anyone had a red card apeal go their way?

As above, I have an appeal every now an then to see what happens, I have never had one revoked, have you?

It can happen but it is rare and probably not worth the possible aggro of it going against you

In FM12 I haven't needed to appeal as all the red cards have been justified, due to scissor tackles/ones from behind, oh and the odd elbow.

Never had it, I guess it dies happen though but the same as in real life it happens rarely.

Had it happen twice in my current save. I've also spent 12 games with a touchline ban(not together, twelve individual) and been fined around £700k in eight years.

Happened to me once with Rangers. Carlos Cuellar had his red card rescinded cos of a heavy challenge that was deemed unacceptable. I just appealed to try it out and it worked!

Yes, plenty of times. The secret is to read the report of the referee's performance after the game. If it mentions the sending off as shady, appeal it.

Its something ive put forward for the new FM13.

In real life were seeing the increasing annoyance that is diving. Id like to see more things happen (annoyingly) like a player wins a penalty but it was actually a dive. Or a player gets booked for diving for a penalty. This happens very rarely on my saves.

I can remember once in recent times that I was able to complain about a ref decision and it sort of went my way. I mean in the sense than I said it was never a penalty and the media stated that the FA are remaining tight lipped meaning they agree with me (instead of fining me etc... like usual).

I found that if you avoid the question directly asking about a decision but say the performance overall was poor then they don't take it as criticising the ref!!

Tried it 5 times on each FM since FM 10.. Failed every time. Only tried it 3 times on FM 12, I don't even bother anymore

Nope, don't appeal anymore.

Never had a chance, too many justified reds for me...
