Makoto Nakamura
2025/26 End of Season Review Another 12th placed finish. We'll lose a couple more players at the end of the season with Manu retiring and with Alfredo (YP1a)'s contract expiring. Our starting goalkeeper is about to turn 38 as well so I think he'll be retiring which will take us back down to 24 players so we are slowly getting to a younger team with now only six players over the age of 24. Overall Best XI 2025/26 Best XI Pablo Carmona Alberto (YP2d) - Rafa - Jorge (YP3a) - Dave Humphries Ivan Castellano (YP1d) - Alfredo (YP1a) Juan Miguel Lara (YP2c) Gonzalo Saiz Jonathan Espinoza (YP3b) - Adrian Navarro (YP2a)

Popular Post glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 11 - End of Year Review - Is this the year? League - 1st We just needed 1 point on the final day to guarantee promotion....we didn't get it, but luckily for us Mansfield did not win by too many goals (they needed 3 more to win the league). We are finally in the Sky Bet leagues! No trophy presentation (perhaps because we lost?), but it doesn't matter. Finally after 7 years in the Vanarama National we have made it through! Game of the Season I think the game that really won us the league was way back in March. A 1-0 away win against Mansfield set the tone for how the last 10 games of the season would go and we never really let up (until the final day). We go up scoring the most amount of goals and conceding 3rd least, so it was not by luck that we get promoted. It was nice and fair to see Mansfield promoted too. The Squad Everyone played to a high standard this year and it wasn't just the first 11 either. We had competition for places throughout the team and when we had injuries (we had 3 broken legs this year!!) those squad players really stepped up. I really believe that we can make the step up to Sky Bet League Two and not be in a huge fight for the relegation spots. The Finances We are still ever increasing in Sponsorship and have kept our finances to a good standard throughout my time here. I am slightly concerned this may not be the case as we move up to Sky Bet League Two, as we have a LOT of salary increases due to promotion as well as required stadium improvements to pay for. The stadium expansion will take pretty much all of my finances, but hoping it doesn't cripple us. The Accolades Manager of the year and 3 players in the Player of The Season running. The Future Biggest boon and amazing news is with promotion Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) signed a new (and his first professional full time) contract, with no minimum fee clause. He is worth every bit of the 1.3k a week he is now on, by far our highest paid player. I even got an optional contract extension clause in there. I think we can fight it out in mid table in league two and don't expect to see the Vanarama National ever again.
SkiIIs
Season 2028/29 - League 1 First season in League 1, was hoping for a mid table finish whilst pumping in some new stock into the first team, the board wanted to fight bravely against relegation. The campaign started off being a relegation dogfight but then suddenly became a push for promotion. After 7 games we were in the relegation zone, but then only 1 loss in the next 12 games started the momentum back up the table and then into the play off zones where we spent the back half of the season. A strong win against 4th place Swindon in the second last game of the season sealed back to back promotions! Promotion to League 1 means we need a new stadium and finally get out of our 5k capacity stadium we packed out every game. Finances have been a struggle especially as we didnt get the cash cow from the FA Cup or League Cup. We did however make it to Wembley for the Papa whatever Cup and faced QPR in front of 46,000 fans. A game we should have won after the red card! Not the biggest stadium being built but it is an improvement! We also got our Youth Category upgraded back to level 3. We didnt have any funds to do anything else and are still in the red. Youth Preview: Youth Intake: my weakest part of the squad are my wingers so this is much required And another rookie mistake by me saw this happen, he had already made his debut post signing a youth contract and even scored in the league: @glennukthis ones for you, my superstar DM from the VNL that I sold for 825k and 30% sell on is now being sold for only 200k

glennuk
