Dannywillis
i created myself as a player on editor.. does it depend on how good u are if ur cheating of not?
cliff7197
Well it's certainly unrealistic. If you create yourself as a world superstar and put yourself in the team you're managing, then I'd suggest it's a bit dodgy. But it's your game, have fun with it however you want. heathxxx
It's entirely up to you what you do with your game.
graeme355
i don't create my self but my two teenage boys and i cant really give them crap stats now can i also just put them at rangers so even if a start a different save they are there and have come back to give me a headache at times lol
phnompenhandy
If you give yourself a rubbish CA/PA its no different to the SI 'eggs' in the database. I use the editor to create my 15 year old son for my youth squad. He'll never make it.
outlaw640
I created myself once, just give yourself a random CA/PA rating and you are alright.
jod123
Nothing is cheating in a single player game.
llama3
1 player cant make a great difference. provided you arent a 200/200 player who is an expert at penalties etc etc etc then by all means go for it an enjoy your game
ChewyFun
i would consider any tampering of the Official Database cheating, but it's not a crime - i do it all the time

EthanM
Text speak If it's really for text speak, I think it's pretty harsh. I've seen many others using text speak without being warned or receiving an infraction.

SSGTroyer
I use my nom de plume for my manager, and my real name for "me." "I" am realistic in my height and weight, but I lie a bit with my fitness and age. Just a wee bit.... "I" start as a 15-year-old kid with not much CA but -10 PA, and "I" am the only player on my fictional team's roster when the game starts.

happy slappy
That's extremely harsh. Not really, it's clearly stated in the House Rules that text speak is not allowed on these forums.

You can if you use the unofficial savegame editor FMRTE (FM real-time editor). The details are in the thread in the Editors' Hideaway forum.

LutonNil
didn't create my self but 2 14 year old sons with random (0) potential - not cheating IMO creating yourself as a -10 superstar in a BSS team is
Stevicus
And we're all so lucky that you are here to tell us all about them. "Please note that we do not have a limit on the amount of characters you can type on these forums. Thus posting in abbreviated "text" speak is not permitted. Widely used internet abbreviations such as "LOL", "ROTFL", "IMO" and "IIRC" are not subject to this rule. Repeated breach of this rule will come under the "Warning procedure" house rule." chopper99
I think Nomis' point could be that we have enough mods on here to enforce the rules, and unfortunately enough wannabe mods as well, without you feeling the need to point out every new posters mistakes. Chilliconcarnie
I always have a "cheat" game on the go as well as my Man Utd and my LLM games. My cheat game will either be my own team creation where I put people I know in the team, as well as myself, with me having pa/ca of 200 and everyone else as -10. I also sometimes just put myself in Man Utd as a 13/14 year old with a pa of 200 and just see what happens to "me" But as someone above said, what you do in your own game is up to you Just only brag about doing well if you dont modify the DB
