Out of the cup, 6th in the league. Yorkshire in a good position and won't be relegated this time - yes!

If we carry on like that, UEFA Cup / Europa League is a possibility.

If we have a good end of season, the Champions League is also a possiblity.

A dodgy finish should mean mid-table obscurity. Come on Yorkshire!

And we are now getting to the business end of the first English Premier League season. 3 points separate the top two in Somerset Sunbathers and the Greater Manchester Mongooses, with 3 points again separating the Mongooses with the Essex Eagles. But then 5 points separate 3rd and 11th, which means that anyone could really get the champions league spots which must lead us to an exciting finale. Down at the bottom the Isle of Man Metros and the Merseyside Magicians have some work to do as they are 3 and two points behind 17th place and the Hampshire Harriers have a game in hand.Derbyshire Dazzle and the Herefordshire Hotshots could get dragged into it although, Lancashire Lions and the Cheshire Cobras look like they are safe.

Some EPL teams strugled in the first leg of the first knockout round of the champions league, with Herefordshire Hotshots losing to Benfica 1-0 and the Isle of Man Metros drew with Marseille 0-0. However, they were playing away from home so will have a home advantage in the next leg.

Yeah I will be. I'll be at home this time as well so I'll be able to run it. Apologies for the time delay in updates, just haven't had a lot of time having started my GCSE year and when I have had time I've wanted to play my own saves. But I'll try to make the updates more frequent.

In a month with very few games in the Somerset Sunbathers kept top spot despite losing to the Hampshire Harriers. The Essex Eagles and Greater Manchester Mongooses missed out on the opportunity though having also lost a match. Merseyside Magicians got 4 points which moves them closer to getting out of the relegation zone but so did the Hampshire harriers. The Worcestershire Wonders and Isle of Man Metros will be hoping their new managers can get them out of the relegation zone.

Quarter Final Replay

We saw some good games in the quarter finals with 18 goals being scored in all. Top of the table, Somerset Sunbathers, perhaps surprisingly lost to the Derbyshire Dazzle unluckily 3-2. And the Cheshire Cobras kept up their remarkable cup runs beating the Gloucestershire Goons 1-0 and booking a place in their second semi final of the year.

Player Ratings

The Cheshire Cobras edged a close match 3-1 thanks to two fantastic goals be Lionel Messi. The Cannons may have felt that they should have got something from the struggling EPL side.

Champions League

First Knockout Round Second Leg

All four EPL teams managed to qualify for the quarter finals of the champions league. Although the Isle of Man Metros struggled to beat Marseille and only won on penalties. Herefordshire Hotshots struggled as well but Devon Demons and the Kent Killers dominated their ties against Juventus and Sparta Prague respectively.

Uefa Cup

Second Round First Leg

Second Round Second Leg

We have our first European casualty with Nottinghamshire Knights going out on away goals to fellow EPL team Gloucestershire Goons after winning the first leg 2-1, but that wasn't enough as the Goons won the secod leg 1-0 at home. However the Hampshire Harriers comfortably beat Celtic 2-0 in both legs.

Now there is no excuse to not win the league as we crash out of the FA Cup, gutted about that. I have got a bad feeling though and think we might lose the title in the last few games...

On a more positive note, it is nice to see Tevez a lot more efficient up front than IRL :)

We had a very busy penultimate month to the season. Somerset Sunbathers are still on top but the Essez Eagles are only one point behind them and 3 points separate Essex from, 6th place Greater Manchester Mongooses. The Merseyside Magicians have made a late push away from the relegation zone and look like they're safe. The Isle of Man Metros look all but relegated, but other than that it is very close down there and anyone up to 12th place could end up being relegated.

FA Cup

Essex Eagles v Derbyshire Dazzle

Surrey Savagers v Cheshire Cobras

The Derbyshire Dazzle were very unfortunate to lose to the Essez Eagles who scored 3 quick goals at the start of the match. However, Surrey Savagers were definitely on top in their match against the Cheshire Cobras and won thanks to a goal from Karim Benzema and a Bruno Cheyrou own goal. The two finalists are from opposite ends of the table but it should prove to be an interesting encounter.

Second Leg

Three of the EPL teams met their match in the Quarter Final. Barcelona destroyed the Isle of Man Metros, Real Madrid beat the Devon Demons thanks to an 86th minute winner from Steven Gerrard. And the Kent Killers lost 3-2 to Herefordshire Hotshots in the all EPL tie.

Semi Final First Leg

Herefordshire Hotshots v Barcelona

Roma v Real Madrid

Herefordshire hotshots won a very exciting game against Barcelona thanks to a winner in the third minute of second half injury time. However, with Barcelona's three away goals may mean that they have almost a better chance in the second leg. Real Madrid also narrowly beat Roma away from home, that game is also very much in the balance.

Both EPL teams still in the competition qualified for the semi finals convincingly with Gloucestershire Goons beating Hertha BSC 4-1 and Hampshire Harriers beating Genoa 8-3.

Fenerbache took an early lead in the semi final beating Shakhtar 2-0. And the Gloucestershire Goons versus Hampshire Harriers match ended in a 0-0 draw meaning that it is all to play for in the second leg.

Argh. Occupied 1st place for a small while, but dropped points at bottom of the league Isle of Man. Still very much in contention though, and it should be quite an exciting run in.

Good to see me claim 'Manager of the Month' and see Totti claim second place in 'Player of the Month' \o/
