Presume he will turn out great again so don't want to get out bid and miss out... That's a lot of money to spend in the first season itself mate. I don't suppose you'll have a large transfer budget and spending that much money on Paloschi might not be very wise for now unless you're happy with every other position in your squad. I would wait until next year even if it means paying more.
Forza Italia
If he's unhappy then yes...He's a very good first team player for me however after rejecting a bid from barca for him he became unhappy That affects his performance... He's not unhappy, his agent just said he would consider a move to Spain to play for Barca or Real. Real never bid though. Since I know Barca is rich I gave them a counter of around 25-30m USD. They withdrew and Camo seems fine.

essien_5
Buying/Selling: Buying Player Name: Luis Fabiano Your Team: Chelsea Buyer/Seller: Sevilla Player's Value: £9.5m Offer: £21.5m (release clause) Transfer/Wage Budget: £80m Season: Demo, beginning of 1st Sold Anelka to Man Utd for £16.5m and need a replacement striker. Buying/Selling: Buying Player Name: Edin Dzeko Your Team: Chelsea Buyer/Seller: Wolfsburg Player's Value: £5.5m Offer: £16m Transfer/Wage Budget: £80m Need a long term target man replacement for Drogba. Buying/Selling: Buying Player Name: Chinedu Obasi Your Team: Chelsea Buyer/Seller: Hoffenheim Player's Value: £4.5m Offer: £9m Transfer/Wage Budget: £80m Having sold Anelka, it also leaves me short of options on the right wing after Joe Cole. Not great as a striker due to his finishing, but he is quick, technically sound and a decent crosser.
theincrediblehulk
essien_5 Fabiano - no. Quality that he is, that's a little too much. You can find as good/better strikers who're younger. Dzeko - definitely. Obasi - decent price so yes.

Piddy
I'd have to go for Cassano, the bargain of the game for top clubs this year methinks
Purefun
Well yeah easely Cassano but I wouldn't call that cheap tbh. Does he demand high wages?
essien_5
His wages are in the region of £65-75k pw for Chelsea, whereas Silva's are about £110k pw.
makmak
Cassano is a must buy for big clubs. Put him on AMC spot and watch him score and asist. I knew he had some awesome seasons in FM09, but i never bought him. With upgraded work rate and teamwork, he is now definetly on of the top forwards in the game. On my Milan save he scored 17 goals and 9 asists in 21(1) games. 8 MOM!
LOeSs FizIES
I want to have more English player in my Man Utd team. Is Kyle Naughton(Tottenham) is good enough for Man Utd? Purefun
Doesn't Di Maria have a buy-out clause of 3.5 mil?? Anyway between him and Vargas imo. I would go for the cheapest.
Lisandro Lopez
Juan Manuel Vargas, jd1882. Look at Diego Buonanotte as-well.
jd1882
yeah i thought vargas as he can play full back (ekotto wants to go to marseille?). ouch! i signed maria for 9.25 on one save, at 3.5 thats a real bargain.
jd1882
next question... Buying/Selling: Selling Player Name: Jenas Your Team: Spurs Buyer/Seller: Sunderland Offer: 6 or Buying/Selling: Buying Player Name: Arturo Vidal Your Team: Spurs Buyer/Seller: Leverkusen Offer: 6m Jenas or Vidal?
AcidBurn
Di Maria should not cost more than £4.5 million, I signed him for less than that on 3 games on the demo now.

Vidal for me. Sell Jenas.
the--dud
Aye I agree, Vidal is the better option... To be honest with you they're quite similar, most attributes around 13/14 but Vidal has a lot higher Bravery/Agression/Determination
23drd23
Buying/Selling: Buying Player Name: Cassano Your Team: Milan Buyer/Seller: Sampdoria Offer: 17.5 or Buying/Selling: Buying Player Name: G Rossi Your Team: Milan Buyer/Seller: Villareal Offer: 12.5 Basically Rossi or Cassano?
Dr.Strangelove
I would choose Cassano over Rossi, in particular for the short term. IRL Rossi would be my choice but Cassano is so ridiculously talented in FM10 that I would think if you're managing any squad with the funds to get him you ought to.
Purefun
Rossi, cheaper, younger. Plus the fact that Cassano is overrated.
Dr.Strangelove
Rossi, cheaper, younger. Plus the fact that Cassano is overrated. Totally agree that Cassano is overrated by the game... but thats exactly why i would sign him over Rossi. In the long term I think Rossi is obviously the better choice but with a team like AC Milan that needs quite a bit of help right away to achieve just their min expectations i think Cassano is a huge up grade for that team and will perform better than Rossi over the next two years (as a result of being considered by FM10 as one of the best players in the world). the--dud
Slightly off-topic, but has there been any word from either researchers or SI about Cassano? Or will he be like Zhirkov/Srna of FM09?
23drd23
What about the same question (Cassano or Rossi), but for Fiorentina instead? (I'm not sure if I'll start a Milan or Fiorentina game yet) Mutu always wants to leave (in the demo at least) and whoever is bought would be his replacement
the--dud
Does Fiorentina have £17.5m to spare on a player like Cassano? If so, would it not be a very large part of your transfer kitty? I'd recommend looking at Riquelme, he's available for only £3-4m and he'll be an absolute fantastic Advanced Play Maker or Trequartista for at least 2-3 years... Also deadly on long-range shots and free-kicks!
theincrediblehulk
Buying/Selling: BuyingPlayer Name: Cassano Your Team: Milan Buyer/Seller: Sampdoria Offer: 17.5 or Buying/Selling: Buying Player Name: G Rossi Your Team: Milan Buyer/Seller: Villareal Offer: 12.5 Basically Rossi or Cassano? Cassano by a country mile mate. It's not even close between the two! What about the same question (Cassano or Rossi), but for Fiorentina instead? (I'm not sure if I'll start a Milan or Fiorentina game yet) Mutu always wants to leave (in the demo at least) and whoever is bought would be his replacement Cassano. Perfect replacement for Mutu. theincrediblehulk
Buying/Selling: BuyingPlayer Name: Marek Hamsik Your Team: Sunderland Seller: Napoli Offer: 10.75m You're getting a world-class player at a mid-table team (no offense to Sunderland fans). Definitely yes. And that's a great price too. Buying/Selling: BuyingPlayer Name: Zapata Your Team: Man city Seller: Udinese Offer: 15m Lescott & Toure are both good. But Zapata is quality too. I would buy and stick Joleon in at LB. Buying/Selling:BuyingPlayer Name:Frey Your Team:Man City Buyer/Seller:Fiorentina Player's Value: Offer:20m Transfer/Wage Budget: 73m Patch: demo 2010 Yep, world-class keeper. Can't go wrong. the--dud
Tan23: Feel free to post in the Man City thread where you might get more specific advise Also, to be honest you don't really need a keeper at City do you? If you're going to buy a keeper I think you should buy someone younger like Akinfeev, Adler, Neuer, Lloris. Other stuff you can spend the budget on which is a bit more urgent... Zapata is excellent and Man City is a bit short of centre backs so yes buy him.
