Not strictly true any longer.

There is no direct relegation from the Scottish Third Division but since the 2005/06 season if a club finishes bottom for three successive seasons then they will be dismissed from the league.

I doubt it. You'd be relying on an unlikely circumstance and having to holiday for at least three seasons!

Germany, Spain or Italy would all be possible. Or you could try Gundo or iseemonsters challenges which are similar to this but in random european or south american nations..

My sanity has been saved. I took a wild stab by going to the second games shop in my area which never gets games anywhere near the release date and to my surprise they had multiple copies of FM08 sitting on the shelf.

I'm about to head off to be now but ill be up and running in the morning. I'm choosing not to install the beta patch as it doesn't seem to have improved all that much.

If someone would be able to send the the Unibond and Southern Premier League kits via email that would be greatly appreciated.

I didnt get my contract renewed even though i got promoted first season and ended up 12 second season.

He's been fine for me, but I won the league in the first season and didn't go on much of a bad spell, so haven't tested how he would react to a poor run yet.

He was listed as 'listening to offers' when I took over, however now in the BSP he's 'enjoying life at the club'.

Seems to be tolerant about the budget going down too, mine went into negative figures for a while, and the board didn't get too worked up about it.

Dominant month Apart from a little slip against Tiverton who seem to be my early bogie team. Dorchester just refuse to lose at the moment though. Won every game again, I'm 8 points behind them in 2nd place now. Hope they crash. Ephraim still scoring for fun, awesome little striker, and Hutchinson is finally doing what his attributes suggest he should be doing! Plenty of assists, a goal and generally all round amazingness got my attacking midfielder, Barron this award, pipping Hutchinson who finished 3rd. I also got some more recognition which is always nice.

Board turned down my requests for both a feeder and a parent club which was a pain in the arse. They're still mad at me too, it's ridiculous. I'd better get a new contract!

Stamford - Conference South 2008/09 - End of Season Update

Stamfords first season in the Conference South had us predicted to finish in the relegation zone, and a 2 year plan to establish ourselves in the division.

After a bit of a rocky start by not having a remotely full squad for the first few games of the season and still winning at least one of those games, I had some reasonable optimism.

Shame my Ass Man still wants me to offload most of my squad regardless.

Due to a 9 game undefeated streak including a run of 5 wins in a row, the team managed to escape relegation and finished in a respectable 11th place.

Apart from the first 2 signing the whole season was done after the beta patch was applied. I was using the default 4-4-2 formation with no changes and it seemed to be working a lot better than in my attempts with other teams.

The Magpie Cafe there does the best fish and chips in England. FACT.

Apart from the first 2 signing the whole season was done after the beta patch was applied. I was using the default 4-4-2 formation with no changes and it seemed to be working a lot better than in my attempts with other teams.

Default tactics working wonders for me too. The defult 5-3-2 with minor teaks has carried me to League 2 with Stamford and doing well there too.

If it's been logged as a known issue then I would expect it to be fixed in the patch, something like this can't be allowed to remain in the game.

By the end of my season I should be in a good position to test it out. I've just been promoted to League 2 and my contract is up for renewal at the end of the season. </div></BLOCKQUOTE> </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

It may be one of those bugs that will only be fixed on new games unfortunately. So perhaps some people just starting can look for it as well.

Remember, you CAN requests contracts yourself and don't need to wait for the board to do it for you. Waiting on a single performance evaluation in any job is trouble.

note: I see this as a bug only if you've met all your objectives. If you don't meet your objectives, don't be surprised to not see a new contract if you wait until the very end.

Mangotsfield Town Season '08-'09

The board wants to win the Blue Square South by the end of five years.

One of my best signings was a Cypriot from Doncaster who had a bit of an anger problem. Nonetheless he was a firm fan favourite

The other key signing was our key striker who banged them in with regularity.

After finishing third in the league, after Salisbury ran away with the league on 92 points. It came down to a tense Playoff Final

I have to say but our goalkeeper was AMAZING throughout the whole playoff run, he made some great, great saves and was almost unbeatable in the penalty shootout.

Anyways, we are up to the Blue Square Premier!

I think i'm gonna revert to the default tactics with slight alterations for my new season after finishing 19th in my first season

GK: Set to default GK passing long, distribute long kick

WBR/L: Forward runs mixed, cross from deep, Long shots rarely

2xMC: Mixed on everything, Closing down 14

AMC: Run with ball often, Forward Runs often

FC: Run with Ball often

Default 5-3-2 counter: Move Sweeper up to CB. Play flat 3 CM, Middle CM with forward arrow.

Thats it really. Just think about it logically and what you want the player to do.
