The first phase will have the twelve teams divided into two groups. The teams will play within each group, in addition to a cross-group rivalry (for example: Oriente vs. Blooming). The best-three teams in each group will advance to the Winner's Hexagonal, while the rest of the teams will play the Loser's Hexagonal. In each hexagonal, each team will play within each group. The winner of the Winner's Hexagonal will be declared the champion and will qualify to 2011 Copa Libertadores with the Bolivia 2 berth. The runner-up will qualify to the 2011 Copa Sudamericana with the Bolivia 1 berth and the winner of the Loser's Hexagonal will qualify to 2010 Copa Sudamericana with the Bolivia 3 berth. Torneo de Invierno - The Torneo de Invierno (English: Winter Tournament) will be what was traditionally known as the Play-Off. The first stage will have the twelve teams play against a local rival over two legs. The winners of each tie and the two best losers will advance to the quarterfinals. The cup will continue on a single-elimination basis with two legs per stage. The winner will qualify to the 2011 Copa Sudamericana as the Bolivia 3 berth. Torneo Clausura - The Clausura championship will be a double round-robin league format. The team with the most points after the twenty-two rounds will be declared the champion and will qualify to the 2011 Copa Libertadores as the Bolivia 1 berth. The runner-up will qualify to the 2011 Copa Libertadores as the Bolivia 3 berth and the third placed-team will qualify to the 2011 Copa Sudamericana with the Bolivia 2 berth. Relegation - Relegation will be determined after the Clausura. The team with the worst two-year average will be relegated to the Regional Leagues, while the next-worst team will contest a playoff against the runner-up of the 2010 Copa Simon Bolivar. Football Manager System Stage 1 - Apertura championship in a single division played between February and July where teams play each other twice (over 22 games). The winner is crowned the Apertura champion, the top two teams qualify for the Copa Libertadores. The bottom team is automatically relegated and the second worst team plays off against the 2nd best Level 2 team. Stage 2 - Torneo Clausura is played between July and October and comprises 12 teams divided into two groups of 6, playing each other twice (10 games). The top 4 teams from each group qualifies for the cup round where teams play each other twice, home and away, in a quarter, semi and final to crown the Tornea Clausura Champion. Stage 3 - Play-off comprises the top 10 teams in a two leg cup format played in October and November. Level 2 - Copa Simón Bolívar Actual System 18 teams divided into 3 groups of 6 teams playing each other twice home and away. The best placed teams qualify to the play-offs to decide promotion places. The 2nd placed team plays a promotion / relegation play-off with the 2nd bottom team from the top tier. There are no relegation places. Cup - Copa Aerosur Pre-season tournament played in January / February between the top teams from Bolivar (who are guarenteed entry) and other highest placed teams. Both divisions comprise 12 teams. The First and Second Stages will be a double round-robin format where the teams play the others twice (once at home, once away). The winners of each stage will play a two-legged tie in the Third Stage for the title. The two highest non-stage winners in the aggregate table will play each another in a Third Stage playoff for third place. Should the same team win both stages, they will automatically be crowned a champion. A two-legged tie will be held between the next best two places in the aggregate table to determine finishes second and third. The two teams at the bottom of the aggregate table of the first two stages will be relegated to the Serie B and to the third tier respectively. Football Manager System The top 2 levels of Ecuador football leagues are both 12 team divisions. Teams play each other four times (44 date league) through January to November. In order to simulate each 22 game opening / closing part of the season I have created a league break in June / July after the 22nd game which helps to provide the realism of a two section league and also follows the actual league dates. There are no play-offs and the team finishing top of the 44 date league at the end of the season is the champion. The bottom 2 teams from Serie A are automatically relegated. From 2008 there are two champions each year corresponding to the winners of the two tournaments played during the season, the Apertura (or "Opening Tournament) and Clausura (Closing Tournament). This replaces the old system in which the Paraguayan Football Association divided its championships into two sections, the Torneo Apertura and Torneo Clausura. The winners of each tournament staged a playoff to decide each year's national champion. If the same team won both stages, it automatically won the national championship. The team with the worst average points over the last three years is automatically relegated to the second division league, and the second-worst team plays a playoff match against the second division runner-up. The winner of the playoff match plays in the first division the following year. Football Manager System The 12 team Primera Division is played during the calendar year. Teams play each other four times (44 date league) through January to December. In order to simulate each 22 game opening / closing part of the season I have created a league break in June / July after the 22nd game which helps to provide the realism of a two section league and also follows the actual league dates. The bottom placed team is automatically relegated and a play-off is played between the 11th placed team and the second division runner up. División Intermedia Actual League System Since 2006, División Intermedia is the name for the second division and 12 teams are part of it. The champion of this league gains the right to participate in the First Division and the second placed team plays a play-off game against the second-worst team of the First Division to decide who will play in Paraguay's top division of football. The last two teams are relegated to the third division (called "Primera de Ascenso" for teams from Gran Asunción and UFI Champions Cup for teams outside of the Gran Asunción area). The two spots left by relegated teams are occupied by one team from the Primera de Ascenso and one team from the UFI Champions Cup tournament which is a tournament where teams from the whole country compete, giving them a chance to eventually make it to the first division. Football Manager System The 12 team División Intermedia is played during the calendar year. Teams play each other four times (44 date league) through January to December. In order to simulate each 22 game opening / closing part of the season I have created a league break in June / July after the 22nd game which helps to provide the realism of a two section league and also follows the actual league dates. The two teams in 11th and 12th are both automatically relegated and a play-off is played between the First Division 11th placed team and the second division runner up. The winners of these series move to the semi-final series. The home field advantage in the playoffs is given to the team with the best record in the group stage. The division has 2 groups of 6 teams, they will play twice (home and away) with the teams of their own group (10 games) and once with the teams of the other group (6 games), for a total of 16 games. Teams play a double round-robin format. During the course of a season (Apertura or Clausura), each club plays every other club twice, once at home and once away, for a total of 18 games. Teams are ranked by total points, with the top four clubs at the end of the season progressing through to the finals. If points are equal between two or more clubs, goal difference usually determines their placement. Although when it comes to qualifying for the finals, if the team in fourth and fifth spot are equal on points, then a Repechaje or Playoff is needed to determine which team gains entry into finals. A system of promotion and relegation exists between the Primera División and the Segunda División. In May each year, at the conclusion of both the apertura and clausura seasons, the team with the least amount of points on aggregate over both seasons, is automatically relegated to the Segunda División, while the team with the second least amount of points must participate in a Repechaje or Playoff with the runner-up of the Segunda División. The winner of this home and away playoff will be guaranteed a spot in the Primera División for the following season. This means that every year, a maximum of two teams could be relegated from the Primera División depending on the results of the Repechaje between the second last placed team in the Primera División and the runner-up of the Segunda División. Football Manager System The 10 team Primera División is played between August to May. Teams play each other four times (36 date league). In order to simulate each 18 game opening / closing part of the season I have created a league break in December / early January after the 18th game which helps to provide the realism of a two section league and also follows the actual league dates. The top team after 36 matches is crowned the Champion qualifies for the CONCACAF Champions League. The bottom team is automatically relegated and a relegation play-off is played between the second worst team and the second best team from the second tier. Segunda Division Actual League System The 22 team second division is split into two 11 team groups, although a maximum of 24 teams can compete. The teams play each other over two (the Apertura or Clausura) Championship periods. The combined table determines the promotion and relegation places. Football Manager System The 22 team second division is played in a single league with each team playing each other twice, home and away. The bottom three teams are automatically relegated. Cup - Copa Presidente 32 team cup competition. 5 rounds played over two legs. ------------------------------------- To make these leagues playable I have added: All missing city population and attraction data (where possible) to assist league development All missing stadiums to teams in active and inactive leagues (where possible) All missing club nicknames Added average and low attendance details for all clubs to ensure accurate attendances Missing colours for some clubs 4 El Salvador media sources 5 realistic awards for the top division division The leagues have been researched with all transfer windows, discipline rules, prize money, TV matches, fixture rules, league dates and league breaks as realistic as possible. ------------------------------------- El Salvador Downloads: Changelist 19th February 2010 Version 10.02.02 for FM2010 and 10.2 database - Download Here • Fixed club colours for CD Brasilla. 13th February 2010 10.02.01 for Football Manager 2010 Database 10.2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Guatemala Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala Actual League System Currently the 12 team league season is divided into two tournaments. The Apertura, which is played between July to November, and the Clausura which is played between January and May. The first 6 clubs in the standings at the end of each competition participate in the playoffs to determine the champion, 1st and 2nd place teams qualify directly to semi-finals, while the others have to play in the quarter-finals. The winners of the Apertura and Clausura tournaments participate in the CONCACAF Champions League. At the end of the season, the 12th placed team (the team with the least number of points) in the final table standings (the combined standings of both, the Apertura and Clausura tournaments) is relegated to the Primera División de Ascenso (2nd division of the league) automatically at the end of the Clausura tournament in late May. The teams finishing 10th and 11th in the final standings enter into a two-legged playoff with the second- and third-placed clubs of the Primera División de Ascenso, respectively. The playoff winners play in the top division while the losers spend the next season in the second division. Football Manager System In order to replicate the Opening and Closing Championships which each provide a qualifier to the CONCACAF Champions League two competitions have been created. The top 2 teams from each group qualify for the Championship Play-off, where the semi and final are both played over two legs. The winner qualifies for the CONCACAF Champions League. The bottom team of the Closing Championship is relegated and the 10th and 11th placed teams play each other to decide the 2nd relegation place. Primera División de Ascenso The Primera División de Ascenso is the second highest level of Guatemalan football. The 20 teams are divided into two 10 team groups, organised geographically. Each group plays an Opening and Closing Championship. The winner of each Championship (4) qualifies for the end of season play-offs to determine the promotion places. The winner of the play-off gets promoted with the looser getting a chance to play-off against the team that finished in last place in the top division. Football Manager System The 20 teams are divided into two 10 team groups. A single 36 game championship is played in each group with teams playing each other 4 times. The top 4 teams from each group qualify for the end of season play-offs to determine the two promotion places. 1 promotion place is allocated to each group. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To make these leagues playable I have added: All missing city population and attraction data (where possible) to assist league development All missing stadiums to teams in active and inactive leagues (where possible) All missing club nicknames Added average and low attendance details for all clubs to ensure accurate attendances Missing colours for some clubs 9 Guatemalan media sources 14 realistic awards for both divisions The leagues have been researched with all transfer windows, discipline rules, prize money, TV matches, fixture rules, league dates and league breaks as realistic as possible. ------------------------------------- Guatemala Downloads: 15th February 2010 Version 10.02.01 Levels 1 and 2 for FM2010 and 10.2 database - Download Here

