Criscito is a hero. He rejected Man City because he thinks that he is better off with Juve

Pjanić. ;)

Support advanced playermaker? Abit of mouthful of a role, er, Kuzmanović? Montolivo? Cabaye (maybe not Arsenal standard at the moment)? Toulalan? Bodmer use to be ace in that role as-well. Sorry I've gone all French at the end. :D

I would love to sign pjanic but he maybe a bit pricey and toulalan/ bodmer the same. The worst thing about this is i have nasri and rosicky waiting around so it is hard to get the right role for them without making Cesc not as brilliant as possible :(

definitely yes, looks like he could turn out to be a class player, and no matter what happens you'll make some kind of profit.

And you can't really go wrong for a million.

Maybe have a look at Ravel Morrison, Aaron Spear, Joe mattock, Josh McEashran and Jonjo Shelvey. They all have good potential too.

You've already got Adam Pepper too, who could turn out well if you play your cards right ;)

zaaachhh

No doubts, yes for both. Great signings for Derby, epecially for free

Just about to start my second season and wanted to know if anyone would recommend buying Cassano for 22M? I dont mind paying out if he will bring home the bacon in matches.

Hernanes, definite purchase.

I bought him on my Arsenal save and he shone.

On my Man City save, he went to Chelsea and was the 2nd highest rated player there in the first season.

Sorry sure, I'm Man Utd. Was bit reluctant to say who I was as the normal response I get is

'Use the Man Utd thread'. But i dont think Ill have enough for Cassano this season as Ive just bought Adler and Dzeko.

Planning to buy Srna but im lagging funds at the minute!

Ahh, you can ask in the Buy/Sell thread about buying for any club don't worry :)

£22 is a fair bit for United, where was you going to play him?

Ah thats great. I was planning on using him as an AML as I have just sold Nani to Aston Villa for 13M and Park Ji Sung doesn't really cut the mustard as a regular first team player.

But after buying Dzeko and Adler I only have 13.9M left in the kitty so I wouldn't be able to afford Cassno anyway. Plus I did buy Balotelli at the start and I can always use him as a AML/R as he is pretty good there also!

Great thanks I will keep now. Hmmm ive just been offeref VDV from R.Madrid for 8M. It is very tempting.

Now that I have 13.9M left in the bank I could do one of two things:

1) Buy VDV for 8M to replace Carrick (who ive sold already for 13M) even though ive got fletcher, Hamsik and Anderson for backup in the centre of the park.

2) Buy Rafinha for 13.5M (whos already accepted my contract offer) to replace Wes Brown who was my RB for all of last season. But Ive noticed that young twin Raphael is getting pretty good now with the right training so I'm not sure if I really need Rafinha. Although another defender is nice peace of mind and its always important have good back up.

Buy VdV and he will cover AML and CM, AMC, AMR :) Hes a good versitile attacking player to have!

Use the twins, they improve brilliantly this year!

I would actually have bought Cassano mate. He's an absolute monster on this year's version. VDV is decent enough and is versatile but not really that special.

Anyway, better him in attack than Rafinha in defence imo.

I wouldn't. Eduardo is a beast on FM10. Him & RVP upfront are an amazing strike force. Nothing less than 30M and that too not to a rival.

If you want to get some cash in to buy a CB, there are plenty of other expendable players at the club who you can sell to get you that cash.

A bit of a toss up to be honest, they both have exactly the same PA as well I believe... Just look at their attributes and see which one you prefer. Both should do an amazing job though.

I went with Rene Adler at the end. So far in the friendlies he hasnt conceded any goals :) I guess it could only be a good sign, i hope he can win the Premiership for me :D

Another reason why i never signed Lloris is because im Anti-Lyon :D

Nope. Plenty of great strikers around that you can pick up for less. And you should be able to get Aguero for around 50M anyway. That's not cheap either ofcourse but better than 87M!

Hmm, depends on how important a player Tosic is for you and who you have to replace him. On the face of it, I'd probably take it as Lloris is better than Ochoa. That said, Ochoa is quality himself.

I'm looking for a young striker in the mould of Chamakh, I'm playing as Bordeaux and have around £10 million to spend, any suggestions?

Bendtner? Not sure how much he'd cost though. Prudnikov might be worth a shot too. Adrian possibly. Robert Lewandowski maybe.

Completely different players so hard to make a call. Depends whether you need an attacking & creative player or whether you need a hardworking all-round midfielder. I'm a huge fan of Niko so I probably wouldn't do it myself but then like I said, depends on what you need.

Thanks for the suggestions Hulk, your helps always appreciated. Bendtner is playing first team football regularly and has a rating of 7.7 in the prem so i think he's out of the question lol. I'm trying not to buy Lewandowski seeing as i signed him an awful lot on FM09, i'll scout Prud and Adrian and see what there like.
