I know it's a small sample size, but does the fact that the second nationality of the best two players being Portuguese mean that the second nationality plays a part in intake quality?

Either way, I'm sure they'll play for Andorra.!!!

I think it might, I'm not too sure. Our best players are just Andorran though, so it could be down to chance.

Would have expected a much bigger jump in league ranking. Strange, maybe I'm misunderstanding how it's worked out?

Yeah not too sure, just have to keep performing.

We had it.

We had it and we blew it.

Lopez missed a penalty, and of all the few chances he misses he had to miss this one.

Devastating. :(

Ouch, tough result to take. I'm sure you'll be in the group stages again before too long though.

99 place is amazing achievement guys, especially for an Andorran club.Just think it took to me 4-5 years to reach it(98th place) with Vaduz who is a professional club with many  wins in quilifiers and after reaching EL 2nd knockout round!!

Shame about the EL this season.  On the bright side if think you threw this away, then you're probably hitting the stage where group stage is going to be an annual thing now.

Congrats on becoming professional, btw!

Our league is ranked 99th, as a club we are around 250th.

Thanks mate, yeah it's a shame but can take positives from the performance and as you said, it means we aren't far away.

2028 End of Season Review

3 in a row for us, and we were particularly dominant. Lusitanos ended our undefeated streak in the league at about 80 odd matches, so maybe they're going to mount a challenge next year. Not so much for the rest of the field who are just in our wake at the moment.

Key Players

So good they named him twice. 16 goals, 9 assists. Not bad for the 8th best prospect from 5 years ago!

19a667fdf5038bf6e7ee71b085f3a87e.png

What a beast of a season for Bruno. Spent around 2 months out with injury and still topped the assist charts. Smashed the record for season PoMs by 5 as well with 13.

Eduardo Lopez with his annual showcase. He continues to outperform his efforts from the previous season. 35 goals in 27 apps, shame he's getting on in years at 24

Do you use instant result?

For the league games yes, for European games I watch them and IR the second leg if the lead is basically unassailable.

Thanks mate! No, which is surprising, maybe our quality is matching theirs I guess.

To quote the post game manager talk, putting the result aside, it was a pretty pleasing performance. 4-2  against a team like Sparta is brilliant.

Against the Bosnians it's possible we can make the final qualifying round.

Ortega looks godlike and I like the look of Navarro, he's going to be a very dependable defender.

Yes he does look quite good indeed.

im putting this save on hold for a while, it will return, it's  just getting a little monotonous for me at the moment. I am in the process of creating another save, involving a small country that has a team in a major nations league system. Stay tuned!

End of 2029 Season Review

After a brief hiatus, I've decided to bring this back! I've forgotten about most of this season, but it's evident we were quite dominant, and our defence was a fortress.

Wow.

What a phenomenal effort. We definitely deserved this after our performance, they never really got much offense at all.

After Sparta, this could be a much easier tie. That being said, it will still be a tough fixture.

Yet another league win, our 5th in a row. This was probably our most dominant win, offensively anyway, as we broke the league goalscoring record. It's just a matter of converting this form into semi-success in Europe.

What a classic game. We really did deserve this win, all the close games over the past few seasons that we've lost, but this time we have triumphed. We played for nearly 100 minutes with 10 players and still came out on top.

Another winnable tie, but watch us bottle this one too.