There is no relegation from this tier as there are no teams created in a lower tier. ------------------------------------- To make these leagues playable I have added: All missing city population and attraction data (where possible) to assist league development All missing stadiums to teams in active (where possible) All missing club nicknames Added average and low attendance details for all clubs to ensure accurate attendances Missing colours for some clubs 6 Nicaragua media / TV and newspaper sources 4 realistic awards for the top division division clubs The leagues have been researched with all transfer windows, discipline rules, prize money, TV matches, fixture rules, league dates and league breaks as realistic as possible. ------------------------------------- Nicaragua Downloads: 21.03.2010 - 10.03.05 - Nicaragua Levels 1 and 2 - Download ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Panama Liga Panameña de Fútbol Actual League System The league is played between August and May. It contains 10 teams. The league's season is divided into two tournaments called Apertura and Clausura. Both tournaments have an identical format in the periods August to December and January to May. Each tournament has two stages: the first stage is a double round-robin round where each teams plays every other team twice, once at home and once away. The top-four teams advance to a final stage, a single-elimination culminating with a final match. The first stage of both tournaments are combined into an aggregate table to determine relegation. The team with the fewest points is relegated to the Primera A for the following season. The champions of both tournaments qualify to the CONCACAF Champions League. Football Manager System Football Manager System The 10 team Liga Panameña de Fútbol (ANAPROF) is played between August to May. Teams play each other four times (36 date league). In order to simulate each 18 game opening / closing part of the season I have created a league break in December / early January after the 18th game which helps to provide the realism of a two section league and also follows the actual league dates. The top four teams advance to a Championship Play-off to decide the Liga Panameña de Fútbol Champion and qualifier for the CONCACAF Champions League. The bottom team is automatically relegated with a play-off to decide the second relegation place between the 2nd best team from the second tier. Cup - There is no national cup competition in Panama The first two rounds are played over a single leg. The third round, quarter and semi final and final are all played over two legs. ------------------------------------- To make these leagues playable I have added: All missing city population and attraction data (where possible) to assist league development All missing stadiums to teams in active and inactive leagues (where possible) All missing club nicknames Added average and low attendance details for all clubs to ensure accurate attendances Missing colours for some clubs 2 Panama media sources 4 realistic awards for the playable division The leagues have been researched with all transfer windows, discipline rules, prize money, TV matches, fixture rules, league dates and league breaks as realistic as possible. ------------------------------------- Panama Downloads: 13/02/2010 - Panama Level 1 - Version 10.02.02 for Football Manager 2010 Database 10.2 - Here *Changelist*

