I was close to getting liverpool first title when i downloaded the patch, and now the game crushes evrytime on 11 february 2009. It works perfectly on a new game, and on other saves. sebsy Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Yes, when you start a new game choose defaulkt database as opposed to 8.0.2 database. You will still get all the bugfixes etc but Defoe will be at Spurs, Benjani at Portsmouth etc. It's what I'm doing, I always prefer to play with the squads how they were at the start of the season, what with me starting at the start of the season and all. Just spent two hours recreating the team I had in my last 8.0.1. save game with the editor and FM displays an 'array access out of bounds' and won't load the database. So I go back to my old game and now MiniSE won't work. Nothing has worked for me with FM08. I had loads of problems installing the damn thing, the game itself seems to lack a certain something, now this. If I sound a bit like I'm just jumping in and moaning unreasonably, the previous three versions of the game were absolutely fine and I had no problems at all, they just worked. Alright, rant over. I've just uninstalled and reinstalled FM and the 8.0.1 update in order to just go back to what I had and now it won't load my existing save game. I give up. aaberdeenn Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 I've got no skins installed but since I've installed the 8.0.2 patch this config file has appeared in the skins section of the football manager 2008 folder in my documents. Does this suggest an alteration to the default skin? Can anyone shed any light on this? I'm just curious to know where it's come from because it definitely wasn't there before I installed the patch. ataman5 Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 I would like to thank si but ı just can't, you need to have another patch immediately, the problem is about 2 very well known team of turkish super league:Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, their finances problem is absolutely unacceptable!!! they lose a lot of money and ı mean A LOT! I think si team has already been awakened about the problem, and ı would like to know what will happen, because with this huge bug it is no use playing a game far away from real simulation with turkish league, so lots of people waiting for the new patch, and it is a must in these circumstances..