Worthing FC - Season 12 - Sky Bet League Two - The Squad and Season Preview I don't usually do Season Previews, but wanted to show my first team squad, as many of them have had no screenshots in this thread. So here it goes. The Squad GK (Defend) - Oliver Kirkwood (YP06C) - He isn't great, but he is just about the best we have. He played well all season, but is someone who may get replaced when we get a better keeper through the Youth Intakes. RB - Full Back (Support) - Ross Roberts (YP10J) - Only in the team as Tom Roberts (YP01F) got a big injury. However once Ross got in, he was impossible to replace. Played well all season and even chipped in with a couple of goals and a handful of assists. Has a lot of room to grow and apart from the, not great, personality, he is pretty much above 10 everywhere it matters. He will be in a battle next year to keep his starting spot, but somehow he is also my second highest valued player....maybe it's a sign. CB - Central Defender (Defend) - Louis Lang (YP08H) - Plays better than he looks. He is one of those players that I want to replace as we make the step up, but if he keeps playing like he is I will have no choice but to start him. Not special anywhere...except when he is on the pitch I guess. CB - Central Defender (Defend) - Chris Blanchard (YP09E) - The Driven personality convinced me to start him this season and he definitely paid off my faith. Still has a lot of room to grow and with his Driven personality I hope he can make it. Could well be playing for the club for the next 10 years. LB - Full Back (Support) - Lea Sills (YP08D) - Lea has turned into a very good LB. We have had multiple offers of 1mil for him, but I have convinced him to stay. An area of strength (we had 3 decent LBs, two of which were sold) has now turned into an area where we have little adequate depth. Therefore I reject every bid, even if it makes him unhappy. He has however signed a new contract, but insisted on a 300k release fee, I thought better to keep him as long as I can and keep him happy. Could come back to bite me though. CDM - Defensive Midfielder (Support) - Kady Sowden - Another who performs better than his stats may suggest. He seems to rarely make mistakes, comes up with goals and assists when most needed and be one of those 'right place, right time' kinda guys. He is one of my favourites, even though I know he may need to be replaced sooner than later. CM - Box to Box Midfielder (Support) - Simon Korhonen (YP02H) - 2* potential, who cares. Every time I think about replacing him it ends bad. He just performs so well over and over again. Now one of the elder statesmen in the squad, he is influential, changed to a Driven personality and mentors the youngsters. Will be important to keep around even when/if I ever replace him. CM - Central Midfielder (Support) - David Lennon (YP05D) - Came in touted as a striker who could also play CM and I retrained him specifically to play Central Midfield (support). He has improved a decent amount and although the balanced personality is not great, it hasn't hampered his progress too much. Has great mentals where it matters, and links up the play in the middle well. 5 goals and 8 assists is pretty good from the CM position. AMR - Winger (Attack) - Garry Brough (YP03A) - Another player who may have hit his limit. BUT another player who performs so well. Crossing of 4 is confusing considering his 9 assists are mostly from crosses, but the fact that his finishing is only 4 is insane too. An XG of 14, yet he has 16 goals this season. Surely his stats must be bugged or he is just a legend of Worthing. Worst part is Garry seems injury prone and seems to get his injuries when it matters most (end of season often). AML - Inverted Winger (Support) - Jasper Pattenden - Last legacy player left. Regained the starting AML position when Stefan Schroder (YP07B) was sold. Was still very much a rotation piece, but seemed more consistent than other players who were put at the AML spot. Won't last much longer, but is another who is influential enough with a decent personality to be a mentor for the squad. ST - Advanced Forward (Attack) - Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) - The man, the myth, the legend. Scores goals for fun. Is rated as a Sky Bet Championship player, is still improving (finishing recently jumped from 9 to 10) and has just signed a new contract. I will do everything I can to keep him. I am so glad I didn't take the 1.7mil plus 50% of next sale offer that I was soo close to accepting. We would not have been promoted without him. We will also not stay up without him, he is essential to everything we do. I love Jean-Claude Current Facilities Season Preview I would put some money on us Notice how Jean-Claude Kitoko (YP06A) is in the dream eleven already! Extra Sale & Bad News Sold another player (3rd choice striker) for more than I really feel he is worth. But lost out on another sell on fee.

Winski
1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig I'm going to try Germany for one more time in FM22. I first started a save with AFC Amsterdam in the Netherlands, but when I saw that XaW also started a save with that team, I switched to Germany. I had a save before with 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig, a couple of months ago. But I got fired after a long streak of losses. Hopefully this time I will not get fired!
