I wouldn't sell. He's a quality winger and should be very effective considering the aerial ability of the Juve strikers.

Player Name: Alberto Paloschi (50%)

Your Team: Parma

Buyer/Seller: AC Milan

Player's Value: 6m

Offer: 7.5m

Transfer/Wage Budget:

Patch:

Season:

I want to buy the other 50% of Alberto Paloschi at the start. They will accept 7.5m. Is it worth doing it early or should I wait to see what AC do when it comes to bidding decision for both clubs? Presume he will turn out great again so don't want to get out bid and miss out...

That's a lot of money to spend in the first season itself mate. I don't suppose you'll have a large transfer budget and spending that much money on Paloschi might not be very wise for now unless you're happy with every other position in your squad. I would wait until next year even if it means paying more.

If he's unhappy then yes...

He's a very good first team player for me however after rejecting a bid from barca for him he became unhappy :(

That affects his performance...

He's not unhappy, his agent just said he would consider a move to Spain to play for Barca or Real. Real never bid though.

Since I know Barca is rich I gave them a counter of around 25-30m USD. They withdrew and Camo seems fine.

Buying/Selling: Buying

Player Name: Luis Fabiano

Your Team: Chelsea

Buyer/Seller: Sevilla

Player's Value: £9.5m

Offer: £21.5m (release clause)

Transfer/Wage Budget: £80m

Season: Demo, beginning of 1st

Sold Anelka to Man Utd for £16.5m and need a replacement striker.

Buying/Selling: Buying

Player Name: Edin Dzeko

Your Team: Chelsea

Buyer/Seller: Wolfsburg

Player's Value: £5.5m

Offer: £16m

Transfer/Wage Budget: £80m

Need a long term target man replacement for Drogba.

Buying/Selling: Buying

Player Name: Chinedu Obasi

Your Team: Chelsea

Buyer/Seller: Hoffenheim

Player's Value: £4.5m

Offer: £9m

Transfer/Wage Budget: £80m

Having sold Anelka, it also leaves me short of options on the right wing after Joe Cole. Not great as a striker due to his finishing, but he is quick, technically sound and a decent crosser.

Cassano is a must buy for big clubs. Put him on AMC spot and watch him score and asist. I knew he had some awesome seasons in FM09, but i never bought him. With upgraded work rate and teamwork, he is now definetly on of the top forwards in the game. On my Milan save he scored 17 goals and 9 asists in 21(1) games. 8 MOM!

Basically Rossi or Cassano?

Rossi, cheaper, younger. Plus the fact that Cassano is overrated. :)

Totally agree that Cassano is overrated by the game... but thats exactly why i would sign him over Rossi. In the long term I think Rossi is obviously the better choice but with a team like AC Milan that needs quite a bit of help right away to achieve just their min expectations i think Cassano is a huge up grade for that team and will perform better than Rossi over the next two years (as a result of being considered by FM10 as one of the best players in the world).

What about the same question (Cassano or Rossi), but for Fiorentina instead? (I'm not sure if I'll start a Milan or Fiorentina game yet)

Mutu always wants to leave (in the demo at least) and whoever is bought would be his replacement

Does Fiorentina have £17.5m to spare on a player like Cassano? If so, would it not be a very large part of your transfer kitty?

I'd recommend looking at Riquelme, he's available for only £3-4m and he'll be an absolute fantastic Advanced Play Maker or Trequartista for at least 2-3 years... Also deadly on long-range shots and free-kicks!

Cassano by a country mile mate. It's not even close between the two!

Buying/Selling: Buying

Player Name: Marek Hamsik

Your Team: Sunderland

Seller: Napoli

Offer: 10.75m

You're getting a world-class player at a mid-table team (no offense to Sunderland fans). Definitely yes. And that's a great price too.

Buying/Selling: Buying

Player Name: Zapata

Your Team: Man city

Seller: Udinese

Offer: 15m

Lescott & Toure are both good. But Zapata is quality too. I would buy and stick Joleon in at LB.

Buying/Selling:Buying

Player Name:Frey

Your Team:Man City

Buyer/Seller:Fiorentina

Player's Value:

Offer:20m

Transfer/Wage Budget: 73m

Patch: demo 2010

Yep, world-class keeper. Can't go wrong. Although Given is excellent too.

Tan23: Feel free to post in the Man City thread where you might get more specific advise :)

Also, to be honest you don't really need a keeper at City do you? If you're going to buy a keeper I think you should buy someone younger like Akinfeev, Adler, Neuer, Lloris. Other stuff you can spend the budget on which is a bit more urgent... Zapata is excellent and Man City is a bit short of centre backs so yes buy him.
