mlindqui43
Now I have a small knowledge of Hispanic or Spanish last names but... Garcia Garcia??? sounds like a male version of Carlos Santana's Maria Maria
Bababui
Its kinda rare but not really strange. Its just his mothers and fathers last name. And, before you think they are from Swindon or West Virginia; Garcia is a common name in Latin countries.

Ari Gold
Definitely not all that unusual for spaniards. You see it with cyclists all the time: Alberto Contador Velasco, Luis Leon Sanchez Gil etc. FYI, the latter's brother plays for Espanyol I think. Sometimes they even merge their last names. Race car driver Helio Castroneves was Castro Neves, but he combined them into one. And hey, even if this wasn't the case, even country needs their own answer to Eric Djemba Djemba

UELLfan
In Spain we do have the bad habit of keeping the mother's surname as well as the father one. Thus, some kid named Jorge, whose parents were called José Gil Hernández and Lucía Herreros García, would receive the Gil surname from his father and the Herreros one from his mother: Jorge Gil Herreros. hth Oh and cyclist brother plays for Getafe this season.