the_hdk
Camisas Negras (Black Shirts) Polonia Warszawa Season 31/32 / Season 9 League Thanks to @WhiteCat33 and his small fix I was able to win confidence back and continue with the save. Ended up witha quite easy season. Jagiellonia ware the only team to come close to us within 4 points but dropped badly at the end. With 10 less points than last year still 4th Championship in a row and 6th for the club. Cup was horrible, lost in first round away in Wroclaw against Slask. New low. We did win the SuperCup, our first and 2nd in history of the club. We lost our goaly ZAPYTOWSKI in January to Koln. He was replaced by our 5 star potential GRZELCZAK from last season intake. Further McCONNELL who switched from England to Poland as main Nationality joined the first team. We nearly lost WISNIEWSKI too in january window as GKS Katowice (tycoon takeovered) offered his min fee release clause, but he preffered to stay at Polonia. Europe Quite good run in europe. In CL We manahged to beat Ajax and draw against them and Athletic. In Euopa League we reached QFs. Our best in history of the club. Sadly Milan was much too strong for us. Still happy with beating Nantes and Atalanta. Club Infra AS mentioned before due to the fix the next day this happaned. With nearly 100mln in cash we should be able to build up our facilities to max soon enough. Youth Not a bad intake I guess. Still no foreigners. Altough this season we did finally managerd to get two foregn affiliates. Zalgiris from Lithuania and Cannes from France. Our best intake player. CYWKA has great Tackling at 16 and great Bravery at 18 but thats about it. With unambitious personality we need to see if he will grow. I think its also time to search for a better HoYD. so after more than a month finally a new update

Popular Post XaW
3 players in the NxGn! Mohamed El Amrani 28c just got capped by Morocco, and actually was 1st! My goalkeeper Guillermo Meier 28e was 13th. I am trying to get him to score goals and so far he has scored 17 for us. He is also the "new Edwin van der Sar"! Popular Post Winski
1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig 2022/2023 (season 1)3. Liga (3rd)League table | Finances | Facilities | Transfers |Youth intake| Club overview | Manager profile YES! We dit it! In our first season we finished 3rd, so we qualified for the Playoffs. We met Eintracht Braunschweig. We played 1-1 at home, so I had to win away. And we dit it!!! We scored the winning goal in extra time. So we are going up, to the 2. Bundesliga! Best player this season was by far Michael Schlicht. He scored 18 goals, together with 13 assists. But Djamal Ziane also had a great season, with 22 goals. For next season, I'm hoping to finally start a coaching court. The board is constantly rejecting it, because of our financial situation. Because of that I also wasn't allowed to upgrade our facilities in any ways. So let's hope we can start upgrading next season.
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Amsterdamsche FC- Season 2029/30 - Eredivisie Squad | Transfers | Finances I didn't know what to expect, but we had a very good season for our first go in the top tier. Ajax is unreachable at the moment, as they have won the league every season since 2018/19, so a Bayern-esque dominance here. Will be hard to break, but I'm very happy. We finished in a strong 8th place and reached the playoff for the European spots. In the semi final we narrowly lost to RKC Waalwijk after two legs. We are building a new stadium at some point in the future. It's needed, since we are filling our 4,885 capacity just about every match. KNVB Beker: We beat NAC, OFC, and AZ before we lost to Feyenoord in the quarter final. Youth intake: Trophy cabinet N/A

Winski
This is what you call a debut! It's the first match of the season in 2. Bundesliga. Due to some injuries, I decided to put this guy on the bench. And in the 2nd half he made his debut as well. And then suddenly he scored 2 beautiful goals! Just 2 minutes after he came into the field he scored a great goal with a volley inside the box. And in minute 85 he scored his 2nd goal as well. Thanks to Maximilian Luis 23g we won our first match, against highly rated Werder Bremen. Popular Post Daddy
2035/36 Review: no trophy celebration again. After a sluggish start where I was just hoping to maybe catch first place by end, we wound up dominating the league and never really looking in danger once we took over. We won the preseason "Super Cup" and the State Cup as well. I forgot to grab screenshots for the Europa League Knockouts. We faced Ajax, which I was excited about in hopes of getting revenge. They won 7-4 on aggregate (3-2 & 4-2) and went on to be runners up in the whole competition. Won a ton of in league awards. As I said last time, to save space I'm not going to keep posting repeated awards. I will continue to show the wonder kid list and any new wonderkids. Miara took over the starting role and just flourished. 