About 3 years ago, he was "Definitely not staying in the game" I recommended him to be a good coach, and it now says "Probably not staying in the game" As the months go on, I'll keep saying he'll be a good coach, and hopefully he will stay in the game, and become a coach for me

kroblues
As I said above, once Josef Svec hit goal #990 I'd then do a run down of the ten goals leading up to his milestone. So here we go: Goal #990: An error by the Cliftonville goalkeeper lets Svec tap in for his hat-trick goal in the match (Score: East Belfast 7-0 Cliftonville) Goal #991: In the same match, Svec gets his fourth in injury time when he curls a free kick in, a hand from the Cliftonville goalie not enough to keep it out. (Score: East Belfast 8-0 Cliftonville) Goal #992: After being played through by Roy Turner, playing against his former club, Svec smashes it home from the edge of the box. (Score East Belfast 1-1 Man Utd) Goal #993: 28 seconds into the match, Svec is played through by Spence and he cooly puts it past the keeper. (Score: Larne 0-1 East Belfast) Goal #994: 12 minutes into the second half a corner comes over and Svec heads home from the far post. (Score: Larne 0-7 East Belfast) Goal #995: The hat-trick is complete with twenty minutes to go, a ball down the side of the defence from the right winger lets Svec smash home yet another goal from the corner of the box. (Score: Larne 0-8 East Belfast) Goal #996: Only a short time after his third of the game comes a fourth, as he latches onto a long ball and puts it away yet again (Score: Larne 0-9 East Belfast) Goal #997: After a couple of games without scoring, we play Limavady. Spence put us a goal up and then after a couple of ricochets the ball comes to Svec on the penalty spot, who hammers it home. (Score: Limavady Utd 0-2 East Belfast) Goal #998: Not long after #997, the ball comes upfield and the left winger puts it on a plate for Svec to tap home. (Score: Limavady Utd 0-3 East Belfast) Goal #999: And almost straight after the kick off for the second half Svec makes a run into the right wing channel, cuts inside and blasts it across the goalkeeper. (Score: Limavady Utd 0-6 East Belfast) Then he got injured. A broken leg :****( Completely joking The 1000th, if/when it comes will get a post all to itself. kroblues
And the 1000th came not much after the 999th. 78 minutes gone in the game against Limavady and Svec reaches the milestone fittingly, as he scores probably the best goal of his career, dribbling nearly half the pitch and beating a couple of players before blasting it home from just outside the box. And the obligatory screenshot:

kroblues
Now he's there, here's a full rundown of his career till he reached the 1000 mark. He won't be scoring as many now as I'll be switching Spence into the right striker role to get him more goals. Of course, if that doesn't come off Svec may well find himself back in his familiar position. NepentheZ
The 2nd post now looks like this, and will be moved forward for FM10 too. The 1,000 Goal Club : Intro : The 1,000 goal club is for those exclusive players that manage to reach the 1,000 goal mark in any FM game. These players will be carried forward through each rendition, and will be updated as new players, from new versions get inducted into this. There are 2 players for sure that are missing from this list. First, the amazing Danny Roberts. Hopefully daf can dig up every picture he has left, and gives me some exact figures so I can add him in here. Also from FM06, is Gareth Black (also managed by me). You can only see that he has score 257 goals in 118 caps. However, in the 2 seasons, he played after this, he scored more for England. (which you can see in the History Screen of the 2019 and 2020 seasons. In these two seasons, he has Played 21, and scored 59. Now, in the "Gareth Black" player screen shot, he is in the Summer of 2018 (so the 18/19 season) and has played 3, scored 9 for England. If we take off the 3 games, and 9 goals, it leaves us with 12 games and 50 goals, which is the extra on his England international record.
santy001
Keirrison is also missing from this, he scored over 1,700 goals in his career. santy001
Just noticed something odd, when looking at his history it says Keirrison's transfer to real madrid was £228m, which is never right because the offer accepted, and the record paid for a player etc is £140m which is the same transfer of Keirrison to real madrid lol. Anyway, I now have the joys of uploading a shedload of screenshots lol.
NepentheZ
It possibly would have been £140,000,000 + Extra fee's & Monthly installments. The transfer total will only be seen as £140,000,000.

I'm going to have to keep on playing up until he hits the 2,000 mark now; he should hit it this season. Also never saw the transfer for Keirrison, but it was only 70m or so upfront, I have had issues with a few transfers. Martin Rusol was loaned to a side with a future fee of £4.75m and it somehow ended up going through at £16m. It was started on 9.2 though, so there's a few bugs still in there. kroblues
Despite being 32, Svec still continued to score at over one a game, even though he was in the left hand striker role and our killer April that contained 19 games meant he didn't play as much as he could have. He got another 67 goals to add to his tally, and also ended up with 36 assists. Svec Profile Svec Season 1: 8 goals Svec Season 2:78 goals Svec Season 3: 158 goals Svec Season 4: 248 goals Svec Season 5: 313 goals Svec Season 6: 346 goals Svec Season 7: 443 goals Svec Season 8 : 551 goals Svec Season 9 : 675 goals Svec Season 10 : 770 goals Svec Season 11 : 857 goals Svec Season 12 : 964 goals Svec Season 13 : 1031 goals Svec Summary: Appearances: 705 Goals: 1031 Int'l Caps: 3 Int'l Goals: 0 Svec as he was when he reached 1000: http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w180/kroblues/Svec1000.jpg And the second person I can hopefully get to 1000 at some point; Paul Spence. He had an amazing season, breaking 100 for the first time in his career. This included a hat-trick in our UEFA Cup final win against Basel. He broke Svec's record for league goals in a season, scoring 61 this year, and also passed 250 goals for East Belfast in the process. If we keep hold of him I reckon he can get 1500. Paul Spence summary so far (Age 20) Appearances: 220 Goals: 283 Int'l Caps: 22 Int'l Goals: 9 Total Goals: 292 I'll get a screenshot once he passes 500, if I keep hold of him that is. Do I keep posting here or move it over to the FM10 thread?
