Seems you've hit a real groove here and it makes for an incredibly satisfying read. Specifically enjoyed the bit about U20 training and how it seems to be going well already. It's the little things. Looking forward to more as always!

Tough but realistic end to the season for an aging squad. Will be interesting to see how you’re able to improve the side without much money.

Such a nice touch when you throw in videos of the goal. Especially liked the Berardi take down and finish vs. Sampdoria. Results wise, not too bad at all and I'm sure it's exciting for you to see how much work there is to be done.

I'm glad you have the correct face for Emre Mor now, I actually watched a lot of him early on in his career. He was arguably the most talented player on the Dortmund team with Ousmane Dembele and Christian Pulisic and supposed to be the star of the next Turkish generation. When he was at Celta de Vigo he had a throne made outside by his pool that he'd post on Instagram with constantly, lol. Unrelated, but why not just promote a Turkish keeper from a youth team to occupy the backup role? I assume you want cover in case the #1 gets injured?

Do you think you’ve been blessed with prolific strikers or is there something specific about your system that helps them score so many goals? Speaking of, how would you rank Demir/Sodje/Traore?

Have to admit I prefer this outcome for the narrative of the save even if it's bittersweet for you. It's nice to see the AI was able to inherit Gencler and at least in the short term, sustain the form you had with them. Plus, you haven't even had a summer to recruit and a preseason with Trabzonspor, so if you are able to eventually win the title at some point, it'll feel well earned. Does second place qualify straight for the CL group stage?

Four years without really playing is a stretch, but Turkey is a common destination for players who have fallen out of favor in the big five leagues so it’s nice to see that replicated here. Are you finding yourself becoming more attached to the club or still wondering what if you stayed?

Don't think I've commented yet this year but closely following your thread like usual. Things are getting very interesting, excited to see if you're able to take another step here or try to find a move elsewhere. Also, love that you've been able to find success playing without the ball, showing it's possible to win with multiple different strategies in this year's version.

Amazing month for the club! Escalona and Zambrano have come on leaps and bounds. The former looks like a striker who can do it all with some game changing player traits while the latter is a prototypical holding midfielder that could also slide to centerback seamlessly with the huge improvements defensively. What are your initial impressions of Thijssen? Results wise, seems like the focus in Europe has to be avoiding defeat away to Shakhtar to get you over the line to third.

Wow, huge results that set up the rest of the season nicely. What is your target for the Champions League? If Shakhtar are around Ajax's level, maybe sneaking a third place finish and advancing to the Europa knockouts?

Super excited for this season! The competitive nature of your squad reminds me of City in a way in that there are some players who will start big games but nobody is safe week to week. Keeps the level high and doesn’t allow for complacency.
