading.
Phil Macklam
Any chance of getting a screenshot?
Barkermush
Yet to have a snow match. Got a screenshot? Want to see what it looks like.
Happy_Turtle
Also can I suggest a different texture for the pitch during snow matches, can barely see the orange ball against a green pitch when playing against Liverpool
Happy_Turtle
note that those large white balls keep moving making it a b**** for me to see what the hecks going on

Happy_Turtle
you can turn the weather off you no ... thats wot i do . it help make the game run better Yeah I've noticed a huge drop in framerate during that match, they're probably so proud of the size of those snow comets that they rendered them in full 3d
Happy_Turtle
Also, note I'm playing Liverpool, it cou,d just be their fans throwing festive coloured beach balls onto the pitch
AB-forever
That snow doesn't look very realistic
anagain
That snow doesn't look very realistic It looks like snow to me. Various sized flakes floating around. It's English snow. I bet you get proper snow over there in Denmark.
AB-forever
It looks like snow to me. Various sized flakes floating around. It's English snow. I bet you get proper snow over there in Denmark. I just think the snowflakes look too big... and the pitch colour hasn't got the slightest hint of white.
Mojby
Remember though in real life the closer the snow flake is to you the larger it will look. It is realistic to have what appear to be larger flakes close to you than further away. Just my opinion but I do think they look to big as it will ruin the game. baker.simon
This thread reminds me of a classic Father Ted moment. Lol, indeed Anyone know why it isnt settling on the ground? Or if them snowflakes are to scale, making rather large craters on the ground?

Glenn Wakeford
Lol, indeed Anyone know why it isnt settling on the ground? Or if them snowflakes are to scale, making rather large craters on the ground? Undersoil heating? There are weather improvements we can undertake in the future, snow settling by the sides of the pitch or on pitches without undersoil heating is a good suggestion, cheers! IMT
I have just had my first snowy game, absolutely appauling, I like the rain graphics etc nice touches, but the snow is ridiculous, firstly the "flakes" are bigger than the sodding ball, secondly surely flakes that large would settle? I couldn't see a thing that was going on! My Norwich side just beat Hartlepool 4-1, but christ knows how, if it wasn't for the commentary I wouldn't have a clue who scored the goals! Maybe it just us Norwich fans......................I had a heavy snow match in my first season with Norwich, impossible to know what is going on! Wayne\'o
how about due to large amounts of snow falling the attendance is lower than normal due to bad traveling conditions. or a coach of the away team getting stuck along the m5
