Predicted to just avoid relegation, we hit form early and pretty much coasted the rest of the way. Having players eligible to play makes things so much easier. It's only going to get better as next season wears on. Key Players Amazing season from left wing, shame he will most likely leave us in a month. Has done amazing things at 16, will do even better things at 17. Next Season With our better players turning 16 and being able to play, I think we can make a serious push for promotion next season. That sucks man, but hey, hang in there! Start a new save, either with a different team in this challenge or just a team of your own choice completely. If you're not having fun then no point in playing these saves. There must be something that could keep your interest while being challenging and fun. Personally I'm having the time of my life with an imminent sacking, **** youngsters (I just had a new look at the Youth intake, they're worse than first anticipated, smashing stuff really) and an apparently sterile Ween. It's the battle that makes the game for me often, just like Crusader Kings II. The more absurd, the funnier. Sometimes. If I have to see another penalty being missed and then see the kicker let the ball land at his feet and not moving an inch I might break someones neck. We'll **** this up no doubt though. 3 minutes into the game and we are creating a huge chance due to a beautiful pass! Only 10 minutes later and we use chaos to take the lead!!! 20 seconds later.... Wanna see why they're behind us in the league? Well look no further. Jesus that's horrendous. Cloix is offside in the end so the chance is blown off. They didn't score anyways though. They're terrible. Those were the first 25 minutes and after that we pretty much just closed off. That tactic usually never works for us, but I just hurled it on contain at half-time and they had nothing in second half. We did, however, have a huge one-on-one for Puyoo but he missed it per usual. Being so incredibly awful, not giving up... And more likely than not continuing to be awful. That being said, don't give up because the likes of @smp20 and @BoxToBox are killing it -- they could manage a team of rotten potatoes to victory. In fact, I'm pretty sure Boxie did that on 17. And (as smp acknowledges) Bastia is one hell of a starting point. In the end, the secret to a youth challenge is in team selection, luck and embracing the pain. (Although maybe not to the extent that @Benjoe has... He's likely inflicting long-term psychological harm on himself...) That's my long-wonder way of saying don't go! If you get sacked, try again!
