Tactic Master
Please Note: This is the sign-up thread, once we have at least 20 people, I will set up the Game Thread and PM everyone to start the game! Chairman Super League Welcome to the Chairman Super League! This is slightly different to previous chairman games you may have participated in, as this wont focus on a specific nation or league! Instead it will focus on a select amount of clubs from a select reputation. You can expect to be able to control teams such as Russian side Rubin, Scottish teams Celtic and Rangers, even Mexican side Chivas! There will be no limit as such, as to how many people can sign up, but I would like at least 20. Available Teams - You may pick any, but bare in mind you will need to probably load them up in a game of your own to check them out. Argentina Teams Boca - Estudiantes - River - Velez - Independiente - Lanus - Banfield - Newell's - Racing Club - San Lorenzo - Austria Teams SK Rapid Wien - FC RB Salzburg - Belgium Teams Anderlecht - Standard - Brazil Teams Atletico Mineiro - Botafogo - Cruzeiro - Gremio - Internacional - Palmeiras - Vasco - Bulgaria Teams CSKA Sofia - Levski - Litez - Chile Teams Colo Colo - Croatia Teams Dinamo Czech Republic Teams Sparta Prague - Viktoria Plzen - Denmark Teams FC Kobenhavn - France Teams AS Saint-Etienne - Girondins Bordeaux - LOSC Lille Metropole - Stade Rennais FC - Toulouse FC - AJ Auxerre - AS Nancy Lorraine - Montepellier Herault SC - RC Lens - FC Sochaux-Montbe - Germany Teams HSV - Wolfsburg - Hoffenheim - Gladbach - Koln - Hannover - Hertha BSC - Greece Teams Olympiakos - Panathinaikos - AEK - PAOK - Holland Teams AZ - Ajax - FC Twente - Feyenoord - PSV - SC Heerenveen - FC Groningon - Vitesse - Italy Teams Cagliari - Genoa - Lazio - Napoli - Parma - Sampdoria - Udinese - Catania - Palermo - Bologna - Mexico Teams America (MEX) - Cruz Azul - Chivas - Monterrey - Pumas - Toluca - Tigres - Morelia - Santos Laguna - Pachuca - Atlas - Portugal Teams Braga - Romania Teams Steau - Dinamo Buc. - Rapid Buc. - FC Vaslui - CFR Cluj - Russia Teams Dinamo Moscow - Lokomotic Moscow - Spartak Moscow - Anji - Rubin - SerbiaTeams Partizan - Red Star - Scotland Teams Celtic - Rangers - Spain Teams Almeria - Athletic - Osasuna - Deportivo - Getafe - Levante - Espanyol - Mallorca - Racing - Betis - Real Sociedad - Sporting - Zaragoza - Villarreal - Malaga - Switzerland Teams Basel - Zurich - Young Boys - Turkey Teams Besiktas - Fenerbahce - Galatasaray - Trabzonspor - Ukraine Teams Dynamo Kiev - Metalist - Dnipro - What I Need From You! Please Note: Once 5 teams from a country have been picked, the rest of that countries teams will be unavailable. Please Note: To ensure that we get a nice mix of teams, all debts will be wiped out and each team will start with at least £10,000,000 in the bank, unless they already have over that. Please Note: Due to being unable to edit the Stadium Locations, we will be creating new ones! Please Note: Sacking your first Manager will cost only 1 years worth of his contract in the first season. By now you should know what team you want to be and it's time to fill in the form! There is going to be some extra bits to fill in than you would expect due to the change of country. Don't sign up if you can only get on the forums once a week or if you're going to drop out before the end of the first season. 2) You can change your manager at any time and as many times as you want, but obviously changing manager often will be very expensive. 3) When a manager is fired the remainder of their contract will be pain in full. 4) Only realistic managerial appointments can be made, so no you can't hire Sir Alex Ferguson if you're managing Wigan. 5) If you want a manager from a team in the league then you will have to sort out compensation with the chairman of their current club. If you sign a manager from an AI team then the compensation value paid will be the remainder of their contract + 25%. 6) You may set your transfer & wage budgets to whatever you like, but just remember, set them too high and your club will run the risk of bankruptcy. Also, your transfers may not take you over your wage budget. If your manager chooses to do so there is nothing you can do, but you may not offer more money than you have set out in your budget. 7) Your facilities can be upgraded if you want to. The cost will be: £2,500,000 for a minor improvement to your youth system. £3,000,000 for a minor improvement to your traning facilities. £10,000,000 for a 5,000 Stadium Expansion. Transfers 8) Limits on transfer numbers are as follows: Transfers between clubs in the league - Unlimited Loans between clubs in the league - Unlimited Transfers from foreign clubs - Maximum of 2 in the Summer, maximum of 1 in January, maximum of 3 in a season Loans from foreign clubs - 2 per season Free signings - 3 Per Season Transfers of youth players from foreign clubs - Maximum of 2 in the Summer, maximum of 1 in January, maximum of 3 in a season *A youth player is classified as a player aged 17 or under and valued