dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2025/26 Last season we failed to qualify for any European competition, so this gave us a great chance to focus solely on our league campaign. League Table - we spent most of the season just behind Man United, but a huge win at Old Trafford gave us the edge in the run in as we took the title on goal difference. EFL Cup - this was a great run from our squad players, just a shame they couldn't quite make it to the final. FA Cup - the squad players got us to Wembley, the first team made it an all time classic cup final. Squad - there is room for improvement, but it is getting harder to find good players. Transfers - I replaced a couple of unhappy players. Finances - we've got loads of cash but we were briefly failing the Premier League FFP rules for wage rises. Key Player Profiles: Evgeny Smirnov - finally, this is what I was hoping he would be capable of. Tiago - played superbly as the second striker. David Vaca - he was only signed to replace an unhappy backup, he turned out to be superb. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - our most valuable player. Luís Carlos - he's not really a DM, but he's made a big difference to my team playing there. Career Overview: Season League Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------- 2016/17 EFL League Two 3rd Promoted 2017/18 EFL League One 2nd Promoted 2018/19 EFL Championship 6th Playoff semi finalists 2019/20 EFL Championship 7th 2020/21 EFL Championship 5th Playoff winners 2021/22 Premier League 14th 2022/23 Premier League 12th FA Cup winners 2023/24 Premier League 12th Europa League winners 2024/25 Premier League 11th 2025/26 Premier League 1st FA Cup winners Next Season: This season we had the benefit of no European football to distract us, the challenge for next season will be to maintain our league form while putting in a performance in Europe. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2026/27 Last season we managed an unexpected league and cup double, but could we keep that up with the addition of European football? League Table - despite some good form at the end of the season, we were never in the title race. Community Shield - this was a great way to kick of the season. EFL Cup - we were lucky to get as far as we did, with the draws doing us no favours. FA Cup - this was a shock defeat. UEFA Champions League - we did well to top the group, but got a tough draw against a good Barcelona side. Squad - it's getting difficult to improve this squad. Transfers - just a couple of backup players swapped for a profit. Finances - once again, we had worries about failing FFP for our wage increases. Key Player Profiles: Evgeny Smirnov - top scorer again. Liam Kirby - he scored a decent number for a midfielder. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - the superstar. Tiago - he had a great season when he wasn't injured. Dion Lis - he's worked his way into the first team. Career Overview: Season League Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------- 2016/17 EFL League Two 3rd Promoted 2017/18 EFL League One 2nd Promoted 2018/19 EFL Championship 6th Playoff semi finalists 2019/20 EFL Championship 7th 2020/21 EFL Championship 5th Playoff winners 2021/22 Premier League 14th 2022/23 Premier League 12th FA Cup winners 2023/24 Premier League 12th Europa League winners 2024/25 Premier League 11th 2025/26 Premier League 1st FA Cup winners 2026/27 Premier League 4th Next Season: It was a huge blow to slip down to 4th, so we need to get our league form back. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2027/28 Last season we slipped from champions to Arsene Wenger trophy winners, our aim for this season had to be the title. League Table - 3rd place was an improvement, we have to be happy with that. EFL Cup - I stuck with the backup players and they did a decent job. FA Cup - we came up short against Newcastle. UEFA Champions League - we had an amazing run, but struggled against the Spanish teams away from home. Squad - I've got a few positions I'd like to improve, but I just can't find the players. Transfers - I switched a defender for a big loss. Finances - we could be in trouble with FFP. Key Player Profiles: Evgeny Smirnov - top scorer again. Tim Bradbrook - he's worked his way back into the first team. Dion Lis - he was amazing. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - our star. Liam Kirby - he scored a great number of goals from midfield. Not exactly something to worry about with £100m in the bank! This is what I find so frustrating about FFP. It won't let mega-rich owners like Man City's pump money into the club, despite the fact they haven't loaded the club with debt, yet it will let debt-laden clubs like Man Utd spend several hundred million in the transfer market, rather than obliging them to pay off debts. It's clearly a mechanism to protect the established order, which makes Leicester's achievements in breaking that last season in the PL, and this season in the CL, all the more remarkable. I've not had a really unlikely winner of either on my save so far, and I'm in 2041.

dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2028/29 Last season we made a Champions League final appearance, but the trophies have dried up since our double winning season of 2026. League Table - we hung on to fourth place, we weren't even close to challenging for the title. EFL Cup - the backup players did us proud, the first team finished off the job in the final. FA Cup - we took this one a bit more seriously due to the opposition, which resulted in a domestic cup double. UEFA Champions League - we were looking great until we capitulated against Bayern. Squad - it is hard to improve this squad, but I'd love a great DM. Transfers - I sold off some unhappy players and took the opportunity to sign a wonderkid. Finances - no worries about FFP this season. Key Player Profiles: Evgeny Smirnov - started the season in great form but finished with a series of injuries. Tim Bradbrook - he's finally made his case to start matches. Lory Marc Rosélia - he's making a good case to be my first choice. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - our most valuable player. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2029/30 Despite a cup double last season, we found ourselves missing out on the big ones yet again. This season we wanted the league title. League Table - we had our chance playing Arsenal on the final day, but we lost 3-2. Community Shield - we threw away our lead, but held on to win on penalties. EFL Cup - this has been a great competition for our backup players in recent years. FA Cup - another great win to complete a second successive cup double. UEFA Champions League - this was the one we wanted, but we were just too inconsistent in the knockout rounds. Squad - it's still not perfect, but the squad is still improving. Transfers - I swapped both of our DMs and picked up a new young striker. Finances - we are loaded. Key Player Profiles: Evgeny Smirnov - top scorer, but I'm hoping another striker will take his place soon. Mario Lotito - the new striker made an impressive start. Lory Marc Rosélia - one of two world class right wingers. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - the star of the team. Roger Beurton - a solid defender. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2030/31 After two successive domestic cup doubles it was about time we won one of the big two. League Table - it was the same old story as we failed to mount any kind of title challenge. Community Shield - a nice win to kick off the season. EFL Cup - I'm not too fussed about failing to make it three in a row. FA Cup - this was a nice way to finish off the season. UEFA Champions League - we had some great wins but came up short when it really mattered. Squad - the squad is quite young, so hopefully there's more to come from them. Transfers - I made some drastic and terrible changes in January, spending £52m on an ineligible player! Finances - a big loss, thanks to my transfers. Key Player Profiles: Mario Lotito - I made the huge decision to sell our star striker, giving this youngster his big chance. Dion Lis - he's done well to keep his place in the team. Roger Beurton - a great defender. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - he's still here, which is great. Liam Kirby - solid, if a little unspectacular. Career Overview: Season League Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------- 2016/17 EFL League Two 3rd Promoted 2017/18 EFL League One 2nd Promoted 2018/19 EFL Championship 6th Playoff semi finalists 2019/20 EFL Championship 7th 2020/21 EFL Championship 5th Playoff winners 2021/22 Premier League 14th 2022/23 Premier League 12th FA Cup winners 2023/24 Premier League 12th Europa League winners 2024/25 Premier League 11th 2025/26 Premier League 1st FA Cup winners 2026/27 Premier League 4th 2027/28 Premier League 3rd Champions League finalists 2028/29 Premier League 4th League Cup and FA Cup winners 2029/30 Premier League 3rd League Cup and FA Cup winners 2030/31 Premier League 4th FA Cup winners Next Season: I'm really hoping there will be some news on a new stadium soon, perhaps that will be the catalyst to pushing us back into title contention? dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2031/32 Since winning the league in 2026, we've had five seasons of finishing 3rd or 4th. Could this be the year we break that run? League Table - at last we've done it! We had the usual strong start that didn't last, but we finished the season well as City dropped points. Community Shield - we won it on penalties as neither side could manage to score. EFL Cup - our squad players are starting to become a force. FA Cup - the red card really hurt us, despite equalising we ran out of steam in extra time. UEFA Champions League - we had a couple of slip ups in the group stage, but hit form in the knockout rounds. The final was insane! Squad - the squad is in great shape with a number of decent youngsters. Transfers - I sold a club legend in favour of an exciting youngster. Finances - the financing for the new stadium is the reason for this huge loss. Key Player Profiles: Mario Lotito - he had a great goalscoring record. Tim Bradbrook - he continues to keep himself in the team. Dion Lis - he was the better of the two world class right wingers. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - he's unhappy, which is worrying with two years left on his contract. Roger Beurton - having a defender this good makes such a difference. Career Overview: Season League Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------- 2016/17 EFL League Two 3rd Promoted 2017/18 EFL League One 2nd Promoted 2018/19 EFL Championship 6th Playoff semi finalists 2019/20 EFL Championship 7th 2020/21 EFL Championship 5th Playoff winners 2021/22 Premier League 14th 2022/23 Premier League 12th FA Cup winners 2023/24 Premier League 12th Europa League winners 2024/25 Premier League 11th 2025/26 Premier League 1st FA Cup winners 2026/27 Premier League 4th 2027/28 Premier League 3rd Champions League finalists 2028/29 Premier League 4th League Cup and FA Cup winners 2029/30 Premier League 3rd League Cup and FA Cup winners 2030/31 Premier League 4th FA Cup winners 2031/32 Premier League 1st League Cup and Champions League winners, FA Cup finalists Next Season: It had been a long wait, but finally we have won the Champions League.
