RubenJ
commentator here says that Robinho is the first player since Bebeto, 12 years ago, who scores for the Brazilian national team while playing for a Brazilian club (and even then, Robinho is loaned out from City). PMLF
commentator here says that Robinho is the first player since Bebeto, 12 years ago, who scores for the Brazilian national team while playing for a Brazilian club (and even then, Robinho is loaned out from City). That's probably true, last time Brazil had a decent amount of home-based players was in 2002, but they were mostly defensive players (Gilberto Silva and Kléberson) or bench warmers (like Kaká). Unfortunately Brazil-based players are under-represented in the current team... Robinho was also the first Santos player to score in a WC in 40 years. gersguy_13
yes it does, its on the left chest, just saw it now It's a Dutch flag, not Argentina

Oypus
This ref seems to be playing hardball with all challenges. Then he let the players yell at him. He's not doing a good job.
Venn
Dunga's antics can't be good for the team, can they? Not that it shows, of course.

Cinnabon09
yeah. the japanese ref clearly not respected here. hasnt done anything majorly wrong this world cup though
PMLF
Since Pelé?? Yes, Santos had really bad times after Pelé retired, so that's not really a surprise, even if Brazil fielded a full Brazil-based team.
Woodmansee
Some good stuff from Kaka there, and the Holland defense looks like they got their act together.
