4/9 would mean that you would have to put 9 on to get 4 back. So if you put 4 on you would get 9, and the 4 you put on back. If you put 8 on you would get 18 back + the 8 you put on.

5/4 would mean you have to put 5 on to get 4 back, so if you put 1 on you would get one quarter of 5 back + the 1 you put on.

That confuses me even more. Can someone help me here please?

Arsenal: 4/5(fav) Draw: 2-1 Tottenham: 3-1 - 2 on a Draw

Sunderland: 3-1 Draw: 2-1 Man Utd: 4-5(Fav) - 2 on Manchester United Victory

Thats what I put, I'd lose 2 on the Arsenal Spurs game, so what would I get for the Sunderland Man U game?

Dunno if I'm doing this right but if I put 4 on Villa to beat Pompey then I get nothing, but from the 6 I put on West Ham at 13-8 do I get 9.75 in winnings as well as the 6 I bet? Does this mean I end that round with a total of 15.75 leaving me with 55.75 for next round?

I'll have :-

5 on Man United to beat Sunderland @ 4-5

5 on Mboro and Bolton to draw @ 11-5

Man United won @ 4-5 so I get 4 plus my original stake of 5 = 9

Mboro & Bolton drew @ 11-5 so I get 11 plus my original stake of 5 = 16

Giving me a total of 65 credits.

I had 5 credits on Man Utd to win at 4-5. That gives me 4 credits plus my 5 credits back which equals 9 credits.

I had 5 credits on Chelsea to win at 4-6. I think that gives me 3.33 credits plus my 5 credits back which equals 8.33 credits.

So that's 17.33 credits back for my 10 credits that I used giving me a new total of 57.33 credits.

This is incorrect. If the odds are 4/9 and you put 4 on you do not get 9 back, you get 1.75 (ish) plus your 4 back, giving a total of 5.75 for your 4 credits if you win.

If you put 8 on you would get about 3.5 back, plus the 8 you put on which gives a total of 11.5 credits back for your 8 credit stake.

This is correct, if you put 5 credits on at 5/4 and win you would win 1.25 credits and get your 5 credits back, giving you a total of 6.25.

The easiest way to work it out is to turn the odds into decimals and multiply it by your stake. So 4/9 becomes 0.44. Multiply this by your 4 credit stake and you get 1.75(ish). Add that to your 4 credit stake and you get a total of 5.75 credits back.

This week

50 - 10 = 40

a) Lost 4 credits

b) 3 credits returned, won 3 more

c) 3 credits returned, won 3.75 more

Return of 12.75 credits

Overall

40 + 12.75 = 52.75 credits

the united odds works out at 1/1.25 so double the basically double it for your stake so its 2/2.50...your return on that bet is 2.5+2(stake) = 4.5

so your on 50.5 or 51

Right I think this is right, I'd like someone to check for me though

That makes 5.6 credits + the 7 that I out on. Giving me a total of 52.6 credits, I think.

4/5 = 1.80 x 7 = 12.6 = 13 so your correct

once again im sorry for the delay of the next fixtures because im swamped in work atm, but will ease down in a week or two so from then...regular updates :)

Arkitekt88, I don't think that you can blame anyone for thinking that the sign-up is dead as you had not posted for a very long time. I think 'blowcrapup' had also though that it was dead, and liked the idea so planned to continue the sign-up in his own right.

I did think it was dead but I also PM'd him. To be fair he did get back to me but had already posted that message. Maybe I should have waited a bit longer before making the list but as you can see there was still interest in it. Apolgies as I didn't want to steal the idea but rather continue what was a good idea.