Fixed league break date to ensure it occurs at the mid point of the season

uncle ron
I dont understand why some counties dont have a cup competition, Howeever great work Uncle ROn In real life not all national associations in South and Central America run their own Cup Competitions as the Copa Liberadores is seen as the pinnacle of cup competition. Also.. many leagues are played over cup formats so there is often no need to have a separate cup competition.

uncle ron
Too bad this countries is completley uninteresting. Can't you make USA or Canada? Ah OK. For FM2010 I'm only planning on releasing leagues for the unplayable nations in Central and South America. So, for now, unfortunately I have no time or plans to extend any existing leagues, but might for future games. Sorry.

Veg
Uncle Ron: First of all I have to say that this is amazing work, I'm going to use most of them. Second: Have you read this thread: http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=165485 If you read through this you will find away to be able to add stages, and also downloading the advanced panels will make it possible for you to add even more accuracy to the league structures. Blanchflower1
OK, a quick question. Some of these leagues are compatible with 10.3 patch but the others are they compatible with the latest patch and database? What would happen if I choose the 10.3 database? Will this still work with the leagues? Thanks!
Guest
Likewise with my lower league Brazil. =\ Umm.. there is only 1 lower national league division that is not in the game and you can get it here. There are lower state divisions that needs adding.. Id add them but it would take some time, cause i have zero experience with the editor.
