kevhamster
No, the only time I ever adjust my tactics is when I have a player sent off, and even then it is just a change in formation. Wow. Must be a hell of a system you have there. I'd thought I'd nailed it with the diamond formation and instructions I'd had now I've started FM15, but it quickly went wrong (as it always seems to do!). dafuge
Canvey Island - Barclays Premier League - 2040/41 Despite a brilliant league season, we slipped up in the major cups last season. This was the season where I cleared out the squad and replaced it with younger players. League Table - not quite the 100 points of last season, but still a great season. Community Shield - the scoreline flattered them. Capital One Cup - it took extra time for us to clinch the cup. FA Cup - it took a couple of replays for us to scrape a cup win. UEFA Champions League - there were a few crazy scorelines as we won the big one again. Transfers - we didn't quite make the huge profit I had hoped for, but we had the intended clear out. Squad - plenty of room for improvement, but the squad is young. Finances - we made a decent profit. Key Player Profiles: Oliveira - our new main striker. Icaro - the supporting striker. Joel McInnes - he's had the chance to shine. Mauro Medina - a quality winger. Mathias Ceccherini - retrained as a right winger. dafuge
After waiting 20 years I have finally been given the opportunity to request a new stadium. Since 2025 we have not been able to expand beyond the 15762 capacity limit of the ground that was built upon promotion to the Championship. Our average attendance has been above 15677 (99.5% capacity) every single year since that expansion was completed. Our league attendances this season stand at 99.92%, selling out every home game apart from one (Rotherham). The board rejected a new stadium
dafuge
Canvey Island - Barclays Premier League - 2041/42 With the young squad we built last season, things could only get better. League Table - for the first time, we went the season unbeaten. Community Shield - the season opener was completely one sided. UEFA Super Cup - this one was a bit closer. FIFA Club World Cup - we held on to our early lead. Capital One Cup - we slipped up here with a late goal. FA Cup - no mistakes here, although the final was close. UEFA Champions League - unbeaten, although we left it late in the final. Transfers - a few swaps, to make some money. Squad - there are a few signings who haven't impressed, so there are improvements to be made. Finances - a decent profit. Key Player Profiles: Oliveira - top scorer. Icaro - a brilliant second striker. Joel McInnes - a great midfielder. Valery Golubev - the expensive defender. Mathias Ceccherini - playing superbly on the right. UEFA Super Cup - we were just far more clinical than Bayern. FIFA Club World Cup - the usual one sided match against the South Americans Capital One Cup - we got one stage further than last season, but slipped up again. FA Cup - this was a big shock. UEFA Champions League - no problems here as we won the final in the second half with just ten men. Transfers - a big loss as I replaced a failed signing. Squad - I have a few players I would like to replace, but I cannot find anyone good enough. Finances - a loss, but the balance is still decent. Key Player Profiles: Icaro - he was made the main striker this season. Oliveira - played the supporting role. Mauro Medina - a brilliant winger. Community Shield - it took penalties to get the win we deserved. UEFA Super Cup - an easy win. FIFA Club World Cup - a lot closer than usual. Capital One Cup - we dominated in every match. FA Cup - Liverpool gave us a scare, but we got our revenge on Charlton for beating the streak. UEFA Champions League - we had a tough time in Milan, but that all changed in the final. dafuge
Have you tried telling the board you'll leave? I've not risked it, no. In the older versions of the game, a new stadium would be approved as soon as the 20 year wait was over. On the more recent versions it seems like it takes an extra five or so years for the board to agree to it, no matter how obvious it is that a new stadium is needed. I'd be interested to know if anyone has had a new stadium built 20-22 years after the last one.

dafuge
Canvey Island - Barclays Premier League - 2045/46 The wait for a new stadium continued, but the news of a new tycoon owner has made things interesting. League Table - it's another one of those crazy seasons, but Arsenal escaped this time. Community Shield - an easy enough start to the season. UEFA Super Cup - we were lucky to win this one. FIFA Club World Cup - there was no luck involved in this one. Capital One Cup - we destroyed everyone, then made a mess of the final. FA Cup - the replays caused havoc with our fixtures, but we just about kept going in the final. UEFA Champions League - our 55 game unbeaten run came to an end, but we still won the trophy. Transfers - nothing but a couple of youth players going out on loan. Squad - there's really nothing to do until a few players start hitting 30. Finances - the £75m from the new owner helped. Key Player Profiles: Icaro - top scorer again. Oliveira - made a decent case for his spot back in the team. Mathias Ceccherini - brilliant again. Mauro Medina - as was the other winger. Terry Cardwell - our top rated player by my assistant.
