Eles Gergo
This was on this forum years back it was quite popular. What made me angry that suddenly every sport site is writing about this, in my country and abroad as well. Pity that they can't come up with new stuff and they just copy paste each other. cruyff14
That's awesome, heard some rumours about it but didn't realise it was actually true. Might try it myself I have a friend who's applied in the past for the Reading & Q.P.R jobs. He also wrote a letter to Roman Abramovich asking for a donation to the cats protection league. He didn't get a reply though the tight git!

SI Staff Dean Gripton Posted March 2, 2011 SI Staff Share Posted March 2, 2011 I applied for the Rotherham United job aged 18 in 1985. Norman Hunter got it, but I got a nice letter from the chairman. [/Martin Peters]

Mansleg
M'boro would probably have been better off by signing him in hindsight.

tom_numbers
Nah, it was a well done piece of PR by Gibson to secure his rep as one of the best Premier League chairmen, even though he was cutting back on spending. He could do with something like that now, he's not the most popular at the moment

tom_numbers
Neither of you are. We all know Fergie will outlive all of us. He's like the FM manager. He never retires, never dies. He just stops ageing when he reaches 100.
