Selling;

Player Name: Clint Dempsey

Your Team: Fulham

Buyer: Olympic Marseille

Player's Value: £3.8m

Offer: £7.5m- £3.9m upfront/£3.6m over 6 months.

Season: January 2012

So, he's 28. I have Ruiz, who will be back in Jan after an injury. Dempsey is more reliable but what do you guys think? He's an important player, but the money is good, no? Zamora is also leaving in Jan, so a bit hesitant.

Selling:

Name - Rafa van der Vaart

Buyer - PSG

Season - Summer 2011

Offer - £20m (£4m upfront, £16m over 30 months)

Hadn't considered selling Rafa but with him being 28 it could be the only chance to get such an offer? Any thoughts on this?

I think you could get a better deal and anyway I'd only sell him if you're planning not to use an AMC. Like Robert said he's in his prime and any replacement of his quality will probably cost you more.

Keep Rafa until 30. He was my best player in my Spurs save. Sell at 30 and you still get a very good price near to the one you're being offered now.

No, that'd be an awful deal. I'd wait another year atleast before selling him, especially since the money is mostly in instalments. At 28 he is in the prime of his career, because he's never relied on physicality. Don't sell.

Thanks for the replies. I can get Eriksen for £7.25m over 48 months and Willian for £7.75m. I'm really tempted to sell.

EDIT: Now PSG have offered £20m upfront and Man City have offered £23.5m upfront.

Eriksen still has quite a bit of developing to do though, but I'd be tempted to get Willian in regardless of selling Van der Vaart or not. He's a great option to play out on the wing or at AMC.

YES he is a beast on the right sometimes a little selfish but he is immense!

Hulk is a much better player and would have more immediate impact, but if you're really worried about the finances then you'd save massively on wages by signing Ighalo.

If finances weren't a concern I'd definitely buy Hulk though, at that's a pretty cheap price for him too

I see Song as a person who is more likely to create something. Sandro is like a Mascherano in my eyes.

cheers, thanks mate. i think imma go with him, because he is more versatile and sandro has not play much for tottenham and I think he didnt deserve the big price tag

This isn't following the template I know but I need to be quick, sorry.

I'm Man Utd (2nd season) and looking for a DLP.

The players I have been looking at are: Albin Ekdal (£4M), Andrea Poli (£4m) and Tom Huddlestone (£14m). The other 3 who would cost a hell of a lot more are: Ganso (£46m), Hamsik (£26m) or Pastore (£39m).

Who should I go for?

I need 2 out of these 4 for my Europa & Ligue push for honours. I shipped in 48 goals in 38 games in my 1st season. Maybe due to my attacking 4-2-1-3 formation but I still want an all French team so let go of my non-French CBs.

Edit: Budget down to 14m as I had to convert Thorgan Hazard's loan to a permanent deal for 4m.

He'll be the replacement for Musacchio who has been nothing but average since i've bought him, but i'm a little unsure as Coloccini will stop being first choice soon, and Musacchio would (possibly) be taking that role.

Buying/Selling: Selling

Player Name: Leandro (labelled the next Ronaldo at beginning of season 1)

Your Team: Liverpool

Buyer/Seller: Arsenal

Player's Value: £5.5m

Offer: £15m upfront

Transfer/Wage Budget: £57m/£1.6m (currently using £1.48m of it but players are coming back on loan and Stevie (on £88k) and Cole (on £90k) are both retiring before the season starts.

Patch: 12.0.4 (didn't want to start a new save)

Season: pre season 4

Not like I really need the money and he is only 2* out of his 3.5* potential and his third in line after Suarez and Damaio but still gets about 10-20 games and some goals too. Also the fact that it's a rival that I may be selling too...since they're out of good strikers since they put van Persie in reserves and only have Chamakh and Park (who are both, for some reason doing good!) as well as Hulk and Walcott.

Just unsure coz I have two regens that are tearing up the under 18s and reserves league that I could give game time too.

Buying/Selling: Buying

Player Name: Clint Dempsey

Your Team: Juventus

Buyer/Seller: Fulham

Player's Value: £3.8 million

Offer: He's been offered to me for £3.8 million

Transfer/Wage Budget: £8 million | £164k per week remaining

Patch: 12.2 [The latest patch]

Season: Summer 2011/2012 - First Season

I'm a massive fan of Dempsey's and I was quite surprised to see him offered to me. He's demanded a move away from Craven Cottage, citing a need to play for a bigger club as his reason. I'd love him at Juventus, but I'm not sure as to whether I should be spending 50k a week on him when there are other options around. :thup:or :thdn:?
