[FM18] What do you call genetically modified corn? I suppose it's still corn-ish.

Well that's an intake and a half. The half being their personalities, obviously.

Allen looks like he could be a very useful defender.

Firth looks like a potential first teamer already

Frith looks amazing, Gerrard looks a player and a half (the other half is his personality) as well. Looking good for survival as well. Are you a club ledgend yet?

Frith is rated the 5th best striker at the club, he should hopefully get some game time but might need a season or two on loan since Frank Babangida is the oldest striker aged 25.

Despite the horrendous first half of the season we ended up with just three points less than last season and in the exact same position, so I'll count that as a success!

We started out well and are through to face Portsmouth in the FA Cup Second Round, hopefully with their terrible form we can get another 3rd Round to our name. We're slipping again in the league but we're still eight points ahead of Peterborough for now. :)

WE’RE POOR, AND WE KNOW WE ARE!

Also how old are you in the game now? Considering you’re at 1,700 games

Born in 1997, so just 54. Plenty of years in him yet!

Yup just 54 and this will be going until FM19.

And we all expect you to make it to at least the PL, preferably the CL, before it's over! :D

A solid end to the season and it's more mid-table obscurity for us.

2051/52 League Update

Well I've decided to only have the football league loaded, I predict us flirting between relegation and mid-table for the foreseeable future so I'm removing the lower leagues to keep the speed decent and will think about adding them back in if and when we make European competition, which is something I really want to achieve before FM19.

Safety established in League One. That's quite an achievement.

Shame to see you dropping a lot of leagues though.

Thanks, I just hope that we can keep it up!

I changed my mind a little bit and I've kept down to the Vanarama North/South loaded since that's how many leagues are available out of the box, this has still taken almost 20,000 players out of the database and 18 leagues that are no longer running so hopefully it speeds up a bit.

That will certainly help with the speed.

My new game I've gone down to level 8 even though I'm using a database that goes down to level 10.

That's the downside, since I started with level 22 loaded, it does mean that every cup still gets simulated but I have them all on minimal detail so not a lot else I can do with that.