8 appearances the season before and 33 last season. He's one of a few players the top flight teams in the world are asking about. It may be cliche but it's how I learned to play the game, I play high tempo and pressing tactics. As a result players get tired. Now that I have a lot of good players I give lots of rest. Usually in the early season when there's so many matches the players complain about playing time. I ****ed up handling Nidam, he threw a hissy fit, Bologna came in at 3M, and I had to give up a top 5 player on the team or risk destroying dynamics. Flushed with cash and no way to spend it. They won't do anything else for the stadium, despite the poor field condition. No more expansions possible. I haven't seen a youth facility upgrade in years. Basically every chance I get I ask to build new stadium, hire more staff, and increase their salaries. They won't add any more affiliates either. Usually the staff and salaries get approved. I have so many staff that I almost stopped worrying about personality and just hire from rivals. Just to steal their coaches. The coefficients didn't change this year, and the club ranking went down slightly but our world reputation went up and are now the top team in Israel. {Sorry for grammar. too tired to make that a proper sentence or two} For something a little different I wanted to update on how the U19 team is doing. Second Champions Cup in four years, and a runner up spot. Also dominating the U19 league as well. Youth Intake: Very top heavy again. The player most likely to make the jump quickest is Hayak. He could steal the starting AML spot left by Nidam. 2036/37 Season Preview: First time we've been favored to win the league! After plummeting from automatic group stage back to Second Qualifying round I at least liked the odd of making it to the playoff. A win puts us in the Group stage and a loss into the Europa Group Stage. Overall just dominated. Not really much to say there. I was optimistic, but that exceeded. Real Madrid hasn't done one of those things where good teams just fall off in the future. Runners up a few times in the 20s, but have won four times since 2030. The last few seasons Napoli have need a top 3 Series A team, including winning once. I don't have a ton of experience against Italian clubs, but we did play Milan in group last year. A pair of 3-0 losses. Milan and Napoli are about equal. I do not know how we rank against an Austrian club. Hopefully we beat them and at least finish third. We've already exceeded the club goal for the Champions League. I actively try to lose in the State Cup, but we still usually make it at least to semi finals which keeps owner happy. In league I have to expect to win it all again. The biggest problem facing us would be getting crushed in Champions League and it turning morale, or not being able to fend off transfers. They've come for my striker (Y31A), the American who wins all the awards and was #1 wonderkid at one point. He hasn't wanted to leave thankfully. My promising young fullback has also not wanted to leave yet so I've been able to turn down. I've had two plays want to have bids accepted. The wonderkid listed above I had to promise accepting a 12 Million offer, which is way above what anyone came in for. His contract is up in two years, so I'm hoping after no one meets that demand I can extend him. Lastly, a previous wonderkid my Right winger, and someone would take over striker (Y30D). To keep him I had to offer a massive contract. The money was fine as out payroll budget is 26.4M even after giving him a huge raise, but he's now the highest paid player with a 1.5M gap between next closest. I don't know if that will affect dynamics. SO that was a long winded way of saying things could get upended quickly if I lose all my best players at once.

Popular Post libbyshuss
Argentina Premier Division 2036 (season 15) Season Summary A really good season that would have seen us put together a title challenge if it wasn't for River Plate going unbeaten for 36 games! But it felt a real breakthrough season. We may have lost 5-0 away to River but we also went to Boca and won 3-0. Other than River, we more than held our own against the other big boys. The next stage is to try and take down River. Copa Libertadores - Really good in the group stage! unfortunately the second round fell during the Olympics and our mini-injury crisis and we were without 6 first team regulars for a few weeks. Even so we only narrowly lost to Internacional of Brazil. We got a strong bunch of reserves now too! Players A lot of matruing this season, none more so than Francisco Pacheco 32B. He started at AMC, headed to AMR as injury cover and started scoring for fun. Then finished the season as STC where he continued scoring for fun. He's looking like he could be the key for us in the next few seasons Despite being on the worlds best wonderkid list at 17 and 18 Miguel Pinedo 32A is still not an official wonderkid despite now turning 20. Maybe he wasn't all along, meaning i still haven't had a wonderkid come through. And its 2036! Youth Another good preview and intake! Lots of As is always nice Best two are a pair of potential strikers with really encouraging starting attributes Finances and Upgrades One of the reasons why we had a good season is I've been signing up the really talented youngsters on long contracts with a higher wage than before. So my wage bill is now around 150k from 40k when I first got promoted. The result is we lose a lot of money. So when Spurs came in with this offer for my keeper I couldn't say no so far he's just been rotting in their reserves though...... I also sold a couple of 4 star yougnsters and added 50% sell ons to them. I can afford to sell them as the reserves and U20s are full of 4 star potential players. Well, around 10 anyway, so it seemed a risk worth taking. Career Argenitna is tough, much tougher than Brazil. There's too many big clubs here! weirdly, i think winning the Libertadores might be easier than the league.
