Fulham transfers

Out:

Brede Hangeland and Clint Dempsey go to HSV in a combined deal worth £16m

Mark Schwarzer goes to Leeds for £2m

In:

Brede Hangeland's replacement, Benedikt Howedes is to arive from Schalke, the fee is thought to be around £15.5m

We are also waiting to confirm one sale as well as the purchase of a replacement goalkeeper. Both from within the league as Howedes is our 3rd foreign transfer, adding to Welbeck and Suarez from the start of the window.

Napoli continue to strengthen

With fan forums spewing bile and hatred after last season's abysmal performances, Gianpaolo Della Torre today admitted that his transfer policy had been flawed. Standing alongside manager Pep Guardiola, the mad chairman introduced the new signings that he has enforced upon his manager.

First of all, joining from Tottingham... sorry, Tottenham, English right-back Kyle Walker. Sky Sports believes that Walker has signed for a fee of around £14m, on wages of just £16k. To shore up the other side of the defence, Porto's Brazilian left back Alex Sandro, who signs for a reported fee of £9.5m on £26k wages. Finally, to fill the goalkeeping void left by Morgan De Sanctis' frequent injuries, Arsenal starlet Wojciech Sczezsny arrives for £11m, on a wage of £46k. Finally, the club have also retained Jack Wilshere on a season-long loan.

With that in mind, blocked transfers are:

Cavani, Hamsik, Douglas Costa, Inler, Walker, Alex Sandro, Sczezsny and Zouma

If players are automatically blocked in first season, then add Fierro, Nolli and Danté

----

Bids will be considered for the following players:

Lavezzi

Eduardo Vargas

Miloy

Khizsnichenko

De Sanctis/Rosati

Anyone else who is rubbish

so hang on we can actually sign anybody any superstar we want so what was the point of starting with low rep teams again

i only thought we could buy player depending on our rep

Haven't you noticed each window people have bought players that would never even think of going to that team? The point was to make it interesting and to create a league much like the Premier League. That would be impossible with 22 of the best teams in the world. Also, we don't want to be able to win the Champions League just like that. Basically just a show of progression.

HSV Chairman announce more new signings

HSV chairman Nathan Walker is said to be delighted to have finally signed long term defensive target Brede Hangeland, he has come out as saying that him and the Fulham Chairman had been in talks about Hangeland since the two clubs moved over to San Marino. Walker also announced yet another midfield signing in Clint Dempsey also from Fulham.

The two between them cost £16m with £10m of that being on Hangeland.

"The Hangeland deal was one we were hoping to do last summer but obviously that didnt happen back then, we also tried to sign him in January but again that didnt happen, and although the transfer fee was slightly more that we had hoped for at £10m he is still a good buy and will team up with Collocini well. We are delighted to have finally got then deal done."

yeah there would obviously with only 4 of the top 22 team actually in europe would mean there is more competition in europe depending on the teams you pick of-course

If you take the 22 best teams in Europe, you left with the rest. In the first season, one of those 22 will win it without a doubt, after that it will be that same team again almost certainly, because it would take all the other teams several seasons to even get close to the ability of our champions league team. Same for the Europa League.

Doing it the way we have, we had plenty of teams in Europe last season and the best we got was a Quarter Finalist in the Europa League. Thats what I call a challenge :)

We'd have to use the current top 22 teams, because the way I set this up was to be fair for everyone. If you used that list above then someone would have to be Boca Juniors because they were the 22nd person to sign up, whilst someone else is Barcelona or Real Madrid... Who win out of Boca Juniors and Barcelona?

depends who you buy sign 2 top players and a couple of others ho other teams are selling and you would have a game on your hands. Chelsea beat Barca and they are the 6th best English team ,but i know what you are saying i just got confused with the whole transfer thing i had it in my head it was going by reputation.

Chelsea would still be in the top 22 either way :) Anyway, just another point to put forward...

Manchester City became rich through a Billionaire Owner, they were considered to be an average team at best in the Premier League, but the owner decided to throw the cash at players and he managed to buy himself some top players, despite their reputation. He managed to buy Robinho for example.

Thats basically what Ri916 has done, except his club isn't wealthy, but it's a Leeds United tradition :D He's thrown the money at Lionel Messi and Barcelona can't turn down £91mil and Messi is a money grabber and accepted the £335k a week to become to most paid player in the world!

We all know most footballers are money grabbers!

Anji - Transfers

More action from the League runners up as they announce that youngster Drexler has been let go on loan for a fee of £1.5million and Universidad de Chile will be paying his wages for the season.

Also with the recent signings of Asenjo and Adler, Muslera has become surplus to requirements. He has been sent to Fulham in exchange for Bryan Ruiz and £2million.

That is all for now, but with an answering phone full of messages more news from the Russian club is imminent.

Sounds good, but only let them take over a team. Don't remove let's say Bolton (I know Bolton is active though!) for being inactive but let someone join the league as Sunderland. Just make sure you advertise that it may be quite a challenge :p

I can't put Sunderland into the league anyway, so they'd have to be Bolton.

certainly not as much of an exciting deadline day. Do we think this is down to lots of inactive people, or is it cos I bought messi and everyone's saving up to steal him off me when I go down :D. Also think that their needs to be a 'leeds financial crisis' section to updates from now on TM ;)
