We won our final game after coming back from 2-0 down and I've decided that this will be my final game in charge of High Quality since we won't have any continental football next season, the new board don't want to go semi-pro either so I've left with a parting gift of getting the club to improve the youth and training facilities. I'll stay in charge until December 31st which is when the majority of real contracts run out and then I'll apply for every available job and go to the one that's offering me the most money.

You've worked your butt off for seven seasons, so I can only agree with your decision. In any normal country you would've received a ton of jobs so far, so let's see where you end up.

Over 60 contracts expired so there's plenty of choice!

Ended up applying for 111 jobs.

Big decision there!! Tough luck on the 2nd place in the league.

What relationship does your disliked list have with you? Former staff, players?

Sonam Wangchuk is a former Bhutan U19's manager and current Paro Utd manager, Dinesh Dorji is the former Samtse & Druk Stars manager, currently managing Thimphu FC, Kinley Dorji spent 6 years managing Ugyen Academy and is now my successor at High Quality and Ashok has been Druk United manager since 2015.

Strange to think they then dislike you, considering you're domination over the league will be over.

Anyway, onto bigger and better things hopefully.

Kataller Toyama (カターレ富山 Katāre Toyama) is a football club in Japan that was formed from the merger of the old ALO's Hokuriku and YKK AP F.C.clubs. They currently play in J3 League.

The idea of a merged team had been discussed by the Toyama Prefectural Football Association as early as 2005, but discussions had come to nothing.

On September 10, 2007, YKK (owner of YKK AP F.C.) and Hokuriku Electric Power Company (owner of ALO's Hokuriku), agreed with merging their teams to aim promotion to the J. League in response of eager request by the TPFA. According to Tulip TV, local broadcasting company, over 20 companies informally promised to invest in the new team. In the media briefing, the governor of Toyama Prefecture also participated.

TPFA has founded an organization named "Civic Football Club Team of Toyama Prefecture (富山県民サッカークラブチーム)" with two major economic organization and representatives of Hokuriku Electric Power Company and YKK. The Japan Football League confirmed that the merged club would compete in the JFL from the 2008 season.

They applied for J. League Associate Membership in January 2008, then their application was accepted at the Board meeting of J. League on February 19, 2008. On November 23 they secured qualification for promotion to J2, and on December 1 promotion was made official by J. League.

We're in Japan! Kataller have just been promoted to the 2nd tier and it's my job to keep them there,

There are some flaws in Japan, mainly that there is no club overview screen and I can't see the clubs history or previous managers/ best xi's and things like that. I'm still very excited though because this is a massive wage and the next best offering was £725 p/w from an Iranian 2nd tier side!

Great move, love Japanese football, always used to watch the J-League highlights when they were on Sky.

Fujita looks a prospect and a half already. Good Luck

Japan has been a place I've wanted to manage in since I started playing FM 8 years ago! Never seen the J-League in real life though. Hopefully we can stay up!

that's shady as hell lol

Goes to show how much he doesn't like me, takes over my job then sends all my players to his old club!

Some big teams in that league...Kashiwa Reysol, Tokyo Verdy, Consoldale Sapporo, Shimizu S-Pulse, V-Varen Nagasaki and Jubilo Iwata have all been J-League teams.

So an expected tough start there, hopefully your fortunes change!!

Good luck in Japan!! I had lots of fun in Japan with my current Journeyman-career. I took over Holly Hock. Within only 4 years I managed to win the Champions League with them. In the Club World Cup final I lost against PSG. It was great fun!

Good luck! Keep following this :)

Holly Hock have spent a few seasons in the J-League but as you can see, they're back in the 2nd tier now, sounds like a great career! Thanks for following!

I think your timing to move was right, going to be interesting to see how you do in Japan

Maybe more how long I last instead of how I do,

this is a rough first season.  On the upside, you've beaten Zweigen and Parceiro, so hopefully you can get points vs Fujieda and Fagiano too.. ;)

Well we got a point against one of those teams.

It's funny how some these Japanese clubs have Portuguese names. 'Parceiro' means 'partner', 'friend' or 'buddy'. Very appropriate at the moment.

I wonder why that is then, yep very appropriate!

It's even weirder that "Kataller", according to Wiki, is a portmanteau of Katare (Japanese for 'win') and Aller (French for 'to go'). :D

Whereas the name "Zweigen" is a blend of the German zwei, for the number 2, and gen, to advance.

Lots of different language clubs in Japan!

Now that's a turnaround! 8 points clear of relegation with 17 to go.  This is much much better :)

Hopefully we can keep up this run of form and maybe even pull clearer from the bottom!

Overall it's been a good season so far, since the aim was to attempt to avoid relegation. Hopefully you survive and you'd be able to build up next season, or follow the money.

Agreed, this 2nd half of the season has been a lot more promising than the first and we're looking really close to survival now!

ok the season review made no sense. First paragraph, it says you were expected to avoid relegation and this turned out to be a disappointing campaign. Next paragraph, it says this season was a feel good story.
