Ty's Guide to British Talent

Introduction

Everyone on this forums (that are British) at one point says; "I am going to start as such an such, and I will only buy English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish players."

After a while, they struggle to find any players and then they lose faith in their British challenge!

Well, this guide is for them people!

I have compiled this massive list of players, from the UK, that have a fixed PA of 130 or above, and players from -8 to -10.

This isn't just the obvious players, and this isn't just meant for 'big teams'. The players in this thread could be used from the Premiership to the depths of League Two!

I have sorted the players into Positions, and then have stated the PA, Nationality, Club and Age of the player.

This isn't just a massive list either, I have also compiled a shortlist for everyone as well, this it to save everyone a bit of time.

I realised we didn't really have one of these threads devoted to PA's of British lads!

I know we have a 'Good English Youngsters' thread, but I am sure a post like this would be worth of its own thread.

Please correct me if I am wrong HoPeY or Purefun, and let me know what you think.

The Shortlists

This shortlist has every player from this thread on it, all ready for us to import and use.

Convenient hey?

I am happy for you to distribute this around all other fan sites, or what ever you other lads use, just don't take credit for it.

I have seen others do this before. Also, just remember to link back to this post!

I wasn't too sure what hosting sites worked best for the majority of the users on this forum.

So I just went with a handful of commonly used ones, that I hope everyone gets along with.

Sorry, I used [PA -8] as a template for every player and then changed them to the correct PA one by one. :o

Must of missed a couple, thanks for pointing it out.

I am nakered to be fair, and my eyes hurt.. I have been doing that for hours.

I just thought, this is something I will benifit from in future saves (as a sort of index of players), and hopefully helps others as well.

Can someone pls explain what the -8/-9 PAs mean...?

I get PA & CA 0-200 but what are the minus values all about?

These potential abilities are negative potentials. At the start of a new game players with negative potentials are assigned potentials, ranging from one number to another. The different negative abilities and what they mean are shown below:

-10 = PA 170-200

-9 = 150-180

-8 = 130-160

-7 = 110-140

-6 = 90-120

-5 = 70-100

-4 = 50-80

-3 = 30-60

-2 = 10-40

-1 = 1-20

In addition, having a PA of 0 means that a player will get a random PA between 1 and 200. This figure has to be above his starting CA.

Mirror 1 and 2 aren't working for me in Championship.

But a really big thanks for these, started a Blackpool game midweek and these should come in handy when scouting around. And a nice plus to see one Blackpool player made it on the list :D

I fixed the Championship mirror 1 on the Championship post, but forgot to fix it in the OP :o Sorted now.

I'm not having troubles with mirror 2, but obviously I knew everyone was different, hence me doing a few links. :thup:

I spent my first Saturday since my football season ended on FM/Forums all day and making this! So it was kind of productive... :D

*By the way, if anyone spots a mistake in the list, just let me know and I will change it! As I said, I used the same template for each player and being human, I will miss a few things!*
