My biggest memory is the 30+ stops on the train between there and Manchester. It turns what could be a 3 hour train into 5 hours. Painful!!

I just looked at list of uk football stadiums and counted around 18 bigger in the UK. Of course a couple of those are being redeveloped currently(Stamford Bridge and White Hart Lane). I suppose the stadium could have been expanded ingame. The Super Cup is hardly a 'major' tournament...;) Keep up the work, Daf!
dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2044/45 The winning run continued, could we keep it going this season? League Table - we lost a game early on, so I used the league to give a few squad players games. Community Shield - we sealed it with a late winner. UEFA Super Cup - two late goals made this look closer than it was. FIFA Club World Cup - we made easy work of our opponents. EFL Cup - we struggled in our first game, but went on to win. FA Cup - no problems in this one as we saved our best for the final. UEFA Champions League - a perfect set of wins. Squad - I have a few players I'd like to replace, but it's hard to find quality players. Transfers - I cashed in, but it wasn't a great transfer window. Finances - a small profit, which is worrying considering the transfers. Key Player Profiles: Teddy Renouf - top scorer from the supporting role. Danny Mende - perhaps the end is near for him? Kenneth Sabbe - a poor season by recent standards, but he's still our most valuable player. Christian Nwankwo - he's in the peak of his career. Tomas Masek - perhaps the huge fee was worth it? Career Overview: Season League Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------- 2016/17 EFL League Two 3rd Promoted 2017/18 EFL League One 2nd Promoted 2018/19 EFL Championship 6th Playoff semi finalists 2019/20 EFL Championship 7th 2020/21 EFL Championship 5th Playoff winners 2021/22 Premier League 14th 2022/23 Premier League 12th FA Cup winners 2023/24 Premier League 12th Europa League winners 2024/25 Premier League 11th 2025/26 Premier League 1st FA Cup winners 2026/27 Premier League 4th 2027/28 Premier League 3rd Champions League finalists 2028/29 Premier League 4th League Cup and FA Cup winners 2029/30 Premier League 3rd League Cup and FA Cup winners 2030/31 Premier League 4th FA Cup winners 2031/32 Premier League 1st League Cup and Champions League winners, FA Cup finalists 2032/33 Premier League 1st CWC, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2033/34 Premier League 1st CWC, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2034/35 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup and FA Cup winners, Champions League finalists 2035/36 Premier League 1st League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2036/37 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2037/38 Premier League 1st CWC, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2038/39 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup and Champions League winners 2039/40 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2040/41 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2041/42 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2042/43 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2043/44 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2044/45 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winners Next Season: Six clean sweeps in a row, can we make it a magnificent seven? Danny Mende has blitzed Peter Harris' record of 193 league goals by scoring 321. The league appearances record is a bit trickier, Jimmy Dickinson made 764 league appearances. I can't see that being beaten! Nestoras Ktistopoulos came the closest, with 409.

dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2045/46 We had won every trophy available for six consecutive years, could we make it a magnificent seven? League Table - an unbeaten season, our first in six years. Community Shield - we sealed this with a late second goal. UEFA Super Cup - another comfortable win. FIFA Club World Cup - this final was nuts. EFL Cup - we were dominant throughout against tough opposition. FA Cup - we had a shock against Barnsley, but came through to win the cup. UEFA Champions League - this was not in the script as we came up short against Barcelona. Squad - I may move on a few of the older players to give the youngsters a chance. Transfers - I regretted selling Opoku, I may even try and sign him back. Finances - a profit. Key Player Profiles: Danny Mende - at 31 he had one of his best ever seasons. Kenneth Sabbe - not bad for a third choice. Teddy Renouf - missed two months injured, but he's still our most valuable player. James Chukwu - I wanted him to play DM, but he's doing well at centre back. Artem Voronin - our first choice winger. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2046/47 We missed out on winning the Champions League last season, so while it was impossible to achieve a clean sweep I planned to give some of the younger players a few more games. League Table - we lost quite a few, but we were scoring for fun. Community Shield - we needed penalties to clinch this one. EFL Cup - we were lucky to get through the semis, but we went on to lift the cup. FA Cup - things were going well away from home, but a sending off ruined the final for us. UEFA Champions League - we made easy work of the unlikely finalists Dinamo. Squad - the squad is in great shape, we don't really need any improvements. Transfers - I made a big profit as I sold off some big names and brought back a former player. Finances - loads of money. Key Player Profiles: Kenneth Sabbe - top scorer. Danny Mende - he's starting to lose his place in the side at the age of 32. Henry Goodwin - the youth product impressed. Fabrizio Ientile - this is why I could sell Nwankwo. Joe Opoku - the player I brought back to the club. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2047/48 Our perfect run of competition wins had ended and we were looking a bit fragile in some of the big games over the last two seasons. Could we get back to winning ways? League Table - a record points total, just a shame we couldn't go unbeaten. Community Shield - the red card made this a bit easier for us. UEFA Super Cup - a great win over our rivals. FIFA Club World Cup - we scraped through against Kaizer Chiefs and looked pretty average in the final. EFL Cup - we came up short in the final, I played a strong team we just weren't good enough. FA Cup - this was a poor defeat considering I put out our best team. UEFA Champions League - we were on top form, on Arsenal held us to a draw. The final was a battering. Squad - this squad really should be winning everything. Transfers - I signed a new young striker, but quickly realised that he was a bit rubbish. Finances - plenty of money. Key Player Profiles: Teddy Renouf - top scorer in an amazing season. Danny Mende - I was going to release him at the end of his season, but he earned himself a new contract instead. Kenneth Sabbe - suffered a bad injury, which gave Mende the chance in the team, still our most valuable player. Fabrizio Ientile - the winger had another great year. Ryan MacDonald - pushing Ientile all the way for a place in the team.
