Hey @knap,

looking at your test-HUB für 23.2 I recognize 23.1-tactics to be very competetive. I look at you Beowulf 424 in different versions.

Do you refer to the 23.1-version of those tactics? I cannot manage to find any 23.2- versions of them in your tactics-overview.

2nd question: Would you suggest looking at the ME23.3 or at the testing-HUB when choosing a setup for my 2025 Atletico-Side?

Thank you and keep up your great work!

@sydk

The ME s focused on the DM Strata so flat 442s are not the best formation option. I am of the opinion that the MC strata should also be tweaked to take advantage of the double pivot with deeper lying attacking MCs. Applies also to the 4231.

Can someone help?

What is the best plug and play tactic that I can use for Arsenal?

It has to be either 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, and I want to use the current Arsenal squad, not do any signings.

I don't have that much time on FM each day, so can't test to much unfortunately. There are sooo many tactics to choose from. I don't want to go with anything that is ineffectual :-P

One that gives me a very good/the best chance of winning the PL with the Gunners

I have not played since the winter update, but heard tactics from before doesn't work as well, which is a shame!

Happy easter everyone!

Those FM Tactics were pure plug and play. FM17 was the 3430 era an someone won the FM Cup wit a VN Club FC united.

FMT is best game but no longer free with PC Version

Im using console version on PC, but despite what they saying ME is not the same i tried many tactics there and nothing works for me, all FM 23 seems not doing well with instant result, i also miss good old FMT♥️

@knap Any suggestion for a lower league tactic with the latest patch? Maybe something basic like 442 or 451?

Us and them 4-1-2-3 (4-3-3dm) and Beowulf 4-4-2 will definitely still do the job at the lowest levels

@knap , I like a 1-tactic-fits-all kind of solution, where I can start somewhere down in the lower leagues of Switzerland or Kenya and work my way up to Ajax, Liverpool and the Germany NT, for example.

What kind of solid defence, beautiful atticking tactic can I use for that? I really like the Johan Cruijff, Ajax-style of play with wingers, and attacking fullbacks, but I'm open to other attractive styles as well.

@Jorgen

In general all the tactics can be used in this way, apart from maybe more specialty type tactics sch as those for PSG..

I prefer MEs with more expansive play with slick passing, but others prefer more chaos.

Lower League and top team tactics tested are 451 and 424 so far.

Are Lower League tests helpful to people?

Just sort Arsenal column for choice.

Yes, that worked well!

101 points first season, won of course. Also EFL Cup and Europa League. Lost FA semi against Tottenham
Second season going well so far. 19 won, 1 draw, 0 loss.

One significant transfer, Jude Bellingham season 2.

Cadoni recommended shouts or use AM for Shouts

FM22 Shouts - Encourage (0-0; 20 min mark) - Calm Down (win 1-0 after you scoring) - Demand More (draw) - Praise (win by 2 goals) - Berate (loss by 2 goals

AWAY GAMES SUS

With regard to Away games it depends upon your own risk factor. I am gung ho and prefer to attack and perhaps win 1 game in 3. If isk adverse then use a defensive tactic and perhaps draw all 3 games.

As a defensive formation I would use451/ 4141 as it has a DM and protects wings.

The LOE can be adjusted with or without DL adjustments. The simple answer is just drop LOE..

For a SUS these are ideas to use.

Remove counter press counter

Remove pass into space

Stop WB runs by going to defend or no nonsense FB

Change mentality cautious

full SUS would be to regroup and hold shape

I tend to judge what to use by how the game is progressing as you may just to want to control game rather than a full SU
