Oh right, thankfully more of a cosmetic issue. Thought it was going to be a bigger bug than that :D I'll change as many as I can, but due to the amount of released players so far I don't know if I'll have time to go back and change them all.

Well I wouldn't recommend starting one with the beta as it has a game breaking bug in it. I'd wait til July 1st release personally.

I will just start an unemployed job. While i wait for your next release.

Motherwell have also signed Michael Higdon from St. Mirren.

Dunfermline have let go other players as well, but I couldn't name them off by heart.

I'll send you the rest of the SFL tomorrow.

EDIT: Darren Dods has signed for Falkirk on a 1 year deal from Dundee United.

Hi mg, will you be doing player cleansing with the full update?

For example if I started as Man city, I'd be able to sell James Milner without getting the message no clubs are interested because he has only just signed for the club etc.

Wait... Gullit fired already?! He's only been there about a month!

He said he was there just for the money, owner of the club went nuts, shouted smt about Gullit visiting night clubs instead of training his players... Gullit got fired and saw 6 million euro being transferred to his bank account. Don't think he has anything to complain about :D

Huge list of Finnish transfers (some might already be included in 11.3 update, but surely worth checking). The year behind the players is the end year of his contract (so if it says 2012, its 31.12.2012). 'Laina' means loan :)

  • 4 weeks later...

Hi everyone. Hopefully you were all able to download the update from the website whilst the forums were down. I'm hoping for the next release to be Friday, however that is dependant on a couple of things. Firstly I've been away for 5 days so am a bit behind the times, and secondly, and secondly, to say my internet is being intermittent is an understatement, so I don't know if I will have web access or not to release it.

I'm also aware that someone had some problems with FM crashing whilst trying to start a new game. This is due to the large amount of changes made and your computer is struggling to multitask. Be in full screen mode when starting a new game, don't have iTunes etc open when it's trying to load and don't try and do anything, just let it start the game. This applies to anyone with a low-end machine. It's a bit slow even on my quad core so bare with it and it'll be fine.

Will you be updating the fixtures to the correct onees ?

Magicmasterminded is working on a file which updates the leagues to May 2011 with real fixtures and results included. So the game starts on May 27th 2011 with some leagues correct as from the end of the season.

Yeah Magicmastermind is your guy for that. It should be compatible with this update.

The thing with that though is it wont work with yours unless you dont include promotions and relegations in the update. Because the game sims last season with correct results, the table is already soreted in order so the correct teams will already get relegated and promoted. But obviously if you include the promotions and relegations, the teams wont match for the results to be included. But im sure you have already done waaaay too many promotions and relegations to change anything now. If anybody wants to use it they will just have to change them back themselves :)

Thanks for the update Metal_Guitarist. I've one small question since I'd like to do some tweaking. Do you know where I should save that databse update, so that I can tweak it further in the editor? The editor only gives me the option to edit the three official patches/updates, and wont let me browse to where I have other db's saved?

Hey MG, nice to see you still going, last update was fab :).

Jack Cork has moved to Southampton (you probably knew this).

One more thing, what are Anzhi's finances going to be like? I just got told by a Santos fan that they offered £50m and want to pay him £7m a year. I reckon they should have good budgets. ;)