Popular Post the_hdk
Camisas Negras (Black Shirts) Polonia Warszawa Season 32/33 / Season 10 League Not the best season we had. We ware struggling in february even went back to 2nd and 3rd spot but came strong in April to finish the job. 5th title in row, 7th for the club. And our team is getting stronger and stronger. Unless some coup will happen and we lose many of our star players I doubt we will stop to dominate. We sold two strikers this year. WISNIEWSKI stopped improving and he kept getting offers from GKS Katowice (Tycoon owned) so Idecided to accept and he left. His replacement 18-year old STEPIEN did well. a bit too well as Hertha snapped him up in january by paying his min. fee of 1,5mln. I forgot his was so low. Either way it paved the way for SROKA (Magpie) to come into fist team. He's alreay after half a season our best striker and they say he can improve alot...so we might have another JALOCHA on our hands. Steaking of JALOCHA our former star striker has now at 24 years old 39 caps with 8 goals, playing at Sampdoria and is worth around 20mln. The cup went better, we made it to 3rd round, and we won the SuperCup again. Europe 3rd place in CL group. I think that was teh max we can hoep for for now. In Europe League same as last year, QFs. I was surprised we managed to beat Lazio, and I was surprised how good PSV was, who defeated us2nd time in 5 years. Club Two big news, just before he left our former French owner improved our youth facilities up to 4,5 stars. Later in the year he got replaced by a Portugese dude. To celabrate that we got a link with Lustinania in portugal. Youth First intake under new HoYD MILNER. And its bonkers good! A real Golden genaration! Another goaly, a right wing back and two strikers at 4,5 star potential. I guess we have a team of birds, after magpie we have WROBEL (sparrow). F-Prof!. Great speed on this guy (15/15). Bad Finishing though. And finally a foreign intake player! Loris GOMIS, form Cannes so I guess our link to the club in same town helped to attract the youngster. Prof personality!. Horrible finishing for a striker though!. Still im happy with HoyD change. A golden genaration...and a big majority of the youngsters have F-Prof or Prof personality...no Model Citizen there yet.
Neo_Geo
VV Katwijk Season 1 (2024/25) Review After having a really solid run of results mid-season it fell off the rails a bit at the end but managed to bag the last play-off spot thanks to Jong Ajax being the team that finished in 8th and therefore I got their place Haddouti and Botermans appearing in top 3 for goals, assists and MotM summing up my season (lots of play down the left with crosses to Botermans) Drew RKC Waalwijk in the play-offs and lost 2-1 at home playing my usual 4-3-3 DM Wide, but thought I'd just go for it in the return leg and went with the 4-2-3-1 and gave a debut to my new 15 year old AMC (see below) and he pulled a 7.0 out of the bag as I progressed on away goals in a breathtaking 4-3 win! Squad depth then played a part in the Volendam games as I had to rotate a little and we just don't have the quality, losing 1-0 at home in the first leg and losing 2-1 in the second leg. Volendam played last years Keuken Kampioen winners Almere and beat them 5-3 on aggregate to go up with FC Emmen and NAC Breda with Almere, PEC Zwolle and ADO Den Haag going the other way. On the positive side I managed to get the board to agree to a further youth recruitment improvement Youth Intake With the facilities in place this is probably as good as I could have expected. I would have preferred one of the elite talents to be a central defender however given Freriks left (he was on amateur deal and unhappy with playing time) I needed a back-up to Botermans and given van den Berg is 1.93m and preferred role appears to be target forward its a good back-up. I will probably add Bank Balance to the above for next time, sitting at £1,164,430 (after 2 youth recruitment improvements and training facilities imrpovement) then I paid out £975k in prize money and ended the season on £187,930! Onwards to season 2! Edited May 28, 2022 by Neo_Geo
JAwtunes
Sorry for the long post - I'm looking for opinions... Given that we're unlikely to see an official fix to the youth facilities bug for FM22 now, I am considering joining the FMRTE club to up the chairman's WwY attribute. I have never used it before but it's possible to download and look at the functions, you just cant save without a licence (which is fair enough). Anyway, I loaded an old save (as I didn't want to see any current hidden values) and think I found the problem with my B and u19 teams not being promoted to the playable leagues - their reputations are incredibly low. It appears that they don't increase when they're in a non-playable lower division, so the teams bouncing between the lowest playable division (2) and the lower division are always the same after a few seasons (presumably they're the only ones getting any rep boost as the game processes). As such, I am tempted to alter the reputations of the teams in the lower division (and u19 teams) to more closely match the worst teams in the lowest playable league (including my B team and u19 team). What are people's thoughts on this - it would only really be for increased immersion? For context, these are the reputations of my team, Lusitanos, in s10 and those of teams that have had B teams in the lowest playable league in my save: FYI - It looks like this was identified as a problem back in 2014. I'm not sure if this is what I'm experiencing, but given the rep numbers above I think it probably is. The other thing I noticed is that it is possible to alter the kit colours. This is something I might also be tempted to do as my team in game has a home kit of purple and green (similar to Portugal's kit), but most of what I have seen online shows the team traditionally wear white shirts. I have considered creating white home kits in kitbasher - but this creates problems when you view the match as you can end up with you and your opponent wearing the same colours when viewing the match (as it still thinks you're in purple). What are people's thoughts on making this change too? I'm not a fan of using any 3rd party tools or dB where I can avoid them, but if I am going to spend £6 to essentially fix a bug, I would like to get as much out of it as possible. Any thoughts welcome as I'm 50/50 on having to spend money on this fix! Cheers