at below £3,000,000* 9)Transfer values are as follows: Transfers between clubs in the league - Agreed between Chairmen Transfers from foreign clubs - 2.5 times the players current value Transfers of youth players from foreign clubs - Double the players current value IF they have not represented their nation and have played less than 10 senior games. Four times the players current value if they have represented their nation or have played more than 10 senior games. *If a player has a minimum fee release clause in their contract which is less than the calculated value then they can be purchased for the value of the clause* 10) At the start of each transfer window I will post up a list of the top players available on a free transfer. If a chairman wants to sign a player they will PM me their contract offer. I will then announce the player on this thread and every chairman will have the opportunity to PM me their own contract offer. The player will sign for club who makes him the best offer. Posting up your offer in the thread rather than in a PM will result in the player rejecting it. *In the first season you can view the players in your own game, however after the first season if you want to see a players attributes then just ask and I can send you a screenshot, as obviously after the first season some players will have started to decline* 11) If you wish to sign a player from another club in the league then you need to contact the chairman of that club, agree the details of the transfer, then let me know about it, and once I have confirmed it is all OK then you can announce it in the thread. 12) Your control over the sale of players is more restricted than with signing players. Players that you want to get rid of can be offered to other clubs in the league by posting up an announcement of your desire to get rid of the player or by contacting chairmen directly. You can also choose to release players on a free transfer however the remainder of their contract will come out of your transfer budget, or you can transfer list a player. To release or transfer list a player you need to contact me and I can sort it out for you. Wages 13) The wages that players will be signed on will vary depending on the players agent... Willingness 1 to 3 = 1.25x wage Willingness 4 - 10 = 1.5x wage Willingness 11 - 15 = 1.75x wage Willingness 16 - 18 = 2x wage Willingness 19 - 20 = 2.5x wage Playing 14) Everything must be confirmed by PM before being posted on this thread. So for example, you don't announce a transfer until I have confirmed by PM that it has gone through, you don't announce a manager sacking till I know about it and have told you it is OK, and so on. You get the idea! FAQ Section *Loans* I have had a couple of people ask questions about how to make a loan of a player from abroad. I will handle it by adding the player to your squad for the duration of the loan as there isn't a way to create loans in FMRTE. You will always have to pay 100% of their wages. As for who you can loan, if it is realistic it will be allowed. So any player who is listed for loan, fine, most players who are listed as backup, fine, Lionel Messi, not OK! *Youth Players* If a youngster is available for a direct contract approach in the game then the cost to sign them will be the compensation that the club requires in the game. E.g. If you approach to sign Bernard Mensah from Watford, the cost of signing him will be £1.21m, as this is the compensation that Watford ask for in game. Thanks for clearing it up. i have a chairman game running and i think theres about 6 people active out of about 14 id say and to be honest it does wear a bit thin when the person who is running the game and people sign up and don't put the effort in the game then obviously it does become annoying. Tactic Master
I've now messaged everyone who has problems with their applications (i.e. already chosen teams), so hopefully we can have that fixed up soon! NathWalker messaged me earlier about a possible upload of the save when i've completed the database, so I thought i'd inform you all that I already have that in the pipeline, for scouting purposes Unfortunately i've been really unwell today, but I feel up to starting on the database now, but don't hesitate to continue with the applications We currently have 18 full and successfull applications and will have around 21 if those people correct their posts! Tactic Master
Also a bit of information that I neglected to put in the OP... This league will take place in San Marino, meaning that all clubs chosen to take part will become of Sammarinese Nationality. This means that despite a club such as Fulham being English, teams like Manchester United or Everton will become foreign clubs. Just to clarify, that will mean that a club like Malaga will become a non-foreign club as they will be Sammarinese aswell. I thought this would add a bit extra to the whole thing, as it will create a new Super League in World Football, just as countries like England, Spain and Italy have become.
