DazRTaylor
Here I go again. Whilst this is a Journeyman save, I will be using the "Promote Youth" philosophy at all of my clubs. I find the youth development aspect of this game as the best part of it. As a result, I will be tagging those youth players I feel will make it with "YPxxz" where the xx is the game year they were generated and the z is the letter corresponding to the number. So YP13c would mean the player was generated in 2013 and c was the third player I felt would make it in that year's intake. Game Type - Journeyman. I will start unemployed. Reputation - Sunday League. Editor's Used I have downloaded the option for a "Huge" database, so am using this. Susie's Real Name & Media Editor. Leagues Loaded Austria Belgium Denmark England France Germany Italy Netherlands Norway Portugal Russia Scotland Spain Switzerland Turkey Ukraine Mexico United States Argentina Brazil Uruguay All leagues have been loaded down to their lowest level. Database Size - Huge In addition, I will not, under any circumstances, manage the following clubs: Weymouth (traditional rivals of Yeovil Town). Hereford United (rivals of Yeovil Town). Bristol Rovers (I cannot stand the club in real life). Boston United (they cheated to gain promotion to the Football League in real life). Sunderland ( I come from Newcastle...). MK Dons (I don't do franchises). Zenit St Petersburg (the recent "open letter" from their fans has sickened me).

DazRTaylor
I think I will try to go to clubs with youth facilities. Relative, of course, so I wouldn't expect Top facilities in the bottom tier.

DazRTaylor
daz what type of team are you looking for Ideally, each of my clubs will have some sort of youth system in place so I can bring the kids through. So, Crewe & Southampton would be fantastic longer term. For the short term, it must be a Blue Square North/South side (I always like starting on the bottom rung) and I have read all of the facilities that the clubs have and the likes of Boreham Wood & Staines are particularly appealing for this very reason. DazRTaylor
GAINSBOROUGH TRINITY Club - Gainsborough Trinity. Nation - England. League - Blue Square North (sixth tier). Stadium - The Northolme, Gainsborough. Capacity - 4,304 (504 seated). Corporate Facilities - Fairly basic. Training Facilities - Basic. Youth Facilities - Basic (rented). Youth Training Category - 0. Junior Coaching - Adequate. Youth Recruitment - Basic. Media Prediction - 5th. My expectation - 5th. I think I can claw that back, assuming I can sort the defence out. Transfer Budget - £5,000. I will reinvest this into my wage budget. Wage Budget - £6,217 per week. Current Wage Bill - £6,356 per week. League Table We lie in 17th place. I have a lot of work to do here but if I can start well, I reckon I can make the playoffs. Squad It doesn't look very good, but because I have two fantastic strikers, the star ratings of the rest have been downgraded. That said, I need some new fullbacks and a new centre half. DazRTaylor
I can't see myself here long as I stated at the top of the thread, I am committed to bringing kids through. This club does not have any facilities of note.

DazRTaylor
OCTOBER 2012 Results My first game was at Brackley and as you can see, we won comfortably. We then had two home games where we won one and drew the other for a very satisfying start to my managerial career. League Table We have risen to 14th place so I am content with that. Players In I have signed five new players, four of them permanently on free transfers, the other on loan. Luke Coulson - Released by Manchester City in the summer, this youngster will be my starting right back. Michael Bryan - Former Northern Irish Under 21 international with Championship experience, I have signed this right winger for the sheer quality he brings to the club. George King - Another teenage defender released by Manchester City in the summer, this centre half will start from the off. Elikem Amenku - 18 year old central midfielder, he signs after being released by West Bromwich Albion in the summer. A huge coup to land him. Scott Kay - Central midfielder considered surplus to requirements at Huddersfield Town. Signed on loan for two months. Players Out Four players have the left club since I arrived: Sam Mulready & Jason White were released as they were non contract players. Johnathan Williams was released after mutually agreeing to do so & Luke Waterfall signed for Billericay after I offered him to other clubs.

DazRTaylor
NOVEMBER 2012 Results With the F. A. Trophy campaign kicking off, there was only two league games, both of them away from home. A draw and a win, coupled with progress in the F. A. Trophy mean November has been very successful indeed. League Table Not much movement this month, but then we only played two games. Players In A few more faces have been added to further improve the quality of the squad. Stuart Giddings - Left back who was released by Hinckley in the summer. Was highly rated when I scouted him so I am disappointed to see him now rated at 0.5*! Tom Halsall - My third former Manchester City teenager though this chap is a goalkeeper. One for the future. Patrick Nzuzi - Former Newcastle United trainee, this versatile right back can also play in midfield. Should prove a hit. Players Out Dominic Roma left the club by mutual consent this month. DazRTaylor
DECEMBER 2012 Results We suffered the first defeat under my tenure, losing narrowly at FC Halifax. Other than this blip, it has been a good month. We also continued our progression in the F. A. Trophy as we overcame Alfreton Town, from the Blue Square Premier, which is the league above. League Table We continue to move up the table and we are now within touching distance of the play off positions as we are now sixth. Players In No one joined the club this month. Players Out No one left the club this month.

DazRTaylor
JANUARY 2013 Results A very busy month, however the new signings I made in January, made an immediate impact, especially French striker Francois Maheu, who notched five goals in his first five games. These goals helped the club to a cracking month as we won five of our eight games, with the other three being draws. All good stuff. League Table Our rise continues as we now sit in fifth position, in the playoff places! Players In With the departure of some loanees, my squad was a little short of quality so it was essential I bolstered our ranks as soon as possible. Joel Holland - The much needed left winger I have been craving. Released by Mansfield Town at the turn of the year, the teenager will go straight into the team. Francois Maheu - Fantastic looking 18 year old French striker who I hope will prove far too good for this league. Louis Briscoe - Signed on a three month loan deal from Mansfield Town, the 24 year old should slot onto the right wing nicely. Mark Oxley - Young goalkeeper signed on a three month loan deal from Hull City and should be my number one throughout his spell with us. Matt Godden - This 21 year old striker arrives from Scunthorpe United on loan for the rest of the season. It is his third loan spell with the club, the second this season. Zac Aley - Another left winger to provide some competition. The 21 year old has signed on a three month loan deal from York City. Players Out Jonathan D'Laryea left for Morecambe on a free transfer, otherwise it was a quiet month for departures.