Popular Post toshimitzou1
HAUKAR: Season 1 review. Ok. Going to keep it as succinct as possible. EPIC first season. A cakewalk to the title and promotion in what is a very low quality nation. We won the title with four games to spare. We have a simple game-plan executed to perfection: Set up a compact low - block, get tight to the opponent with large numbers in the center of the pitch, tackling hard when under pressure and using our wide players to overload the opposition in transitions. As can be seen below, the wide players do the lion's share of ball turnover (tackles and interceptions) allowing us to quickly transition in areas where we often outnumber the opponent with the supporting positions of three deep set CM's: With the ball won, our three primary goal-scores (ST - Poacher, CM - Attack and Left Winger - Support) thrive on finding space whilst the supporting cast move the ball around: 8/20 is a fantastic return for the poorest player in my squad at MC. The poacher performed admirably, 15/21, doing little else other than winning aerial duels and sniffing out chances whilst the AML was the perfect all-rounder, arriving at the back post to finish off moves created on the right whilst being capable of creativity on his own wing. The DR as a Wing Back - Attack is the one who really enables these patterns of play to emerge, stretching the play with a stay wider PI for the full 90 mins, creating overloads that can be either directly exploited from the wing or recycled back across the pitch via the two supporting DM's. The DCMR is informed to hold position which is further aided by the player trait stays back at all times. This places himself and the DL Full Back Support in prime positions to to protect against counter attacks and be a safe passing option when in possession. The assists were varied and spread out: highlighting the benefit of having multiple creators and runners (both DM's are instructed to dribble more). The AMR Inside forward support is a role that is proved excellent at dragging defender around, creating space for others. The youth intake was sensational, probably as a result of having such a low quality side to start with: but probably boosted by the triple upgrade I received from the board across the season to both junior coaching and youth recruitment- For a part-time side that is something I am pretty stoked on. And here is the transfer record: Good to see the youth team getting promoted as well, usually a good sign of a solid tactic: Here are some observations I have made: - Being part-time means our club has a very low maintenance cost. - Arranging friendlies throughout the season can significantly boost a meagre bank balance. - Whilst this income in nowhere near enough to improve major facilities, it is enough to encourage the smaller improvements to coaching and recruitment that I previously stated. - The standard of football in Iceland's lower division is extremely low. I can't imagine it will take to long to win the premier division. - It could take a LONG time before we are capable of challenging for European trophies. My gut tells me I'll be lucky to win the ECL by 2045. Time for Season 2. Edited May 28, 2022 by toshimitzou1 Added Youth Promotion
SuperRedditch
@JAwtunes My thoughts: Changing the kits is 100% cosmetic and doesn't impact anything so no issue as far as I'm concerned. In regards to fixing the facilities bug, I personally don't care. I deleted my own Germany save because of it (before I figured out you could change the WWY attribute to fix it), so I understand the annoyance. It's incredibly stupid, SI should have fixed it, and as far as I know the Chairman's WWY attribute doesn't impact a single other thing. It's not like this challenge or the thread is an official leaderboard or anything, there's nothing riding on it and if someone really wants to 'invalidate' your attempt because you fixed a bug then they're taking it too seriously. The whole point of the thread, imo, is to just share our experiences with each other and turn what is otherwise a very solitary experience into a communal one. So, for me, go ahead. Other people already have and whilst I haven't had to on my Spartans save (I checked the chairmans WWY attribute in the pre-game editor before picking a team, and got lucky after a takeover), I would have if I needed to. The editing of the B team reputation is where I think it's getting into grey area territory. Does your team not gain an advantage by having a way to give youngsters competitive experience in the league structure? Or is the level they're playing at so irrelevant it's better off just sending promising players to better European countries? Are you able to save the game at the end of the season and reload when the game decides who is promoted? That way you might be able to get your B-team promoted without needing to edit anything, albeit with a hefty amount of reloading required. So, I personally don't care. There's no way to ensure that people haven't edited things, save-scummed results or intakes anyway, my whole view on the challenge is that it's about the journey not the destination. But I'm just one fairly irrelevant guy here.
