I think I can safely say that the survival target shouldn't be a problem, but if the board give me the option to upgrade expectations, what should I go for? There was a slightly bigger wage budget on offer for winning the league than there was for survival at the start of the season (it's £27,913 for survival at the moment, think it was £30,000 for winning the league, which isn't happening anyway)

As an Argyle fan, I'm looking forward to managing them, and bizarrely, I was looking forward to managing the Grecians as well. Not that it was easy writing that sentence!

Haha, I can imagine! I actually had an idea of doing something similar on FM18, but trying to do a 'South West' save including Bristol City, Rovers, Bath, Truro, Yeovil, Weymouth etc as well as the ones you are doing. In the end too big a project for me, but maybe one day!

Shame about the poor league form towards the end, I think you've made up for it by winning the FA Trophy though. Well done.

Thanks Rikulec! Yes, disappointed not to make the playoffs, but it gives us another season at this level. Happy with the FA Trophy win though :)

Preseason results were pretty encouraging

and I managed to extend Squire's loan before the transfer window even opened

and then made a few changes in the transfer window too

Kelleher will be a first choice centre back

Osborne is more of a backup for the same position

Breslin will initially be second choice left back, but he will eventually be first choice

and Baker-Richardson adds another striker option up front

Three players have left the club at the end of their contracts, two having retired

Hartlepool is just annoyed you turned down their manager job. Lol!

Have you got a striker to consistently put in goals?

That is the one thing I haven't been able to get tactically yet is a consistent single striker role.

I seem to spread the goals around. My top scorer is Reece Miller with 4 in 10 games so far this season
