Its finally actually done !!!

Hey there you amazing people! First id like to apologize to those who were excited about this database on FM23 and I fell of the map. There were so many issues with the database and I was struggling to make it work the way I wanted it to work add on that the fact I was moving to another city and I just gave up on the database all together. 

This all changed recently when I found out that on FM24 Yugoslavia was actually in much better state then on FM23 and could be made playable with slight effort due to this I have to give massive credit to Ex Jugoslavija lower at the sortitoutsi forums who made them fully playable with CORRECT newgen names. I have taken his DB and built upon it as well fixed many issues I found to create this fever dream. 

So lets get to the meat of it.

Features :
 

• Almost all players between potential of 130 to 200 max age of 27 have been moved to their original clubs/most recent clubs in Yugoslavia.
• Young players will NOT leave until they turn 27 and may stay until their retirement
• Actual Yugoslavia not Serbia , Croatia , Bosnia , etc
• Yugoslavia in Europe, World Cup and Nations League
• Max 3 foreign players rule 
• Nine levels (credit to Ex jugoslavija lower) 
• Honors wiped from 1991 onwards

Known issues:

• Some players you want may still be outside of the country I did not transfer them all back in because that would have bankrupted some clubs but I did try to get those with highest potential and highest ability back in to the country there should be majority of players with 120 ability and 130 potential and up in the country over 500ish players have been transferred back for sure.
• (Possibly fixed needs bit more testing) Newgens may leave on compensation to other country's - in a 13 year sim I did yesterday on slightly less strict rules then they are now I saw three newgens leave Yuga very young (16 and 18) both for compensation but 2 in 13 years I think is good enough.
• (Possibly fixed needs bit more testing) Sometimes players like Gvardiol may leave after 2-3 years similar to issue above I have see players mostly Gvardiol leave fairly early however players like Šeško and Vlahović stayed until their retirement ! I have not done another 13 year sim to see if this has been fixed with most recent changes I did to transfers outside but I am 3 years in to it and they are all still in Yugoslavija
• Issue with sortitoutsi namefix makes competition names look really weird works fine with FMScout name fix however!

This looks incredible. If you go to other countries' and set their transfer preferences, you might be able to get it so no one signs Yugoslavs until they turn 27 (if you're trying to replicate something like that rule). Fantastic work

Yes mate thats what I did. However sadly it seems the setting is not fully functional so some are still able to sign them. But its very rare.

PS. You should've put TSC instead of one of the Kosovo teams. Historically, only Pristina played in the 1st league from the region, and TSC is now the 3rd, maybe 2nd best team in Serbia

Lovely work, looks incredible!

 

Questions:

1. I see there are still foreign players in some teams, and quite a lot of them in some of them. Is this something you will remove(don't know if they have Yugoslav 2nd nationality)?

2. Players still have their International caps/goals etc. Will you remove them? bit on the fence with this, I think you can remove newer debutans but not the veterans. 

 

And this goes into a "issue". If you want to keep them, the records for the nation is not updated, will you update that? Or will it fix itself automatically when you have started the game?

I do not think so no. I tried making it for FM23 but it had too many issues.

I did not remove the foreign players no and do no intend to. AI sold them inside the first two transfer windows without any issue.  It would be a bit too much work to go in to every cap or goals to be moved for each player as I had transferred a lot of them back in to Yugoslavia.

Bravo!! Nice job! Match squad have to have at least 8 players trained by the club? Subs also counting ?

Did you change something about finance? Maybe give more money to the clubs, so they can compete with Europe clubs. 

Or to give more money awards to clubs that are promoted to bigger division, so they can be competitive. 

And maybe i missed something, but i dont know where to put these 2 files. 

P.s. I put them into editor data. But when i start the game, i dont see jugacanintospace file, only Yugoslavia reborn file.

Yes squad means bench as well. You should see "Europe Additional Nation 22.4" that is the actual name of the file I had just renamed it.

Did you do something so that we can get good Wonderkids in the leagues? Croatia and Serbia have 30 of them combined in FM24.

Yes! The nations youth rating is around the level of Germany.

I just checked, I have logos for 1209 teams with the logo I could find for the team that is as close to what they used in the 80s as possible; I also have logos of 3 yugoslavian magazines that followed football at the time, a couple of the cups given at the time; I also have might still have the logos for most of the different states federations, but only the source as pins, I haven't redrawn those yet.

Sadly no, as id have to revert everything I had done on this one. You can find another version on sortitoutsi. But its completely different version without improvments this DB has.

Is there anyway that the countries can be preserved (Croatia, Serbia, etc) while still keeping the Yugoslavian league? I'd like to play something similar to the ABA league in Basketball with many countries in one league.

Spent hours trying to make a sloppy one the past 2 days before I remembered to look on here hahaha. Amazing though. Obviously there will be players missed (Dzeko, Visca, Sehic from Zeljo for example) that aren't transferred but no biggie, easy to transfer the ones that I care about for my team over! I remember checking last year on here a few times throughout the year before making a basic one where I just renamed one of the countries and moved clubs over, but this is way better. Getting them to actually stay in the league is great. Where does the league rank in Europe after 13 seasons? I'd hope to get it to be somewhere in the top 5 leagues, maybe somewhere on par with the French league in reputation, around 5th in Europe?

Hey everything is ok only names of regens are wrong . they all come with serbian names not macedon bosnian slovenian or croatian . becouse of that i can not play . is it possible to change that

I am afraid that is simply impossible to make. With how FM currently sets up names it limits it to specific regions due to this it will always be serbo/croatian names which is for majority of Yugoslavia as it is. Previously this was compleatly bugged so you had completely foreign names.

ok thanks for answer . i dont  see croatian names on pics in future for you it is all the same but we see difference. You used serbian as base nation. One guy did it in fm21 or 20 i played it all born had names from country they are coming from . Mac , bos  ser slo ..... . but he left all nationality. Only league was together .

Yeah, this sadly is just not possible to be made like that anymore. I had tried to do it last year it and it did not work. This year this was best I could do.

And I am Croatian myself and they are the same in some aspects.

I don't think there even is Yugoslav dinar in the game.

Sama Jugoslavija iz database je korištena ko baza ne Srbija.

New Update! 

New update has been posted in the opening post. It needs testing so please let me know how your play troughs went. 

Here is changes made

1. Fixed the name issue that was brought up. All newgens will have correct names based on their clubs region/city they will however also have a 2nd nationality due to that but they should all always pick Yuga. 

2. Fixed an issue with lower leagues where clubs would go completely bust due to stadium requirements with board always taking 250 milion in loans to build stadiums good enough for the league

3. Balanced out the prize money a little bit

4. Trying out a new method to prevent players from leaving (on top of the safe guards from before) all clubs have to put in mandatory release clause of 90 milion on players for forgein clubs let me know if this helps!

5. Updated to the most recent database release

If any other changes are needed let me know and I will see if they can be done !

No by default it's not, but I know a lot of users have ways of editing files although money is the one that's escaped me. Took me ages to figure out how to sort languages properly so I am really hoping someone stumbles across money so I can actually add the various missing currencies missing