XaW
NxGn 2031 update: Guillermo Meier 28e is in 2nd. He is our main goalkeeper and is now up to 26 goals for us. I have a contract for 2 more years, but he refuses to talk abut a new one... Mădălin Sava 30b is the newest addition to our list of talents at the 4th spot. Insanely rounded for a 16 year old. Kay Gjorgjievski 27f is on the list again, this time on 21st. Still won't talk about a new contract though. Rounding up the list for us is last years winner Mohamed El Amrani 28c. Now up to 4 caps for Morocco.

Daddy
I use Kit Basher to make the kits. I know they're generally unrealistic, but I have a blast doing it. I don't have a very strong opinion towards the need to edit to fix that Youth Facilities Upgrade issue. On one hand I don't think it's unrealistic to have an owner have a personality. However, by a certain point if you have taken their club from the lowest levels and taken them higher than ever before and there's money in the bank it makes no sense that an owner wouldn't say what else can we do to improve the club. I've also never had a B team move up the ranks, but to counter that I try to get affiliates at those levels so I can send players there to at least see them in playable leagues.
WhiteCat33
@JAwtunes in slovenia my U19s also never got added to the youth league, and there dont seem to be reserve teams in the country. I think it would benefit my youngsters there to have a league especially because no U17 players can play in the main competition. I am not sure it's a reputation issue though, because my team have made it into the knockouts of the U19 champions league on multiple occasions and still never got added to Slovenias youth league. I'd think that would add rep? I'll check later and edit with data. Obviously I made the chairman change. I can say at least it doesn't impact them letting you get more affiliates as I've gotten constant denials. To me this is good, as I wouldn't want it to make the challenge easier just not impossible because of SI breaking the YF decision criteria.

To me this is good, as I wouldn't want it to make the challenge easier just not impossible because of SI breaking the YF decision criteria. I did 11 seasons in Slovenia (was my first proper FM22 save) with Izola and just checked and see my u19s never got promoted either - despite us actually doing quite well. Spoiler I hadn't thought about the UEFA Youth League potentially boosting reps so had a quick look at a few numbers using FMRTE. My youth team have automatically qualified for the last 3 group stages but unfortunately there was no change in their reputation between s10 and where I currently am (part way through s18). Would be interesting to see if yours shows something similar @WhiteCat33 The numbers below show how our reputation (first team) has more than doubled from s10-s18, dwarfing our rivals now, but our B and u19 haven't budged at all, and those of our two main rivals have generally increased. I set up weekly friendlies (the day after first team plays) for my B and u19 teams, so they have played loads of friendlies over the years. This suggests that those games have done nothing to boost rep in 17+ seasons. Spoiler Our B team beating other B teams and a few first teams this season and u19s this season: I think I have talked myself into buying the editor - I'm actually quite excited to be able to 'correct' the colours of the home kit and to be able to get creative with our third kit every year. I don't think I will edit anything else yet, but will probably do the WwY fix when our training facilities start to rival those of Man City, while our youth facilities remain stuck one tier up from dog s**t Sorry for the spam today everyone. aldojags
Ok I know I said I was quitting Belgium, which I probably still will, cos this save is awful. However, I am at least going to roll into next season and see how it goes. We were dreadful this year, have been for a few years...and I've lost my best 2 players! But I like the shorter seasons (28 games) and I can;t be doing with reloading somewhere else and abandoning my boys! We shall overcome! So....(apologies for the mix of screenshots and imgur, I apparently over stepped the mark for how many pictures in a post!) Season Review 2027/28 Poor season, as has been the case every year since I got promoted, started well, but each year I've for some reason had a nightmare after winter break, a truly miserable few months after winter. Spoiler Overall shape of the club worsening by the year, finances not good despite moving to part time, facility downgrades but absolutely no chance of getting them upgraded with the finances like this. Transfers - not a lot here, but going through in the summer is the loss of my 2 best players, both regens - Ward De Vos on a bosman to Cercle Brugge, and Maximilien Leroy to Anderlecht, for a ridiculous £50k, but with a 50% future fee. I have to hope he makes it big there and makes me a few quid in a few years! Spoiler In terms of our team, best player on paper is still Eugene Diereckx, although