One other thing worth keeping an eye on. Darlington have failed in their appeal against demotion to the Northern League. Also their new chairman is giving fans the opportunity to vote on the clubs new name. Under the terms of the new takeover the FL informed the company -DFC 1883 Ltd - that they must change their name and the chairman says whatever the fans want they will get - they are bound to get some really stupid suggestions on that you can bet. It appears that Rangers new owner has warned the players who take such action with impending legal consequences.
