heathxxx Posted February 24, 2010 Share Posted February 24, 2010 I've uploaded a shortlist of French amateur club players to this thread: FM10 - French Lower League Freebies!! They've all got generally good attributes and will all be good quality for lower league clubs, such as League 1 down to BSN/BSS. Additional benefit is that you can sign many French amateur club's players for free, without any compensation. I've signed several for Granada CF in the Spanish Segunda B4 (Spain's third tier) and they're all performing well so far. You either need to load all French players at the start of a save (even with French leagues selected), or use one of the "huge" .ddt database files, which can usually be found over in the Editors Hideaway. ..oh, and it only took me three hours to manually click through every French CFA club (all four divisions) and all the non-playable French non-league and amateur clubs!! He has the most bizarre combination of stats - all physical stats 15 except natural fitness at 16, terrible skill stats (mainly 1s) except for corners, long throws and free kicks (14s - useful) and an extraordinary mixture of 1s and high scores in mental stats. Your assman may well say he isn't good enough for the club but, of course, you have an idiot assman anyway in the BSS/N and what does he know? Fear not! This guy regularly scores goals (finishing 1!!), provides assists (passing 1!!) and wins the ball for you (tackling 3!!). He normally averages out performances at about 8.2 or better for me over a period. The best I had from him was 9.4 in a match. profii Posted June 6, 2010 Share Posted June 6, 2010 Most of my dealings are free transfers as I'm playing with Swindon and they never have any £££!! first season I got Mifsud who I'm sure most people know about, he got 14 goal in 22 gamess but struggled to push charlie austin out the side. i got Kevin Bobson who is a left winger, didn't really amount to much in league one but has no problem skipping past right wing backs in the championship. I also got another left winger Stefan Milojevic who couldnt break into the side behind Bobson but I think he would be of interest to any League 2 manager at least. i also have a lot of free transfers in the 2nd season for the championship so i will post them as they may be of interest to some people. Bob Malcom, end of contract at brisbane roar, good backup in the championship with 16 for passing and creativity. Jan Blazek, end of contract at slovan liberec, brilliant poacher aged 22 who has scored 23 in 18 so far! Tomas Grigar, end of contract at teplice, goalkeeper who has good stats but perhaps a bit eccentric, doing well anyway Federico Nieto, end of contract at Colon, big strong target man who has not had so many appearances due to Blazeks form but has got 9 in 19 so far. Rene Klingbeil, end of contract at Aue (German 3rd Div) a strange find but very good wing back who will play either side Anduele Pryor, end of contract at viteese, winger of either side who hasn't managed to break into the first team but a reliable backup never the less David Gray, end of contract at Man Utd, right back who again isnt in the first team but reliable when called upon Lee Carsley and Salif Diao, 2 ageing centre mids who get released but do a job in the championship anyway, Diao is a bit injury prone for me. Julian Bennett, released from notts forest, had to loan him for cover in the first season and i think this link to the club made him choose us as a lot of teams came in for him iirc tamir cohen, relased from bolton, reliable centre mid, nuff said! richard garcia, released from hull, super signing for me, 15 in 21 goal on the right wing!!