I still don't think I'm getting the best out him, where would u guys play him? This season he was mainly left wing, but i want him involved more so I tried him DLP with his "comes deep to get ball" but he did nothing. I'm toying with the idea of trying him up front maybe as a DLF. Still have him under contract for another 3 years, few clubs sniffing about, had one of the meetings with him where I agreed asking price he was happy with of £625k, but then he immediately wanted a meeting as I had set it too high, despite him agreeing to it. I hate these wee snags in the game. And although they're nothing to look at, I'll show the only 2 players so far who have been capped at full international level that we've produced, for the footballing giants of Luxembourg! Also a player I like De Paepe, who also hasn't really delivered what I'd hoped but his attributes look decent? Di Matteo started season well as inverted winger on the right, but obviously something going on under the hood as he's got the status "anxious" a lot in games and disappeared 2nd half of the season. But he's been capped by Italy at youth levels. Spoiler Youth intake - usual bugged out "excellent intake" that doesnt really deliver! I think I'll use these 2 players (Kamago & De Wilde) and and we'll see what happens with the rest! Also despite my finances, i got board to agree to increasing youth recruitment from adequate to good. Next season, board just want survival again, which hopefully i can do, maybe put another 3-4 seasons in this league and try get basis of a team together, very young team I'm left with now maybe only 4-5 legacy starters. Popular Post SuperRedditch
The Spartans Season 13 - 2034/35 *Scottish Premiership - 1st**League Cup - Winners**Scottish Cup - Winners* Champions League - Grp Stage / Europa League - 2nd KO Rnd Domestic treble! There was no end of season capitulation, no playing second-string to Celtic, just a powerhouse performance to steamroll the league and to beat Celtic in both the League and Scottish cup finals. Scotland now has a 3rd Champion's League spot, which allows Rangers to hang onto relevance, although they are very much the 3rd best team in the country now. Europe is the true challenge now, and we were handed a very difficult group. I thought we did well. We actually beat Man City (after they had a player sent off). 3rd place meant we went into the Europa League. Disappointing. We can give anyone a game on our day but rolled over for Newcastle in the 2nd Round. The Squad I actually cracked out a notepad and pen and sat down to work out a tactic to get the most out of certain players. Over the season, we settled on this: I tried Riordan as a DLF and F9, but the thing that really worked was putting 'Stay Wider' on the 2 AFs. This in effect created a front 3 with the SS, and was a nightmare for the opposition to mark. 2 AFs moving laterally dragging defenders out of position and creating space for each other, the SS and the CM(a). I've never played this formation before - infact this challenge has made me create a lot of different formations due to a lack of good wingers. It's been very interesting. Steven Riordan 12a - Kind of my golden boy. Scored 1 goal in first 15 games as a DLF, but personality has improved and I think he's got serious potential. Deividas Cepkauskas 05b - 199 league goals for the club. 36 goals/18 assists this season which is just crazy. Has a lowish consistency attribute. Would be scary to see what he would be like if it was good. Callum Smith 08b - Playing as the SS had 33 goals/12 assists. Has been a slower developer but took off this season. Youth Intake Just the one player worth anything. But a Model Citizen and a DC. Disappointed with the lack of diverse nationalities, I even have a bunch of affiliates that have generated nothing. We randomly get a fair few Kosovans though. Michael Wallace 13a - Big, left footed, model citizen, 5* pa. Ticks just about every box. Our last good DC came through six years ago. Next Season Dominate domestically and not let Celtic back in like last time. Make some progress in Europe, we're 1 year away from moving into our new stadium.

Next season, board just want survival again, which hopefully i can do, maybe put another 3-4 seasons in this league and try get basis of a team together, very young team I'm left with now maybe only 4-5 legacy starters. Yo. You're only in season 2028 so I don't think you're doing too badly. Sometimes it is better to establish a working tactic in the lower tiers before making the jump to the top division. Also, one season in the top league will sort those finances or one big sale!!! If you look at my post you will see that my part-timers have shot straight into the top division. Here is my best player: As you can see, pretty dirge. I do, however keep things fairly basic. I'd be happy to make suggestions for how to use your top players if you show me your tactics? Or, you could post them up on the tactics and training forum to see if anyone there can help. Good luck and persevere.
