I have started this thread for people to post their progress  for teams not in England, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal and Holland as there are already basically threads for them countries.

This is for people who like managing teams in places like Belgium, Croatia, Bulgaria, Austria etc.

Anyone can post their progress in here as I like seeing how people do in smaller countries.

Also I think by us posting in here people will see some really good prospects and hiddem gems.

I am currently Anderlecht as they have been crushed by bad financial matters.

I managed to win the Belgium league in my first season and sold some good players for good money to help with the finaical issues but Anderlecht are in serious financial trouble and I have to sell my best players every year.

My balance is good at the moment.

image.thumb.png.7f9d8783597863631adc8cb3b88b9ca2.png

But look at the net debit. I owe the bank £70m.

My transfers in and out in season 1 & 2

Season 1

image.thumb.png.cd737e2b401f61b168b995d55b20ea34.png

My best transfer out was Orjan Nyland who I signed on a free transfer in July and then 2 months after Atlanta United come in with an offer of £11m up front and then £2.5m in clauses. I made £13.5m on a player I got for free.

Season 2 Transfers

image.thumb.png.677c64d257ccf9e2e18abe00fdb715bd.png

Main transfer out was a record departure for Anderlecht and it was for their best player as well. Yari Vershaeren went to Bayern Munich for a deal that would be £30m upfront and then £11.5m in clauses including 20% of any future transfer.

Great thread! And great choice with Anderlecht!

But when you're talking about the top 6 nations I'm thinking about Portugal as the sixth nation and not Holland ;)

That's true I think the Dutch league is 9th after the top 5, Portugal, Russia and Belgium

Yeah I said specifically cos someone has just turned the Ajax thread into the Dutch league thread. I appreciate your kind words though and feel free to contribute.

@karanhsingh and @BadAss88 I have changed it and excluded Portugual now as you are right saying Portugal are higher then Holland.

As I said I didn't pick Holland cos @karanhsingh just changed the Ajax thread to the Dutch league thread so I didn't see the need to include Holland.

Fair enough. Great results with Anderlecht!

Top 7 just seems odd..it gives room for a lot of speculation which are in the top 7. I would just go for top 5 as that's most clear (or you could still go for a Belgium thread as no-one posted another career in here! :p )

Nevertheless, great results with Anderlecht!

Haha love it! My OCD couldn't handle it! Much appreciated!

I'm planning my first save with RSC Anderlecht as well ;)

I wanna implement some Pep-Man City-style since I'm playing as Vinnie, which is he trying to accomplish at Anderlecht right now..not very successfully at the moment :(

If you are doing an Anderlecht save I reccomend you play Mohammed Guindo as much as possible as he has been brilliant for me in my 2nd season.

Mohammed Guindo also showing he has great goalscoring touch by winning the UEFA Champions League Golden Boot with 10 goals and 3 assists. Cristiano Ronaldo got 10 goals by only 1 assist so Guindo only just won but to even be in the same wavelength as Ronaldo is amazing for the 18 year old prospect.

I play in Linfield in Northern Ireland. You can probably win the championship with the starting team. I'm trying to get the finances under control. Get players in who are better than the players at Linfield. Starting with quite a few loans, then trying to buy them. It has become a little difficult with Brexit. Next goal to reach the final of Euro Cup 2. If it gives 3.5 more seasons, then Linfield should be in a Euro Cup 2 final. Now I'm 2.5 years inside the game.

I started with Salzburg yesterday. Trying to get them European trophies in, and obviously trying to keep hold of Dominik Szoboszlai. I’m basing my whole tactic and philosophy on Hasenhuttls 4-2-2-2. Trying to take the world by storm

Salzburg are one of the teams I want to manage cos of players like Szoboszlai, Patson Daka and Noah Okafor etc.

Okay, so I have settled on my team in Russia this year and that team is CSKA Moscow. Ill be setting the game up tonight and hopefully provide an update on how I start over the next few days. Until then here is the introduction....

Although 3 of those players are now getting on a bit, Akinfeev is 34, Fernandes is 29 and Dzagoev is 30. But I think Ive got a solid core of players there to work around, not sure on the ability of the other players in the squad but I will have a good look when I load the game up.

Thanks all! Managed to play my opening game last night and defeated Krasnodar (who are predicted to finish above me) quite comfortably 2-0 so a decent start.

Also I know its very boring but Ive got Arezo coming in in the January transfer window. I know everyone seems to sign him but this is probably the biggest club I will manage on this years game from the start and it will probably be my only chance to sign him. In my Sunderland save Im into my 3rd season and hes already at PSG so Ill never sign him there

I’ve just started a save with OH Leuven in Belgium. Their financial issues are quite bad themselves.

Love the prospect of leading a small club in the top division to the top and best in Europe.

Aim to win the UCL with them and win the WC with Belgium☑️

I've just started a save with Ferencváros in Hungary, with the aim of bringing Hungary's league coefficient up to par with the top leagues in Europe. Something like the San Marino challenge, but with a bigger country. I'm not sure how long it's going to take but I'm pretty excited about making the nation better and improving the quality of youth generated in the country too

Nice. Good luck with that. Am I right in thinking they have abandoned foreign player limits from this season in Hungary?

AGF finished 3rd in the 3F Superliga last season (the Danish top flight) and would be in the Europa League qualifying rounds

They are predicted to finish 3rd in the league again this year, but the board would accept 'top half'

There are 12 clubs and after 22 games the league splits in to two groups of six - Championship & Relegation groups

General.thumb.png.4fac47004458e91de85d533a5f03edf0.png

Upon arrival, there were two experienced pros holding the position of Captain & Vice Captain

But Aar Hus prefers younger players (under 30) and immediately informed the squad of his plans to give youth a chance

Meanwhile, the Chairman was busy telling the new manager what was expected of him - and what resources he had available
